I thought I had paid for an hour’s reservation for two guys to rearrange furniture. After less than 50 minutes I asked Marlon to slide a mirror less than 5’ he told me I had only requested two items to be moved. I told him I paid for an hour and I still had 10 minutes. He rudely told me he needed to go fix a tire and left. No, Marlon Was not acceptable but his helper was.

Michael rates a solid 5, but there should have been 2 loaders for the reclining sofa

We were told that the service window would be between 12 noon and 4 pm, and that we would be contacted to confirm an ETA. At 3:50 pm no one called so I contacted the person who was assigned and he said it would take him 45 minutes to arrive and that he was doing the job alone. I told him there was no way he could move the 2 pieces by himself, so he said he’d have to get a helper and that it would be 1.5 hours later rather than 45 minutes. Ultimately 3 different people arrived at 4:50 pm and removed the sofa. We were happy with them as they did it quickly and were very professional. I would have given a better review if the 3 did the job within the timeframe and if we had better communication about what was happening. Honestly the lack of communication from the original person assigned to the job and his lack of understanding of the scale of the job affected my review.

The customer service was good but they had given me a window from 8 to 12 but it changed from and I sat all day waiting for them to come. It was an inconvenience because I couldn’t have done some other things with my day. The driver that picked up the article that I had was very pleasant and very professional. They just kept me waiting all day long.

Nice older guys but this was their first job. They came with only a load blanket and no dolly or cart to move furniture. They had to drive about 80 miles one way to do the job, and the primary loader had to find a friend to help him. They worked hard and got the job done but I felt like they were not going to earn what the job turned out to be, so I gave them an extra $100 to help defray their driving expenses and time. I don't think your company is very well organized.

2 hours late after the 4 hour window, and they didn’t call to inform me they were coming, they called when they we’re at front door. They didn’t wear booties or ask if they should wear booties. They track dirt in my house.

The drivers Brooke and Santos were terrific...you should be aware of a very high and strict cancellation Load Up has...in our case we had a medical emergency and they would not move off a 50% cancellation fee so I had to go ahead despite our situation. John

They weren`t that experienced . they did not know how to separate the two beds as far as paring. I had to call the salesman and he told them what to do. Also they didn`t know how to put the head boards on correctly. I had to redo them myself. I blame you though for not training them properly.

My original appointment was for 12 noon. At 12:30 I called to see what...my team was not going to arrive for 6 hours after my original appointment! No warning. I did reschedule for the next day. 8 am appointment turned into 9:50 am. Dont expect prompt service! On the plus side, team did arrive (although late) with extra helpers. Job was completed.

Job completed as requested. The person who came to pick up the items smelled like he hadn't bathed in weeks. I was holding my breath in his presence.

The messages said Anne was the LoadUp agent coming over. But a male showed up. When asked he said Anne had a family emergency. It made us wonder why this was not communicated.

Denise and Todd were extremely pleasant to work with. They arrived on time and were quick loading up the items. They well represented the company and treated me with the respect and courtesy that will have me referring LoadUp to others and using the company again.

The only flaw is that there's no way to know if the donations made it to the charity. Charity unable to confirm, as they have multiple locations.

I would use the service again. I do recommend that you be extremely clear about exactly what you need moved, how heavy the items are, etc. I told I needed help unloading a big truck full of furniture into my home. Hello The first loader they sent me had a helper who was just a kid and not able to help very much. In this case, I had some really heavy items, so they couldn’t complete the job and broke a very expensive piece of artwork in the process. Also damaged a doorframe. Load up customer service was great though. They sent out a team of loaders the next morning that were able to move the items efficiently. Everyone who I encountered was very courteous. It wasn’t a seamless encounter, but I feel like the company really does try to make it right as best as they can.

I get that scheduled times can't be guaranteed, but when the driver doesn't START heading our way until 45 minutes after the 4 hour appointment window and doesn't arrive until 3 and half hours after the 4 hour window, then what is the point of scheduling an appointment window at all?! And to top it off, sending folks that essentially resembled the Beverly Hillbillies all the way from Trenton, NJ to the Poconos is craziness. A middle-aged husband and wife team to fight with some large furniture, God bless their souls they pulled it off, but I am very skeptical that much of the furniture arrived at it destination intact. They arrived with their smallish trailer already half to 2/3 full and had to breakdown some items already on the trailer in our driveway to make room for our things. Also them taking it to Goidwill in Trenton when I had made arrangements with local Savation Army for drop off was a surprise that should have been mentioned prior. I didn't so much care, but others might. Overall did the job, but not the best experience.
