Won’t respond to email, online chart service doesn’t work, won’t respond to Instagram dms, won’t answer your calls. A terrible, terrible, terrible company. This company will take your money and run. It is a scam and I am disgusted.

Terrible Terrible Service!!! Took 13 days to finally receive my phones after having to email them a few times but they sure took my money right away.. Now.. Ive been calling for over 2 hours to activate them and no one answers. Their chat does not work and emails take awhile for them to get back to you. I keep calling and wait for awhile and hang up and call right back and still nothing. And they have really crappy music playing while on hold. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! Doesnt seem like a good company!!

I'm fed up with this company. I came to the USA for an IMPORTANT reason to which I NEED a US phone number. I was told this was the best provider and oh- I WAS FOOLED. I have paid for special shipping in order to receive it in 3 DAYS-4 DAYS. IT'S BEEN OVER A WEEK- IT'S IN CALIFORNIA for partial shipping. I'M IN MISSISSIPPI. What a joke. I have asked for my special delivery to be refunded and an update on my order- they haven't replied. My friend is also in the US with me and we are currently on customer service and have been on hold for so long with the most irritating music. She has also had trouble with the delivery and activation of her sim card. We desperately need our US numbers for work. It's affecting our clients. What would happen if there was an emergency? Pick up and sort it out.

Moved to the US from the UK as a young 20 something girl who has never travelled all this way on my own before - desperately needed a phone to be able to call home, call for services out here, and just generally have a working mobile phone that can use should I be in an emergency or in any other need. Two weeks later - yes, two whole weeks - I receive my sim card. So I go online to be able to chat and activate it - well, guess what! Their online chat function does not work. Okay, so ill try put the sim card in and see if I can phone GenMobile to activate it - guess again! I can't make any calls so i cannot activate it! Waiting currently to hear back from the email support team to see if it can be activated there but very disappointed. Shame on you GenMobile for marketing yourself as a provider that cares about its customers, especially those who have travelled from other countries to the US, and letting them down like this. Will never, ever, purchase again from here and will be warning friends who wish to travel to the US.

Ive called customer service THREE times and have not been able to reach ANYONE! The first time i choose "receive a call back when its your turn" ...i never received a call. The next time i sat waiting for 38 minutes and NOTHING. The third time which was today i waited a total of 1 hour and 12 min before i hung up. Im trying to get in touch with them to let them know it wouldn't let me choose the "bring your own phone" option...it just wouldn't allow me to press the button on the page. The phone they sent me is SO messed up. The speaker is messed up so if you want to use social media you cant hear ANY videos nor turn your phone on speaker phone when your on the phone.... Next problem is you have to keep it on the charger almost all the time. When you take it off the charger it goes dead within a hour and on top of that it freezes ALL the time and you have to take the battery out and turn it back on. PLEASE SOMEONE ANSWER MY CALLS OR CALL ME! I dont want to put my number on a REVIEW but my email is rebeccagarbler@gmail.com . This is ridiculous.

Worst cell phone provider ever. Will not at all answer phone to service their customers at all. Also will not return a call. I simply want to find out how to get more data and no one will answer or return call now for over two weeks

Current now condition is very poor. If there is any option for negative marking, definitely I would give that.

I was sent a phone without a SIM card not in box nor in phone. Customer service sucks. Customer service rep was useless to me. They refuse to assist me with my problem. Tell me there was a SIM card sent there wasn't. I don't recommend this company at all.

Ordered two phones and two plans. received one phone. said it would take another week or so to get second phone. Seriously? Then tried to activate 1st phone, no sim card which was supposed to have been installed. Now waiting for credit on one phone and two plans. their back office is terrible. long delays, can't verify anything. Comedy of errors.

Terrible customer service. Can't even say if and when a shipment was actually shipped. USPS says waiting for package and that was a week ago. Not even willing to call USPS to find out status. I paid for expedited shipping. Very disappointing.

Worst service ever!!! Paid for 3 months of the $15 service that include international plan. Two months service has been down. Called about every 2 day for update. Get same answer every time, still working on the problem. Was promise refund for a month and no refund yet. Like to talk to the highest person at the company. Going to report to the BBB

Update. Still no refund. I ended up with another carrier. Number ported out. Now they are telling me That My account and auto pay is still set up and my phone was still under them. WHAT !!! It was ported out to new service. These people are nuts to deal with.always wait and we are escalating . Or some one will call you back. NEVER DO >TERRIBLE SERVICE. BEWARE !!!!

AGGRAVATING!!!!Already a Gen Mobile customer . I needed a new phone. Checked compatibility before purchase . Ordered new Sim card. Wanted to Port old number. I thought it would or shpuld be a seamless transfer. WRONG! Already no service for over 2 days, Phone not recognizing the Sim card. Keep telling me to remove card. Reboot . Try this and that already for 2nd ,3rd, and 4th times Now I am told I need to wait another 2 days for them to continue to trouble shoot. Other carriers you can walk in to their store and walk out with a working phone . SO WHAT TAKES 4 DAYS ?? Mean while I am cut off from calls and receiving important calls I was expecting. I encountered a multitute of issues when I transferred to Gen Mobile 2 years ago for over 3 days. They really need to fix these transferring issues .

I was satisfied with GenMobile until I needed technical support and they just didn't perform. I have been waiting over a week for a phone number transfer and am still waiting. Totally unacceptable. I would not recommend GenMobile because they don't take care of their customers.

bad customer service, agents do not have sufficient knowledge of of the job. They hang up on you when you ask a question they do not have an answer or do not know. Your credits disappear without an explanation, what's goin on?

I purchased a plan in good faith and worked with support for weeks trying to have my data setup. This was unacceptable as I changed carriers and they had me up and running just as promised. The problem continued as I was to get a refund as my service was incomplete and the account was opened on 12/27/20 and after many phone conversations today 02/01 21 as I was on the line with customer support suddenly the refund was posted as pending back into my bank account. This is very poor service and there are many carriers to choose to do business with I will spread the word as to the treatment I received. Thanks for nothing as the company does not deserve 1 star and should be closed down.

I have been waiting on a refund for 2 months. There is always some kind of issue when I tried to refill my plan each month.
