“Quality of our new bed is superb and it was very easy to put together with the excellent instructions supplied. However, we had booked our delivery costing £25 on an expenditure of £391 to be on the Monday. On the Thursday we had a text from FedEx to say a part delivery (2 of 3 packages)was to take place on Friday! We had to make changes to our plans for that day and then wait again on the Monday for the final package to be delivered. This was to suit your logistics and really spoilt our experience of your company of which you are so proud. Would suggest you deliver all at the agreed time, not part deliveries!”

“We ordered our new bed before Christmas, to ensure that we had it over the holiday period. Once delivered it was clearly wrong given we had 2 different colours. Contacted customer services and they didn't care and said replacements wouldn't be delivered until after christmas so good luck with no bed for 3 weeks. We had to complain multiple times to explain to them that its bad to not have a bed over christmas and eventually they expedited the manufacture so that we would have a bed over christmas. New pieces came, but not all of the required pieces so we still had an incomplete bed. Complained once more, but told we would have to wait until after christmas and no amount of complaints would get the final pieces delivered. Finally got the remaining pieces after christmas, meaning over 5 weeks late with delivery. Complained and got a pathetic £40 refunded. Really terrible service. Nobody there cares. They clearly can sort things quickly (as expected given the story they tell on their website), but choose not to. I understand mistakes can happen and if they had remedied quickly (and at the first attempt) I would be praising their customer service, but no. I would say don't use this company. Its an expensive product, but clearly a poorly run business with very poor quality control”

“Purchase a low oriental white bed. Easy order g and staff helped me to understand the dimensions and what would fit in the space in the bedroom. Bed was delivered on the correct day and placed in room. Very clear instructions for putting together and the overall quality is excellent. It is strong and sturdy and I am extremely happy with the finished product. price was also very competitive. Would highly recommend and purchase again from this company.”

“Showroom experience with Ellie was good and helped determine bed and underbed storage selection. Pleased with quality of oak bed frame. Instructions for self assembly could be clearer and strength needed to insert some of the screws. Luke and Betheny from customer services responded very quickly to query and missing slat was sent out promptly.”

“Ordered online and the bed, as a kit of parts, was delivered on time. Assembly was reasonably straightforward, however the instruction diagrams were quite small, and I needed to re-do a couple of steps to get things the right way up. The machining was not quite as precise as Ikea items,.as some holes needed deepening or opening out to allow the screws to go all the way home. Nevertheless, the finished bed is impressive!”

“I bought a platform space saver bed for a 190 x 135 mattress. Generally ok, but a couple of comments: 1. The how to assemble instruction drawings are wrong. If you follow the 135 wide mattress will not fit. (Shows the correct way as a 'x' and wrong way as a 'tick'.) 2. Insufficient slats for correct spacing for pocket sprung mattress. Needs one more to get gaps below 70mm max. 3. The prefixed support batten for slats on long side makes installing screw difficult to install as can only install at an angle.”
