“This is the 4th bed I buy from them. The previous 3 were ok. Nothing amazing but just a normal simple bed. But this 4th time they made my bed the wrong size, I had to assemble it myself then send them proof in a video and after them accepting the bed was made wrongly and me declaring I want to return it, they won’t even send a team to disassemble it for me. I have to do it myself even tho it wasn’t my fault. Very sad with their decline in customer service over the years.”

We’re truly sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your latest order, especially as you have not had to reach out to customer service in the past for help with a received bed. It’s disappointing to learn that there was an error with the bed size and that our offer to resolve it didn’t meet your expectations. Unfortunately there was an error in understanding what was required for the customisation when speaking with the team. We’re committed to addressing this internally to ensure a better experience for all our customers going forward. Once the error was understood, thanks to your images provided, the option for you to receive the correct parts was offered but you declined and requested a return instead of a resolution. We were unable to return the pervious order received in September 2023 as it was well outside the returns window. However we can accept a return of your recent order. We understand how frustrating it can be to have to handle the disassembly yourself. As you received the bed a flat packed self assembly delivery there would be the need to disassemble it yourself to return it as per the terms and conditions you agreed upon at point of order, this is not something that has changed. “I was looking for a bed that would fit perfectly into the small guest bedroom, and the Low Oriental Bed (Space Saver) from Get Laid Beds turned out to be an excellent choice. Its compact design leaves enough space around the bed for a comfortable and relaxing setup. The quality is outstanding, and the design is both elegant and practical. “The bed itself is ok. I've only given two stars because the instructions are useless. They do not give any dimensions on the position of the hinges and dampers. Because of this the fitting took twice as long as it should have done.”

We understand how disappointing it can be to wait longer than anticipated for your order, especially when it was expected to arrive by a specific date. Standard deliveries outside of the UK mainland are estimated delivery dates only and can take 3-5 working days to arrive from the point of dispatch. “Was so full of anticipation after reading some good reviews. Sadly, this led to an over offering to an under delivery on the bed. My bed came with marks, chips and dents, added to scuffed paintwork. I was only offered £65 on a bed that cost £724 - so I am now waiting a replacement. Not the transaction, quality or service I had hoped for.”

“The bed and mattress are excellent and I couldn’t rate it more highly. The reason for a 4 and should be a 5 if someone built it for me was that the instructions were a little vague and not enough clear pictures with specifics (such as holes in certain places on parts of the bed which other flat pack furniture has) I would have given 5 starts easily if it wasn’t for the instructions. Once Get Laid beds sort this out, I can imagine they will always receive 5 stars”

“Perfect product and service. I chose the low oriental bed so that my dog could get in and out easily without waking me up (obviously! - in my defence photos from other reviews suggest I'm not the only one). I was slightly alarmed when I got my delivery at the number of packages and imagined I'd be ages assembling the bed but it was one of the simplest pieces of furniture I've had to put together. I'm impressed at the quality of the materials and the design. In all the packaging there were only two small plastic bags holding screws, everything else was cardboard. I felt fully updated from order to delivery, no issues or dramas. Top marks all round. The dog loves it....”

“A month in and the bed seems great. We self assembled, but would definitely recommend you pay for them to do it. They estimated 35 mins, it took us over 3 hours of frustration! The instructions were very unclear and had missing sections, would not recommend at all.”

“Bought the Oxford bed as a small double. Straightforward, online ordering with plenty of choice for delivery. Items subsequently delivered nicely on time by friendly, obliging chaps. The bed arrived as all slats/planks of timber so bear in mind that you need to put the headboard and footboard together. Good instructions - lots of screws ! Two pairs of hands useful at times. Tight-fitting joints so a rubber mallet is also useful. Slats taking the mattress are added individually, i.e. not joined together on a roll. Solid bed on completion.”

“Trish in customer support and Brodie and delivery were awesome. We had a hiccup on delivery and between them they sorted it, with a superhuman drive by Brodie. The beds and mattresses are great quality. Building is easy with electric screwdrivers. The instructions could be better but you can work through them. Our beds are without spacer thingies between the headboard planks because they are so small in the instructions we missed them. So get a magnifying glass, electric screwdriver, rubber mallet and you’ll be sorted.”

“The beds are excellent quality. And the company is able to adapt to your needs. But customer attention needs to improve after sales. We needed to change the delivery date and were told that because it was less than 5 days before actual date we would incur a charge. Then after I raised a few questions I realised the delivery company would change the date free of charge. This info was not offered from Get Laid Beds. In addition no customer loyalty incentive or appreciation was given by means of waving a fee ( that wasn't actually Incured anyway) or something else for buying several beds and a headboard . Some companies have really honed their customer care and loyalty - Get Laid Beds would do well to take their lead from these companies”

“Found this company via a Google search for "sturdy real wood bed frames". The name made me smile and the reviews made me buy. Fabolous product. Easy to put together, amazing quality and as sturdy as I'd hoped. Would highly recommend.”
