“Got this chef's knife as a gift for two friends who have been cooking with subpar cutlery. They have both mentioned several times how sharp it is and how good it feels in their hand.”

“Sharpest knife I've ever used. Feels great in my hand. I've gotten tiny cuts on my index finger from the opposite end as the point. I didn't expect that to be sharp, too.”

“Great knives for any purpose - they’ll last a lifetime and hold their edges well. They’re not cheap, but can often be found on sale. A dear friend and colleague gave me a Global vegetable knife some eighteen years ago and I’ve been amassing a collection ever since. Warning: They will ruin you for any other knife brand.”

“Got the 40th anniversary set for my birthday! Beautiful craftsmanship. First recipe I made was French onion soup, felt like a superhero chopping 5 lbs of onions into paper thin ribbons.”

“I was given a Global chef knife and paring knife as a gift. I had no idea what a quality knife was like. I cut myself on it many times until I learned to respect it. Now I give it as a gift to people I find out like to cook.”

“Global Knives are the absolute best quality for the money. Forget expensive Euro-knives, and go with what Anthony Bourdain recommended (may he RIP.) After going paying and through several sets of Euro knives I bought Global. My nephew wanted to get knives for his mother and I told him about these. I just bought a set to give to my daughter. Treat them well, keep them sharp and you will not only have them for life, but using them will be eye-opening-these are how knives should work.”
