Geeks on Wheels is a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome technology and help solve your computer problems.

We have staff based across New Zealand in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Ashburton, Dunedin and Invercargill.

“Rob C arrived and set up laptop to a new printer, transferred data off Microsoft Surface, set up email etc, explained everything clearly. He was most pleasant to deal with having been recommended by friends and I will be pleased to recommend his services to anyone else. Many thanks Rob.”

“The guy who came out to set up internet was very competent at doing the work and very helpful and courteous as Im not all that computer savvy,he spent extra time setting up everthing I had that was conected to wifi,would highly recommend him to sort any other problems I may get in the future.”

“I’m very disappointed with my experience with Geeks on Wheels for a Starlink installation. Firstly, the technician who came to my house was friendly and polite, and I genuinely felt sorry for him because he seemed to have been put in a very difficult position. He told me he had never installed Starlink before and appeared to have been thrown into the job without proper preparation. To make matters worse, he arrived without the appropriate tools and actually had to borrow my own tools to complete parts of the work. I cannot understand how a company sends someone out to perform a specialist installation without proper equipment or experience. During the installation I was also told that the cable could not be routed properly into the house and is now running loosely and through a window because I was apparently supposed to pre-purchase a cable routing kit. The problem is: nobody mentioned this requirement when I booked the service. If additional equipment is needed to complete the installation properly, customers should be told beforehand. The final result is a job that looks unfinished and poorly completed, yet I was charged $380 for it. I understand that everyone has to learn, and this is not criticism of the technician himself. My frustration is with the company for sending someone out without training, tools, or proper preparation and then charging full price for incomplete work. If Geeks on Wheels cannot provide a complete Starlink installation service, they should not be advertising it as one.”

“Frustration set n when I couldnt connect my new printer to my laptop. After 2 days and many wasted hours Jack arrived and completed the job in about 35 mins. Amazing. He did say noone makes the setups easy that made me feel much better..”

“Nate came today to help me sort out a p esky problem beyond my small ability to fix - the way Windows highjacks your files and switches them from Dropbox to One Drive without asking permission and loses some of them in the process! He was fast, efficient, helpful and generally a delight to work with. Thank You Nate and Geeks On Wheels...!”
