A bit suspicious that all attempts on different cards (that work with everyone else) won’t go through then in the space of 2 hours increase the quote by £20 then a further £20! Apparently someone will apply to my email within £48 hours! Looks like I had a lucky escape.

Wanted to change my cover as my old car broke down, and I needed to insure a new one. Locked out of my account because it wouldn't accept a new password with 5 attempts, then unable to access my account as the reset password feature failed. No phone number to contact the company, and no way of accessing my account. A total joke. Put in a complaint to Quotemehappy and to the (dispute) Resolver website, but am still left with only third party insurance cover for my new car. I shall be contacting Watchdog and any other similar programmes to try to alert others to steer clear of this company at all costs. AVOID QUOTEMEHAPPY INSURANCE

Would rather give zero stars. I believe I bought a policy through them - concluding with being guided to setup an id on their website. Four days later, I visited the website to check my policy. It wasn't there ! It's impossible to contact them to find out if I'm covered or not ! They claim to be available 24/7 on email - but they don't publish an email address - they obviously mean 'fill in the form and an email will be generated" - but all the selections I made resulted in me being told to visit the 'My Policies' part of the website - not helpful. I still don't know if I'm covered, and I guess I won't until the policy is due to kick-in shortly (in which case I wish to cancel - but, of course, I have no policy number). Amateur setup.

Same as other reviews about service, i was quite happy with quote and wanted to accept but when i tried to log in again just kept refusing to accept password and got no response to resetting my password so i have abandoned my efforts and will insure with others, steer clear unless you want to be totally frustrated.

I would give them no stars if I could! For an online only company their website and app are a disaster area. I have tried multiple times to obtain a password reset so I can access my account and they don’t send one (trust me, I’ve checked my junk mail it’s not in there!). App claimed my correct details were not linked to my account number. Avoid!

DO NOT buy insurance with them! I was not allowed to make changes to an existing car insurance after I purchased a new car and no reason is given. Was forced to cancelled the policy with £56 cancellation fee. Went to comparison website to buy another insurance for my new car and saw a quote from Quotemehappy, which means there is no reason why they couldn't update the car insurance for me in the first place. There is no number you can phone the company except make a claim, so basically no proper customer service.

Andy, chippenham. 6th may 2019, would give a zero if possible, locked out of account, website sends you round and round in circles. Insurance is up for renewal, which I want to cancel, but cant, They seem happy to email me for payment., of course you can't reply. If you want cheap insurance then go it, wish I looked at reviews before.

No way to contact anyone for an answer. It just keeps taking you round in circles via an automated response system and tells you to keep rephrasing your question until they send you to the right place. Because I 'couldn't ask the question in the right way' I didn't get an answer. Tried to send me to a contact form which crashed every time. I'll be cancelling my motor insurance, I'm going to cancel my home insurance also whilst I'm still in cooling off period because I don't want to be in a situation where I need assistance again. Terrible customer service.

Changed car mid term and QMH computer refused to insure new one (same make and model, just newer). Only options were to continue existing policy or cancel policy. Had to cancel as no access to anyone to discuss why new car refused and needed insurance to use the new car. Quote Me Happy then charged me £56 from the refund of unexpired portion for the pleasure of dealing with their computer. Quote me "Not Happy at All and will never use again". Can't believe this is an off shoot of Aviva who I have found had great customer service in the past.

This is the worst insurance company ever. No one to talk to and if you send an email they never reply and as they could not sort out their issues with payments they cancelled my policy just like that! HOPELESS AVOID!!

THE WORST INSURANCE EVER. I had a policy with this insurance company, they are completely automated and will not assist you with your problems. Their contact number is for claims only apparently and they ignore you if you ask anything else. Their online chat is automated as well there isn't another person on the other side of the screen it's just a robot it's impossible to discuss anything. I have tried to reset my password they locked me out of my account I requested a password change and they aren't cooperating at all. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Undoubtedly the worst online experience for me ever. The website only occasionally let me into my account even though I use the same username and password every time. This is super frustrating when time is limited and spending 45 minutes trying to get into my account is not what I need. This cannot be resolved by phone, as QMH do not have a phone number to ring which is doubly frustrating. Also when uploading my NCD, this was rejected by the robotics of QMH which had always been a success at other insurance companies in the past. So trying to resend other documents when you cannot access your account is not easy. Unfortunately, cheap price = cheap company. After only 4 days, I was happy to pay the cancellation fee of £28 on my new car insurance policy to be rid of the pain of QMH..!

This rating is not for the price (which was excellent), or the cover level (which was great), or the claim process (I never had to make one). This rating is due to the appalling customer service upon renewal. I got a renewal quote of £241 and an offer to "click here to renew", which I did. Whilst on the website, it suggested I could look at another level of cover (from Essentials, to Essentials Plus), and showed only about £12 difference. I click on that option to buy it, but when on the payment page it actually put the policy at over £350! So I thought fine, I'll go back to Essentials level, but that came out at £331. I contacted customer service, and this is where you find out why Quote me Happy as so cheap, because you CAN NOT call them, only use an automated bot chat (which can't answer anything more complex than simple FAQ's), or email. When I emailed them what happened, they simply replied because I'd made a change (I hadn't) a new price is generated. When I explained all I did was what their own website suggests, and look at better cover, they told me once the system has generated a new quote, the old renewal quote is invalid (this is not mentioned ANYWHERE on the renewal email, or the website that I could find). The emails you get from them, are generic, impersonal and simply tell you they won't change and have a nice day. I asked to complain, but was told I'd get a response in 5-10 days....which of course I did not. So, obviously I have gone elsewhere, but my warning to everyone is simply that if you never need to interact with them, and want the cheapest quote, then it's fine. Just bear in mind, for a few extra quid you can probably go with someone who at least will give you a phone number and may make more sense and be better value in the long run. I'd HATE to imagine what they'd be like if you ever need to dispute a claim......nightmare.

Terrible service......... Couldn't log on/wouldn't let me renew password sent all time back to logon. Claims line only and this is automated. Everything online refers back to pre-set answers which didn't solve my issue. Tried to contact them regarding renewal but impossible as couldn't log on/reset password using their system. Time passed trying to get hold of them, sent an email, no response....Now threatening me to pay next years premium .... you must be joking.... 1) beause I can't log on to discuss/address!!!! 2) after all the problems don't want to insure with them again... EVER

Wow, presumably QMH are regulated by the FCA? I shall be calling tomorrow to see how I go about mounting a case against QMH for misleading the general public with false promises and unrealistic expectations of their clients. This is appalling considering all I wish to do is login to check the policy cover level before I renew... I shall not be renewing with QMH after this nonsense however...
