Honestly very poor service. They definitely did the blame game even though they were trying to not do the bling game, but they were trying to blame everyone. They blamed who hired them. They blamed the circumstances and came up with a lot of excuses to try to not take my stuff even though everything was communicated effectively and unfortunately being in California during raining weather is not necessarily something I can control. It was also disclosed that the mattresses were outside. They kept making it sound like they were going to take my box springs which were already mad that they were two of them due to it being a California king so having two twin XL box springs but making it seem like they were not going to take the mattress after all and just leave it the way that it is even though I've already paid for the service. After finally leaving for a short period and coming back with the box springs as they should have just got one out first. They decided to try to put the mattress on top of the box spring but told me I had to help them as though me paying for the service wasn't adequate enough so I had to help them through the rain to try to get this off because they had to do it in one trip. Even though once they did get it to go they ended up dropping it halfway. I waited outside on my porch waiting to see if they would come back if I needed to sign any paperwork and then they just left so I assume they took everything with them. I personally would not hire this company again nor do I really want to work with this company again.

Absolutely the worst service we have ever received. We filled out the appropriate information and even called to confirm the circumstances of the pickup. They sent one individual to load furniture from a second story condo. This was communicated directly with the Company that they would have to go up a flight of stairs. How can one person load furniture under these circumstances? My 75 year old husband had to help him. He has had back surgery and severe back issues. Shame on you!!! A full refund should be given. If my husband has any further issues with his back we will seek out legal counsel to assist in reimbursing us for his pain and suffering. This company is an absolute joke!!!!

While the LoadUp team was friendly and courteous, the install was of poor quality. There were more extra pieces than I've ever seen in my life of putting together furniture, they used the wrong screws in several places causes the screws to puncture the furniture piece and now it's a hazard, the foot bench is missing a hydraulic hinge, the shoe rack is missing some metal trim pieces that add aesthetics and every piece of furniture is wobbly. To make matters worse the customer service team was awful to deal with. I had several pieces that were damaged during shipping (not the crews fault). They finished their work on a Saturday so I called LoadUp on Tuesday assuming they were off Sunday and Monday was just hell for me. I called them to get a refund on those items and they immediately hid behind their Terms and Conditions which require you to contact LoadUp, IN WRITING, within 24 hours about any changes in order to get any sort of refund. They don't send you the T's and C's when you contact them or engage them for their services. Instead you have to scroll all the way to the bottom of their website, find the tiny little link that says "Terms" and then read through all that. I guess it should be expected for some shoddy outfit that operates all online and then hires out to random people locally to do the work. I'm sure they're paying those contractors next to nothing so they can make as much money as possible. I will NEVER use LoadUp again.

Thought I was getting a turn key load out. Load out asked for and received 2 separate batches of photos. Was very clear this will be 2 story house of a hoarder. Needed a FULL clean out. Crew was suppose to arrive on Tuesday 8am till 8 pm. Went thru 3 crews to get this done over a 5 day period. Crew came late and left early everyday. I had to negotiate additional funds to get job completed. Guys on the crews were all very polite and respectful. I don’t think they knew what they were getting into. Load out is basically a brokerage company and they are definitely not in sink with the workers…

Garbage customer service. yes, they will pick up your stuff. But if they damage something, cost you money, do anything to your property, they could care less. Further, they wont even help fix it. Even talked to supervisor. So many companies out there, why go with someone who only wants your $$ and doesnt stand behind their service. No way these guys are 4.8 Stars..

I paid nearly $300 for LoadUp to remove a queen bed (with mattress), sofa, and desk. The cost itself wasn’t my issue. I would have gladly spent $500 elsewhere had I known how unnecessarily complicated and stressful their process would be. From the start, I was sent in circles. Their virtual assistant quoted me, asked if the bed frame needed disassembly (I said yes), then an agent texted me the same question again (I said yes again). Hours later, another message came asking which part of the bedframe needed disassembly. How is a customer supposed to know that? I offered to send a picture. Instead, I got a call where they repeated the same questions as if I had never ordered at all. Then they claimed disassembly wasn’t included, despite me confirming it multiple times. After wasting another 30 minutes repricing the order, I paid again just to get it finalized, this was already 12 hours since my first booking. On removal day, the worker they sent asked if the mattress was included, because apparently that wasn’t on the order. At that point I nearly lost it. I handled it directly with the worker because if I had to deal with LoadUp again, I would have had a stroke. The problem isn’t the money. It’s the absolute incompetence and chaos in how LoadUp handles orders. If you charge differently for different frames, disclose that upfront. If your AI assistant can’t properly record what the customer confirms multiple times, don’t use it. And if your team can’t read or update the order consistently, don’t make the customer repeat themselves endlessly. This company turned my moving day into a nightmare. I do not recommend LoadUp to anyone. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else.

I booked a $300 junk-removal pickup with LoadUp for Sunday 9/21 to remove two refrigerators and a washing machine. My confirmed service window was 12–4 pm, and I was told I’d receive a text or email confirmation by 8 am. That confirmation never came. I called customer service at 8:30 am, 11 am, and 2:40 pm—each time I was told they still couldn’t confirm a driver or technician. At 3 pm, I finally received a text saying no service team was available to complete my pickup today and that I could either reschedule or call back for a refund after the 4 pm window. I have yet to receive that refund. I rearranged my entire day to be available and paid in full upfront, only to be left without service, without confirmation, and—so far—without my money back. This was an incredibly frustrating and unprofessional experience. I cannot recommend a company that takes payment in advance and then fails to provide even basic communication or accountability.

Super sketchy and disappointing. Called on a Sunday morning to get a washer removed. Immediately called back to reschedule since I had to go on a big work trip and got dinged $20 for nothing. What a joke. Hire some college kids instead. There was no cost to this company, didn’t care about the customer and just taking advantage.

Load UP deserves a no star rating if it were possible. We have a rental property out of state. Because we are not local we pay to have a lock installed with a combination. I paid Load UP $2,805.00 to trash out the interior and exterior of the property. Then they refused to do the project because I could not be there, even though they had total access to the property. I tried everything in my power to get them to do the job that I paid for. THEY cancelled the job the same day I paid them, and informed me that they would only refund 80% of what I paid. So THEY cancel the job and refuse to refund $561.00 of the $2,805.00 paid. Does that sound fair and ethical? I may need to sue them as my requests for reconsideration have been turned down.

Terrible communication - took my money even though I cancelled shortly after booking and now they won’t respond anymore. Only looking for the 80% refund per their terms and conditions…

They quoted me a price for 129 and then when it came time to plan to pick up they went up to $250 and said it was a AI mistake that’s ludicrous

They did not remove all junk as agreed upon, the guys who came to my house asked me for an additional $200.00 “off the record” as they mentioned, when I refused to give them money outside of the agreed upon pricing they started dumping stuff off of the truck that was already packed up and ready to go, their behavior was very extortionate, won’t even use them again and I am in the process of litigation.

I had a 26' Penske backed up to the door at 10am with a Noon-4PM reservation with LoadUp, the driver never responded to my text, did not have voicemail setup and never showed up. Customer service was notified and no one got back with me until after 4PM. We had 3 ladies over 65 years old, one 63-year-old guy and a 40-year-old load the entire 3-bedroom home content on our own to meet our commitment to make the move from Sanford, NC to Myrtle Beach, SC on August 14, 2025. Very disappointed.

I will never recommend your service. Poor management. Why give an arrival time when they do not arrive at that time. 3 hours later. Never again.

I rarely write reviews and give more grace than most, but I had to on this company because the experience was awful. We were cleaning out a house of a family member who passed away and we thought this would be easy. I sent my pictures in, talked to someone on the phone said I needed a morning pick up got my quote and set it thinking it would be in the morning and we could drive home (8 hrs away with no traffic). Come the day of pick up I get a message that the person coming is 3 hours away and won't be there until between 12 - 1, clearly not morning. Because they were going to be late my husband and I removed most if the stuff in the house to the garage ourselves so I went on the link to change our order thinking that since the things were now in the garage they would be part of the $800 garage clean out instead of the individual pricing for removing them from the house. That was a nightmare yo convey to the two different people contacting me and I gave up. When the guys showed up it was clear they would not be able to get everything and they said they would take one load to the local donation center and then come back. What was the point of taking the pictures except to charge more?! I thought they would send someone who would be equipped to take everything in one load. Strike 1: not a morning pick up Strike 2: awful communication trying to change my order since we moved stuff ourselves Strike 3: not being able to take things in one load. I would like to say that the two men who came were great and I explained I was not mad at them but with Load Up for their poor communication. It was not their fault and they did help us come up with a solution so that we could get on the road. Maybe I should have researched more about them and realized that they were not a local company, but you are not always thinking clearly during certain life events.

You know it’s a predatory company when they don’t give you the cancellation policy until after you’ve paid 😂 According to the tracker, they were going to arrive between 6 and 7, so I get there at around 5.30 to get things ready. I’m expecting a call soon because they call you 30 minutes in advance, right? Mind you, it’s a rental I’m vacating, so the power is off. It’s 100 degrees outside. Finally I call the company at around 6.15 and they tell me they’ll be there in 5 minutes. Great, love the communication skills displayed here. When I do arrive, I tell them it would have been nice to know they were coming, and the guy is at pains to tell me that he did text me and shows me his phone. Okay? It doesn’t even display my number, so it’s no proof he contacted ME. Whoever sets up communication between customers and employees needs to be retrained. (Yes, they had my number down correctly, I checked when I called.) While the gentleman and I are discussing this, the woman butts in and interrupts me to ask what I need done. Well, first of all, I told you on the website. You know what needs to be done, you just wanted to talk over the other individuals who are speaking. Second of all: don’t interrupt? I thought that was pretty basic customer service. This was a super easy job for them, they were done in 15 minutes, but still managed to fail every aspect.
