“The bed in incredible - sturdy, elegant and definitely good material. Assembling it was not as easy though, as the instruction were not always clear.”

“Assembly of the headboard for the Kensington bed is unnecessarily time consuming. Why are there not pre-drilled holes in the three panels that make up the board. One week after assembly the feeling of annoyance is there every time I go to bed. I’m sure it will pass but it could easily have been avoided with some predrilled holes!”

“We’ve had the low Tokyo king size bed in cinnamon varnished pine about two weeks and so far it’s been a complete success. Delivery was painless and it was intelligently packaged which made getting it up several floors very easy, and the build quality is excellent and feels built to last.”

“As other reviewers have shared, we had multiple issues with our order relating to the quality of the product. Firstly, the bed arrived with gaps in the finish in several places showing bare wood. When I raised this with customer service they sent a wax stick, which was disappointing given it should be a brand new product with no issues. Several pieces of wood were warped and the end of the bed rattles noticeably. One of the slats had a large hole which had to be replaced. Some sections of the bed had been repaired with a wood filler which is noticeably darker than the wood stain. The headboard has a large dent from a knot which is unsightly. We will not use this company again. Extremely overpriced for the quality of product and customer service extremely poor.”

“We have an unusual mezzanine in our house that literally just has enough space for a double bed and not much else. It creates an incredibly peaceful space though as you can't get a desk or, tv, or much else up there so you are really going to be undisturbed! The space saver bed was exactly what we needed. Not too tall either which was useful as the room has a sloping window. The bed was easy to put together and feels robust and sturdy. I was impressed by the offer of a guarantee as well so I feel safe that I can go back to the company with any queries. Happy to see they used FedEx which I find to be a reliable courier company too.”

“Lovely bed, relatively easy to assemble. Although, some of the images could be a wee not clearer... I missed the wee biscuit things first time around. I only realised because we also got the storage drawers and the instructions for those mentioned them - would be helpful if the instructions had words too. Although I appreciate it was also because I was just ploughing on ahead... The bed is a really good height, we are still waiting for a new mattress, but it looks fab! Seems pretty solid too Delivery was good, came on the day we booked.”

“It arrived on time and had a call from the delivery company 45 minutes before. We was not offered the put together service as it wasn’t covered in our postcode which was disappointing. We couldn’t put the bed up straight away as waited for a skilled friend who is an expert in construction and thank goodness we did. We had 8 boxes and found the instructions in box 8! The instructions could be vastly improved. Three hours later and some parts of it did take four people to hold whilst sections were screwed together. I wouldn’t recommend for diy novices to undertake putting this ottoman style bed together. However, the bed feels sturdy. Some small marks on the wood and a couple of little chips can be seen.”

“Purchased a double bed for my 20 year old son to replace his single bed that I purchased from Get Laid Beds six years ago. The single bed is still as sturdy as it was the day it was purchased so has gone to his sister’s house to be used in her spare bedroom. Absolutely fantastic quality beds that last. Great range of finishes and styles. This one was the coffee bean option. Delivery was good too as I was able to select a Saturday.”

“I’ve never really looked at beds from outside the bigger brands but Im really happy I chose to go with Get Laid Beds for my new one! Im so impressed with the finish and quality, the bed is very solid and was so easy to build. Highly recommend - will definitely buy any future beds from here in future.”

“Did bed show up on day on intended - NO Did bed ahow up with all correct parts for accembly - No Notes : There was a bad storm that delayed delivery and customer service did well resolving the wrong parts in box issue.”

“Great quality, well sanded wood finish, and overall very happy with the look. It seems very solid, albeit squeaky. The slats at about 10cm apart. Few problems putting it together as head and foot board pieces didn't fit/align well in order advised. We made do by spending time swapping bits around to improve fit and avoid gaps at edge of boards. The instructions arrived really wrinkled up, nearly being thrown away as packaging. Son very happy with his new bed though and I'm delighted it didn't give off any annoying smells, which new furniture often does.”
