About Geeks on Wheels:

Geeks on Wheels is a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome technology and help solve your computer problems.

We have staff based across New Zealand in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Ashburton, Dunedin and Invercargill.

“I was very impressed with the knowledge and work done on both my computers. Mr. Vivek Pai did a great job diagnosing the problems and fixing them all quickly and efficiently and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who needs work done on their computer in Invercargill.”

“Steven did a great job for us in coupling our 2 lap tops plus 2 phones. We are delighted to have the new printer loaded. If I had tried to do that myself I would have been totally frustrated and wasted hours of time.”

“This was a challenging situation and Jessee worked his way through the various issues methodically until he arrived at the best solution. I was impressed that he was comfortable using online resources to assist his research, rather than taking a 'hit & miss' approach. I liked that Jessee worked his way from the cheapest and easiest solution first, testing it thoroughly and finding that it did not function satisfactorily, before finding a more complex solution that worked very well. The result was outstanding and I am really happy with his service. It may not be politically correct, but having somebody with English as a first language makes communication so much easier.”

“Employed to do a Malware scan but spent most of the high labour rate just typing his report also spent time uninstalling some items not asked for had to reinstall what I wanted left a free malware software on my laptop which interfered with other things I did not want rather and expensive exercise which I would not do again”

Hi Alan, Thank you for your feedback. We are often called out for post-scam appointments like yours, and banks are usually very specific about what needs to be done and documented before they will unlock your bank accounts. It looks like your technician did a thorough checkup on your computer and removed various issues and viruses. He should have tidied up after himself and either provided you with a paid version of the antivirus to prevent reinfection or removed the antivirus tool he used for cleanup, so we apologise that he left it behind and it caused you issues. If you would like to discuss your appointment further, please don't hesitate to call our 0800 number and ask to speak to one of our managers.

“A massive thank you to Brandon and Santana, two exceptionally polite young men who installed a big screen smart TV at my home in Lower Hutt, Wellington. They were patient and understanding as I worked out the best place in my lounge to position the TV, and then when some of my antiquated technology attached to the old TV was not being recognized by the "smartness" of the smart TV, they worked tirelessly to get the system to work, staying to 5.45 pm to get the Sky box working. Staying well past their knock off time is not something you often see these days. It felt good to see how helpful our younger generation can be. Oh, by the way, the TV is great, but the fact I could sit down and enjoy it was down to Brandon and Santana. Truly grateful.”

“I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Geeks on Wheels team. After contacting several other companies who were unable to help with setting up my broadband, Anthony C came to my home and had everything sorted and working within half an hour. “Jessee responded to our computer issues after being scammed this morning. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and he suggested we move to Malwarebytes for computer protection, which we have done. My wife and I were very pleased with the outcome of his visit, and we will contact G on W in future, as we have done previously.”
