“Friendly enough staff, but the guy who was supposed to know about speakers was telling me that I'd needed to buy a separate sound unit because the type of speakers I'd bought (studio speakers) wouldn't be able to connect directly into a laptop and made a joke about how I had a huge learning curve to go through when I said that's what I was going to be using them for. I was pretty sure he was wrong, so I made my excuses and left before he sold me any extra equipment, when I got home the speakers plugged in perfectly fine into my MacBook with just a regular RCA cable.”

“Have always been pleased with Georges Cameras, however was very disappointed with one of my latest orders. I Emailed TWICE for an update with NO RESPONSE…after phoning I was told that the order would not be filled this month. Surely someone should have notified me of the delay.”

“Staff are always friendly, knowledgeable when asked or refer you to a colleague who is, which I actually prefer rather than some places where people pretend to be experts. Prices are great, usually the lowest, or if over only by a small margin which I happily pay to deal with a store that I can physically go to and talk to someone. Had a production fault on a battery grip a while back and the replacement process was painfree.”

“Excellent and efficient service. I ordered the lens on Monday 5th December 2022. I called your offices at around 4.30pm Adelaide time and asked the young man if he knew if it had been dispatched. He checked and said that the delivery truck was leaving in about 20 minutes and he would try to organise it to be included before it left. I was thrilled when it was delivered on Wednesday 7th December. Please thank him from me, unfortunately I don't remember his name. Thank you very much R Pearson”

“Terrible service. I bought the 24-70mm MK2 Sony Lens almost a month ago (knew that it was on back order) but waited 2 weeks with no communication of updates. I attempted calling and waited in line.. I was 3rd in line, and when it arrived to be my turn the call ended on me - they had wasted my 30 minutes only to tell me to leave a voicemail of my contact to call back. I tried live chat and was fortunate to have someone to pick up and "Irene" who was helping with the updates. I noticed when I was looking again at the lens I bought, received another discount so I asked her if I was able to be refunded for the difference. It's been almost 2 weeks since she told me the refund would take 5 business days and because I was concerned that this would be an issue I asked if I could get a copy of the live chat but I never did. I only managed to screenshot specifically what she had told me thinking I was going to receive the rest of the live chat but I didn't.”

“Purchased a KUPO 161MB slider stand. Half the cost of a Matthews slider stand (I have three) and the quality is right up there. Georges delivered on cost and delivery. Will be looking to them for more professional film gear in the future.”

“One item (that I was charged for) never arrived, and repeated attempts to query this via this customer support email have been ignored. Even the item that did arrive was over a week late (advertised as "in stock, ships within 1-2 days", eventually shipped over a week later). I've had indifferent experiences attempting to order from them in the past: after this latest experience I would never order from them again.”
