So far not so good. I've been insured with Sheila's Wheels for a number of years and have not had an accident for about 25 years so they have collected a lot of money from me. Sadly I had a small accident on Thursday. It's now Monday evening and my car still hasn't been collected to be assessed. No courtesy car until it has been assessed and then 2 more days for Sheila's Wheels to decide if they are going to fix it or not - and the car hasn't even been picked up yet. I feel really bad about the accident so the temptation is not to complain, until I remember how much money they have taken from me over the years. I will keep you posted as to how this progresses.

I have been a customer with Sheila's wheels for a number of years for my car insurance. I recently received a quote to renew and it was £227. I decided to go on compare and found the same insurance with Sheila's wheels for £199. I filled in all of the questions and paid by card. I telephoned them just to make sure all went threw ok on 11/3/2017 at 13:19 and was on hold for most of the 32 minutes.

I have been insured with them for only 2 months and was hit by another driver who has taken full responsibility for the incident. Sheila's wheels have been unhelpfully to say the least. In addition whilst on the phone there system crashrd loosing all the details of my claim. And even the fact that o have a policy with then. Nightmare company avoid at all costs!!

If I could give 0 stars I would! This company literally angers me! I've been driving for 9 years and got a really good easy insurers. My wife got insured with this company and things went downhill from day 1. They ask for way too much! Picture of driving license, proof of address, etc, etc,etc. They try get as much money from you as possible. And if you mess up in anyway through the process they find charges left right and centre to bill you with. In the end we had to cancel because they are robbing money, had to pay a cancellation fee. And after all that they are still harassing us even with debt collectors now because THEY under calculated how much charges we had to pay them and now they expect another £68 for What!!! I have never written a review but this company have angered me so much they deserve it! If anyone reads this and is looking for insurance with this company I strongly advice not to unless you want money taken off you!

Kept hanging on phone for forty minutes at a time. I phoned to say I'd had minor damage repaired (which I paid for) then I got an incomprehensible email saying I need to send my no claims in order to remain insured. They tell you to go on live chat. What live chat?

Wanted to discuss renewal, take the final option on phone press one, two or three and get cut off. Try to phone complaints and no- one answers. Have been with the company for years, staff are great buni ut if there are not enough staff to take calls that's frustrating. Took my business elsewhere. Now will struggle to get proof of no claims.

So hard to get hold off, average wait time is 20 minutes and I've had to make multiple calls as they do not seem willing to contact me with an update about my non fault claim. When you do get through to someone they transfer you over to another department but the call cuts off or an automated message tells you the number is no longer in use and cuts off. So frustrating, the staff however, when you do speak to them are helpful just a shame customers are often very disgruntled after waiting so long to get through!

I dont really do this but I dont want it to happen to someone else. For my first car Corsa 2013 model this company gave me a quote of £2,673 so I've went with it annual and got the box installed. Everything was going fine until the 3rd month came where they calculate your score and if you get below average they charge "additional fee". They've sent me an email about how my score was below average and I had to pay an additional fee. which the fee was not mentioned at all so I rang them up expecting additional fee to be around 1k. I asked her how much it was she told me £3500 I literally lost the plot. I had to cancel my insurance they charged me cancellation fee and gave me return of £1600 for that 3 months of driving.

this company tried to up sell me loads of add ins which I did not want, six days after I took out the policy and paid (in full) they emailed to say they were cancelling my policy. Quick enough to take my money though.

Have been trying to contact by phone for a couple of days to cancel my car insurance, always in a que that is never ending. When you try to call about 7.30 you get an automated message saying we probably won't be able to answer your call tonight as we are closing shortly. When is a good time to call? Easy to contact when taking out policy.

They asked me for proof of no claims discount which I posted but they claim they haven't received it. They've threatened by text to say they're going to cancel my policy unless I send it. (I've paid in full btw) I've been on hold now for 15 minutes trying to speak to someone about it. Not acceptable. They can threaten you by text for documentation they've already had, but you cant ring them to sort it out. I wont be using them again.

They wanted £50 to cancel police two days before it would have expired anyway, total rip off and we won't be using them again.

The worst car insurance company I have come across! I needed to change my vehicle details and I spent over 45 mins on 3 separate occasions and still the phone was not answered! Will be cancelling if this does not get sorted and they'll be lucky if they can think they will charge me an admin fee!

set upinsurance on line they took immediate payment. then got two snotty letters from esure aking for proof of address v5 doc and no claims on present car and insurer . Poor service badly written letter made to deel like criminasl we are 49 and simply wanted cover for another car. avoid you get what you pay for .
