Customer service had me on the phone for 2 hours and still didnt solve my problem i had.. I paid my bill on April 30th today is May 18 i cant receive calls but i can make calls. This is a problem that i have had for over a8 days and theres nothing Gen Mobile customer service can do..This service SUCKS

My mother brought a phone for 75 dollars and the phone never worked !I called them to let them know and they claimed oh “we're going to send you a sim cards .” I never received a sim card and i called at least 5 time for this “sim card” everytime they would say they don't see one order in the system. Terrible company, the customer service definitely needs some work and I want my moms money back .

Unfortunately I could not give you zero stars . Worst company I've dealt with in a long time. I would like to write more but they have wasted enough of my time. Stay away!!!!

Was on my phone with my son when my call got dropped. Every time I tried to call back it would take me to customer service no matter what number I called. When speaking to a representative i was informed that my phone usage was over the 120% use. I asked how is it over when it's paid for unlimited call and text, and how can they define what is normal use on unlimited call and text? Never got a straight answer. I use my phone to call my children all the time and never had a problem with any other service. They are not truly unlimited and it's false advertising if there is a hidden factor of how much you can use the service. Worse service ever.

This company no good scam artist.Took my money never sent two Sim card the first Sim lasted 6hrs. The second one never came then tell me they can't refund my money DON'T use this company NEVER!!

I went to a Gen mobile tent in downtown Jacksonville, FL, right by the DMV office. There was a guy named Jeffery and James helping me sign up for the phone that I wanted but was not able to get because it was so late in the day. The last piece of information that I needed was a W2 which was easy to get but I needed it sent from my employer. The process was taking a while and Jeffery seemed to be getting frustrated. There are a lot of people in town that know my family and wanted a phone there. Jeffery seemed to want to make friends with them by listening to them, letting them tell him what to say as well as making smart remarks to sign people up. As I was walking away I heard Jeffery make racist remarks as well as slander my name. His words as far as slander were, "Get out of here and go rape babies...". This was disheartening seeing as how our conversation started off as a pleasant one. James seemed to be level-headed and calm the whole time as he stood while Jeffery sat in a chair in the shade under the tent they were at.

They are the worst when it comes to customer service you get people that are overseas that you can't even understand they have you do unnecessary things to try to update your phone and then when you turn around and request a supervisor you're on hold forever they really need to improve their services they also gave me a phone that's defective and now that T-Mobile had their outage I'm having issues with my phone and it requested numerous times for a call back or an email so I can't even make calls or receive calls they seem to ignore you that is poor customer service

On Dec. 14, 2022, I had a reg. and a Gov. cell phone, and, on this day, they both went out of service. Later this day, I went to get a GenMobile cell phone which I thought would have cancelled out the other Gov. cell phone as I was told I qualified for a new cell phone and tablet, for which I pd. $60.00 cash, as I was not told such when purchased that this phone did not come with an adapter, which I then had to purchase costing $18.58 at Walmart. On Dec. 25, 2022, the GenMobile services were then disconnected as I am told the service I had was through the Lifeline Program, and how I could not have 2 services at the same time, through the Affordable Cares Program. The Agent that sold me the phone, gave me her name and phone number, saying that I could call if I had any questions, and every time called, it has a recording saying this number is not available and the mailbox is full. I have contacted GenMobile requesting a refund and was denied stating, they do not do refunds and how I need to contact the Agent, and they were not able to give me any additional contact information for the Agent. I now see there are many negative reviews and complaints about GenMobile and their services as this agent did say they have been active in MO since Sept. 2022. Today, I made 4-phone calls to GenMobile requesting a refund and 3-times the phone was disconnected after I was put on hold after requesting a refund. I am requesting a refund in full and a thorough investigation into this matter and perhaps should consider a possible class action lawsuit.

I bought a phone through Genmobile several years ago. This past summer, with no notice to me they cancelled my account. When I tried to renew they sent a new SIM, which would not work (invalid sim). We found that though Genmobile provided the phone when I opened my account, the phone was locked for use with a Sprint sim only. Called Sprint as Genmobile directed, and was told they could not verify ownership of the phone and therefore could not unlock it. So, the phone is basically a brick. After several hours of talking to Gen and Sprint, Genmobile refused to take any responsibility for the error or assist in any meaningful way, as the tech's "supervisor" would not even take the time to discuss the issue with me. I cancelled the account and went elsewhere. When I had the account and it worked the service was spotty, with a lot of dead zones in rural areas.

I think Gen Mobile is fake Company! The Internet or Cellular data l have on my phone (account) , even when I’m not using data or it’s off steel they charge me! Data usage no matter what is going up!

Worst service provider yet, the phone they send is so cheap and outdated it only gets 3g service. And the data is super slow from day 1. Very very disappointed

I had my gen mobile home for sometime I called a lot of times to get a new phone because the phone DON'T KEEP A CHARGE I can plug this phone up to 100 percent in 45 minutes it's dead this is a very cheap phone I ask them to send me a new phone they want me to send this phone before they can send a new one so I'm going to be without a phone for 2 weeks so I said forget it I'm reporting them they are awful I am not recommending them to no One not even my worst enemy.

Im telling you these people are correct about the terrible over seas lack of anything close to customer service. I've had people use profane language, giggle, hangup, and much more. This place should not be in the business of helping people at all. My phone has a camera but it went out weeks after getting it. It works when it wants to. Meaning sometimes it rings when a person is trying to reach me other times it will not and go straight to VM with no notification when new texts or messages are available. Ive called customer service which is the Philippines and they have no answers or ideas on how to get me a proper phone. Its like they don't care. Sounds like another company that took the large amount of grants and funding from US politicians to supply the West with cheap to free mobile communications and they ran! I have now been stuck with this piece of junk phone for 9 months. Today I took steps to switch companies and I do have a phone on the way. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

I was approved on dec 9, 2022 ( today's date is Dec 17, 2022) & still have not been able to speak with one single person from GEN MOBILE to inquire why I have not yet received my phone that they offered when I applied through the AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM I keep getting the run around with different numbers to call & then I receive a message stating that my phone had already been shipped by UPS so I just called UPS with the tracking number they sent me & UPS tells me that it was delivered by our local US POSTAL SERVICE on Dec 9, 2022!!?? This whole deal is starting to feel like a definite SCAM I will report this the FTC first thing Monday morning !
