About Geeks on Wheels:

Geeks on Wheels is a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome technology and help solve your computer problems.

We have staff based across New Zealand in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Ashburton, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have spent over two decades assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of tech repair, malware removal and everything in between, so you can enjoy your laptop, computer, smart TV, Wi-Fi network and other technology, exactly as you are meant to.

“My contact was with Geeks on Wheels in Whetstone. My laptop was old, tired and slow. Falco came and suggested a recon, with additional storage. I was quite psyched up to buy a new laptop. The advice was really good and the whole package was really affordable - probably half of what I guess I was expecting to pay. There was no hard sell at all for anything. Subsequent backup has been helpful and friendly.”

“My father, who is in his late 70s, had Geeks on Wheels come to his home to service his Lenovo desktop computer. Before the visit, the computer was working well. During the service, my father watched the technician restart the computer twice while a system update was still in progress. Following the service, the computer became extremely slow, regularly freezes and began closing applications unexpectedly. The technician then spent additional time trying to rectify the problem, and my father was charged for an extra hour of labour. Despite this additional cost, the computer was returned in a much worse condition than it was before the service. The computer was purchased in 2022 and still has around 90% of its storage available, so these issues only began after the technician’s work. As a family, we are extremely disappointed. My father paid for professional assistance expecting his computer to be properly serviced, not returned in a significantly worse state. We are also concerned that he was charged extra to try to fix problems that arose during the service. Given his age, this experience has left us feeling that he was not treated as fairly as he should have been. We hope Geeks on Wheels will review this matter and ensure future customers, particularly older people who rely on professional advice and assistance, receive the standard of service they deserve.”

“Angus was great to deal with and had an extremely high level of knowledge re my laptop, iPhone and iPad, and how they interacted etc. He translated techy language for me and thankfully did any jobs that showed up as he worked through my list. The only reason I gave a 4 star rather than 5 was to do with the Geeks on Wheels booking times being so flexible - while I can absolutely appreciate why this is due to the varied length of time each job can end up taking it's a bit of a pain not to have a more specific time. Not enough for me to go elsewhere and I would use you again, ideally with Angus, in future.”
