Yeah I will never get a so called free phone again you guys have taken my information an gave me a phone that don't work I can't make calls because I have no data like wtf is that about like this is crazy

I called the attorney general office here in Indiana. They said they have had many complaints against gen mobile an r prepared to file law suite against the company for false advertising

They give junky phones to you and you have to factory reset every week and the data don't work like it's supposed too this is a bad company to get a government phone thru and when you get a replacement phone they don't sent you one out they want you to send the phone back so your without a phone for weeks that makes it very inconvenient and it the only company that does that I recommend assurance wireless for service if you are searching and looking at reviews first

Gen Mobile provides phone service through the Lifeline program. Unfortunately, the Affordable Connectivity Program is no longer funded. Customers eligible for free service may receive a free Android smartphone. If a phone is defective, we will work to replace the phone based on our replacement policy.

My Gen Mobile phone number was 5136685081 but at this present this phone has been not activate by Gen Mobile company or customer service of Gen mobile phone company. I called many times to Gen Mobile phone customer service but due to my deafness problems and English Language problem I didn’t get success to speak with the customer service of Gen Mobile phone company. Mr Keshav Acherya was a main provider who provided me to get this Gen mobile freely as per my updated application and documentations. Now I have problems that I have hearing problems and I don’t have perfect English language also. But I like to get back my free phone services from the Gen Mobile phone company.

They are a very bad company. I called them to cancel my phone line because my phone was stolen. They told me that the line would be canceled within 24 hours. 36 hours later and the phone is not canceled. Someone is using the phone that is in my name with my personal information and the phone line still is not canceled

I paid 80 dollars for a phone the representative said was free. She also stated it was the latest version, she lied it was two versions behind. It just updated to Android 12 today. I want my hard earned money back. If I knew that it was actually a generic phone I would've NEVER gave my personal information out. This company is a scam. The phones are no real, They don't have the latest technology, and they lie about being free phones.

Gen Mobile offers phone service through the Affordable Connectivity Program(ACP), the Lifeline Program and prepaid service. Customers who qualify for ACP may be eligible to receive a free smartphone. Customers also have the option to purchase an upgraded device when they sign up. Available upgrade and free devices vary and customers are not obligated to purchase an upgrade to sign up. They told me I get paid $22 today to switch my plan to prepaid so I'm thinking okay I can get more data today but then I was told that my plan won't be effective until June 2nd so you want me to give you my money and wait a whole month to use my phone where they do that Jen mobile this phone company is a scam all they want is your money the customer service is terrible and someone should sue them no wonder the government took the ACP away from them please boycott this company and stop selling these cheap ass phones and low income neighborhoods

Gen Mobile is currently providing customers free service through the Affordable Connectivity Program. Unfortunately, due to ACP funding being cut, customers will not receive free ACP service after the May billing cycle. So customers do not have their service disconnected, we can have customers make a payment before the service ends. If you need help with your account or service, please contact our customer support team by dialing 611 from your Gen Mobile phone.

Gen Mobile refused to put my Lifeline benefit on the phone I got from them through the ACP program which is coming to a close June 1st 2024.

Currently Gen Mobile offers Lifeline service in 26 states. If you have ACP service, you can apply to opt-in to our Lifeline service and transfer your benefit to Gen Mobile. Visit acp.genmobile.com/Lifeline to see if you are eligible to enroll.

This company states they provide free internet service. I do not have internet on my phone. I paid the activation fee and I qualified. Spoke to a supervisor and she wasn't very helpful. Someone needs to report them fir false advertising l.

We offer plans with free data through the Affordable Connectivity Program and want to make sure you can use your service. If you are having issues with your data, our customer care team can help troubleshoot. Trying to cancel the ACP, the cancellation dept is asking irrelevant questions like who did I call or text last. I just want to cancel I've given them all information relevant to my account. Was not able to cancel, I was given ACP number by the representative. When I phoned ACP I was told that they can't deactivate my account only Genmoble can. Don't know why I'm getting the run around and being asked for some else's personal information

For security all ACP customers need to verify their account to cancel. If you are looking to switch providers, you do not need to cancel and can transfer your benefit to another provider anytime.

They took my information, told me it was inaccurate, then their sales rep sold it on the street. The bottom line is, they're stealing YOUR benefits. Do your business with them online.

THEY ARE SCAM I PAID MY BILL OF $20 AND HAVENT RECEIVED MY DATA AND I CONTACTED A CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND THEY ARGUED WITH ME AND SAYING I HAVE USED MY DATA AND I DIDNT AND IVE BEEN WITH SERVICE FOR A WEEK THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND A INCONVENIENCE. IVE BEEN ON HOLD WAITING FOR A CUSTOMER CARE REP FOR 20 MINS NOW TO RESOLVE MY ISSUE

Total bait an switch tactics: as I was told that the phone an services were free so "I said okay kool let me go into the store" as I returned to their table setup outside the store, the two sales person completely ignored me while desperately waiting on another customer then tell me that the phone cost $25.00 dollars and the other one has limited services🤔 now none of that was spoken upon even before I asked is the phone an services are free. It left me with a uneasy feeling as if I'm being deceived.

ACP plans are free to qualified customers and come with unlimited talk, text, and 7GBs of data. If eligible, you can get a free Android smartphone. Some agents also offer upgraded higher quality phones that are sold for a small upgrade fee.
