Geeks on Wheels are a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome computers and help solve your computer problems. We have staff based in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have have spent more than a decade assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of computer repair and malware removal, so you can enjoy your laptop or computer as you are meant to.

We have a genuine, customer service-based philosophy, delivering the experience and expertise you should expect from a team that have been visiting Kiwi homes since 2005.

“Fantastic service, Dean was highly knowledgeable as well as straightforward and thoroughly honest. Went the extra mile trying to repair our old machine and set up our new one to operate easily and automatically backup.”

“I'm sorry I have not had such a good run with GOW lately. When my new computer was delivered it did not have virus protection even though I had been sold virus protection for my old computer and my licence was still current. I had to point this out. Another technician was told this and commented that virus protection wasn't everything because of phishing; this remark was unprofessional and deeply insulting to my intelligence. The same technician did not connect my printer, which I discovered too late.”

“Geeks on Wheels, especially Tim, were fabulous in dealing with our misbehaving computers. We really appreciated the ability to book a time quickly after our computers played up, the communication with us was excellent, and the work on the two computers fantastic - they are now running really well and we much better understand how some key aspects of the power, memory and storage work. We have used Geeks on Wheels several times and the service has always been amazing.”

“I am pleased with the outcome after too long tolerating a faulty computer. Geeks on Wheels swopped out my computer's hard drive and the spinning wheel of death is no longer haunting me. There was a minor setting modification requiring a return visit. Speedy service, solutions, and super convenient with house visits.”

“I felt pushed around and overcharged. I did not want an antivirus but he talked me into it by threatening that I might get hacked. I'm an elderly lady and I ended up paying a lot more money than what I had expected. The cost should be discussed upfront as they surely could give a rough estimate (at least tell the hourly rate).”

Whilst we believe antivirus is very important to have to protect you in the online world, we definitely don't think you should feel pushed into something that you don't want, and you definitely shouldn't feel threatened.
