“Great experience all around from start to finish. Delivery on chosen day and items arrived well packed. The bed is beautiful and both construction and assembly was spot on. Will come back for my next bed.”

“Overall the bed looks good now it's assembled and it seems well made, definitely an upgrade from our previous bed. However the delivery process was frustrating. I placed my order on 1st November and specifically selected delivery for Saturday 30th November. On Friday 29th, the day before my order was supposed to arrive I received a tracking link which said the delivery would come on Monday 2nd instead. I called up and was told nothing could be done about it but that it would arrive on Monday 2nd. I got an email with a delivery window on Sunday 1st evening, confirming my order would arrive in the morning on Monday 2nd. I then received another email on the morning of Monday 2nd saying that my order would not be delivered that day as the courier had not received it yet. In the end my order arrived on Thursday 5th December. The instructions manual could have done with some more steps / information or clearer colour photos. There were some pilot holes drilled on some parts of the bed to help with the assembly, but these were not mentioned in the instructions and were not super obvious. Also the screws received were slightly different to what was listed in the instructions, so it took some working out what should be used.”

“Well made bed, fully out of real wood (no particle board, MDF or OSB). Looks great and I like the option of a bedside shelf, which fits just right. Delivered on time. Only loss of a star is that the bed pieces were *not* marked and although they are nearly symmetrical, several are not quite. If someone doesn't have much self-build experience this could be extremely difficult. The directions also indicated a screwdriver, but you really need a powered one or a drill bit attachment for a cordless drill unless you are extremely strong. This was fine for me, but it may be too much again for people who are expecting more of an IKEA-style kit. However, very happy with the finished product. It looks great and happy to buy from a truly British-made brand. Would recommend to others with the minor caveats above.”

“Not very happy with the quality of wood. Lots of scratches and the black varnish is uneven. The headboard is much darker than the other parts to the bed, so it looks like a poor paint job.”

“Would have been 5 stars but no fixings sent with delivery. Received these next day so thanks for fast response. Bed frame is good and solid. Easy to assemble. Great quallity and finish. For info, needed to drill couple of pilot holes for screws in one of the legs. Not done at factory. Just minor quality control to feed back on. May have caused problem for others.”

“I have been after a certain stlye bed for years, ones without the middle support drop leg! Found them, ordered online, even collected myself. There was a mistake with the design upon build, but this was retified immediatley without hestitation, You could not ask for better! The quality is great, build time is nothing, took 20mins alone. Highly recommend”

“A lovely bed that was very straightforward to put together. You need a good electric screwdriver to make it quick, the under bed drawers are harder to put together but straightforward if you follow the instructions. Very happy with my new bed.”

“Poor. Poor quality instructions. Barely could see photos. Bed stuck in open position. Complained to next. Heard nothing back yet and with Xmas approaching not impressed. This is not our first rodeo with self assembly and my husband is pretty handy but even as a gas fitter he cannot work out how to keep the bed in down position. Help required please !”

Once you receive your mattress from your supplier, place it on the bed frame and then push down on the frame to allow the pistons to work correctly. “Really pleased with the bed and bedside tables. Can't fault the delivery, arrived exactly on time. Quality of the bed and bedside tables is very good - easy to put together and great quality - again really pleased, and wqoudl definitely recommend”

“I've been asked to write a review but couldn't tell you as the bed hasn't arrived despite paying £40 for named day express delivery. One battered box has turned up but not the others. I contacted customer services who were very dismissive, told me the express fee is just for the bed being made and doesn't have anything to do with shipping, and that it wasn't their responsibility basically. So buy at your risk and don't bother with rush shipping - not point getting your bed built quickly only to have it sit in a fedex warehouse getting bashed about.”

“I was really happy wiht the bed, and with teh customer service. Ordering was straightforward, we were kept informed of progress as the bed was made in the workshops, and the delivery was timely. The bed itself seems to be really good quality and well finsihed. Came neatly packed, and my twelve year old daughter assembled it on her own in an hour. Looks lovely!”
