About Geeks on Wheels:

Geeks on Wheels is a mobile computer support and repair task force. We travel to your home or office to fix troublesome technology and help solve your computer problems.

We have staff based across New Zealand in Auckland, Hamilton, Cambridge, Tauranga, Rotorua, Taupō, Hawke's Bay, New Plymouth, Kapiti Coast, Wellington, Palmerston North, Nelson, Christchurch, Ashburton, Dunedin and Invercargill.

Here at Geeks on Wheels, we have spent over two decades assisting New Zealanders with their IT needs – we take the stress and frustration out of tech repair, malware removal and everything in between, so you can enjoy your laptop, computer, smart TV, Wi-Fi network and other technology, exactly as you are meant to.

“Jacob from Geeks on Wheels came to my home about four times over a four month period to help me streamline our sound equipment, photographic equipment and computer equipment. He identified every piece of equipment immediately and knew if it was useful or outdated. Things that were useless he took away to be safely recycled or disposed of. What remained, he told me how best to use it. The result of Jacob's visits and help are that I got rid of a lot of equipment that no longer serves any purpose and I understand how to use the equipment I am left with. I also got a mini lesson on how to get more out of the computer I'm using. I feel that the rate charged per hour is reasonable for the invaluable help I received. Jacob was punctual and efficient, and mindful of the cost to the customer. He was also a very chill young man who was easy to get along with. Thank you very much Jacob!”

“Approachable and got the job done. I note the job was 1 hr and 2 minutes -2minutes really?? Would like to know what the extra cost was for going over 1 hour? I feel there was more chit chat than was necessary and that the job was a less than an hour job, if there had been less chat and more focus on the job. Questions were asked and when an answer was given re the camera on the tree, the conversation was continued twice when we had to decided to leave that job for now.Time wasting! While the report was detailed the actual task did not require even an hour if there had been more focus and less chit chat.”

After the first hour, we charge in 15-minute increments, rounding to the nearest quarter hour. For your 1-hour-and-2-minute appointment, your labour charge was just the 1-hour minimum. Our technicians try to give you the most value for money in their shorter appointments by having complete conversations and providing useful insight into your technology needs. I apologise if this came across as time-wasting on this occasion. Rest assured, you were charged nothing additional for this chit-chat.

“OUTSTANDING & SOME!! First time using Geeks On Wheels and Honestly... From the first live chat message, to having a booking. (Very fast response with no hiccups, lovely people fullstop) The task I had was executed with precision! The bro Loftus helped me with Everything I needed to help set up my brand new Gaming PC, Loftus also gave me advice and explained things clearly along the way so I would understand what's what etc. Dude was Osome man! Gives the same vibes as your typical mates, friendly, kind, genuine and feels like he takes pride in his work. Man even asked me if he should take his shoes off before entering our home, that's Mad Respect! Especially for someone like me and where i come from, (the cherry on top) I'd HGHLY Recommend Geeks On Wheels! & Yup, I'm glad I had the chance to have them help me out!
