Will keep this brief and say that the experience that I had with load up over the past four days was nothing short of abysmal and that I will never do business with this company or the like. Again. The customer service or lack thereof that I received was subpar at best and I have never done business with a company that treated its customers this poorly.

Worst customer experience I've ever received. Long story short, after paying up front for the junk to be removed, they sent someone in a car smaller than the junk itself despite sending photos of what I needed removed. After admitting he could not perform the work he called them to find another loader. They have since given me nothing but empty platitudes and claims that they are trying their best to get me taken care of. They left me holding the bag and gave me nothing in return.

My loader didn't arrive the first day I scheduled, so I had to reschedule for the next day. That loader also didn't arrive, and customer service tried to reschedule me for two days later. I had already paid (paying up front is NOT a good idea, I now realize), so I kept trying to work with them, but eventually I cancelled and asked for a refund (which I did get, but I was worried I wouldn't). I also did not like that there was not a call center; only communicating by text, email, and live chat was suspicious and ended up being a complete hassle on my end.

They did not set up the new bed only took away my old mattress. When I asked them they said they were only there for takeaway. I paid 279.00 for white glove service to have old bed taken away and new bed set up. I was left with an un ensemble bed.. why? Not happy who is responsible? This needs to be addressed. Would like my refund of 279.00. I would like to here from someone since I gave my business to this company.

I would highly recommend people avoid this company at all cost! They don’t show up! I have scheduled twice now and they’ve never shown up but they already took my money! I’m sitting here waiting now and I’m getting bad vibes that they’re not going to show up again!

If I could make this zero stars I would!!! Buyer beware!!! They took my Credit card payment and left me waiting for 3 days for someone to show up. I had to call them to find out the status of my order. day 3 still no call, no show. I have requested a refund that I paid in full. Hopefully they credit me back my money so I can hire a REAL JUNK REMOVAL COMPANY...... LOAD UP ARE SCAMMERS!!!

Worst experience of my life. Automated communications system is terribly frustrating. No person ever available. Just exceedingly poor text communications. Had my location wrong. Extreme delay in providing load crew. Very unprofessional. Ordered cancellation and they proceeded with order anyway. Bad, bad, bad! Never again!

They showed up in there own car and there was no room for my items. I can’t get a refund and they marked order complete. I refused for them to take my items. There is no customer service, no one to talk too and I am going to refute the charges!! Awful company. It’s a scam.

I contracted for removal of a sofa and mattress in rural Colorado. Load Up could not find a crew and was unable to complete the service. And they charged ME $168 (50% of the fee) because of their failure!

No show for pickup. Will not answer the phone but refer you to text which they do not answer. Also, my bank warned me this was potentially fraudulent.

Highly disappointed when th this service. I was given a gigantic 12 hour pick up window and the pick up was not made until 90 minutes outside that timeframe. The loader was not responding and it’s impossible to reach a human being regarding issues. This service is awful and I won’t roll the dice on it again.

I hired load up to pick up a grill between 12-4 due to limitations with my building. About 10 minutes before the start of the window, I was told that my pickup had been cancelled. No longer able to lug the grill back up to my apartment and unable to keep it out front, I was forced to complete the junk drop-off myself. LoadUp offered only a partial refund even though 1) they made the cancellation 2) could not provide any assistance with my order and 3) did not give me any true notice of the cancellation.

They had a 4 hour window for pickup and did not show up - and never called. When I tried to call, the choice for questions on ETA required a confirmation number which was never given at the time of order. I called again on the "order new" line and was told I would be connected to the "cusotmer service" line - but only music for about 10 minutes before I hung up. I guess they think I should wait all day, and even then they may not show up.

Guys showed up 30 minutes early but never called to tell me they would be early. When I told them I lived 30 minutes away, and that’s why I needed a heads up, they told me they were going to leave. Then he argued that my stuff should have been outside - why would I hire a company to remove junk from my apartment? They stunk of weed, kept headphones on the entire time and left a carpet. Worst experience ever and I paid for it

The worst customer service. I strongly recommend finding another junk removal service. The company gives you a direct number to contact your loader to get an eta. I called and texted my loader and he never answered or replied. He ignored me over and over. I had a four hour window and wanted to know a rough eta so I could go get other items done for my big move and be back in time. I had to sit and wait because I had zero communication from him or the company. My loader was late- arrived way outside my four hour window. I had to reach out to customer service to get any updates, rather than they be the ones to let me know what the updates are and if there is a delay. Everyone was zero help and blamed it on traffic. Zero communication from start to finish, terrible service. When my loader finally arrived, no apology or acknowledgement for being late and ignoring my calls/texts. I had to sit and wait for over five hours. Do not use LoadUp! The biggest waste of money.

I ordered and paid for the pick up between 12-4,, they never showed up or called to provide an update. I had to call them! at that time they said no one had accepted the "load" but could not guarantee pick up that day or monday. I did not trust them to respond so they Offered me a full refund. Which I was pleased with..until the next day only gave me HALF! After going back and forth, they did not pay the other half!... I didn' t want to cancelled, but they did appear reliable,, and would never use them

This company does not even deserve one star. I hired Load Up to remove a three-seater couch and loveseat on 2/5/2023. They had pictures for the job. I had hoped to donate the items. I purchased the set in mid-2022 after I moved into my current home. On 2/5/2023, I did not receive any communication from the hauler until I sent a message asking what time they would be here. They told me they were running behind. They were much later than expected. When the hauler arrived, I saw one individual. I asked him if anyone else would arrive to help him, and he told me that when he does jobs for Load Up, he does not have anyone help home because everyone has to get paid. While the hauler was assessing how to move the furniture outside from my living room, he asked me if there had been any modifications to my entryway. I shared with him that the furniture was delivered to my home in mid-2022 and came through entryway with no issues. I told him that if he was not able to remove the furniture from my home, to leave it, and I would make alternate arrangements. Load Up's website indicates they send capable haulers. If they sent this individual to my home, I had to assume he was capable. He pushed the loveseat through the entryway causing damage and tried to do the same the sofa. When that was not successful, he brought a sledgehammer and knife into my home and destroyed the sofa. The force of him beating the sofa with a sledgehammer as it slid across the floor inside my home, trying to push the loveseat and sofa through my entryway caused substantial damage to my entryway, the landing inside my home and the light fixture. I contacted Load Up on February 5 and sent them pictures of the damage. I had my damage assessed, and I sent Load Up my claim. I had numerous communications to no avail. I then filed my complaint with BBB on 3/25, and Load Up has not responded. It's been almost 2 months since the damages were caused to my home and my claim was filed with them. Based on BBB reviews and claims, others have had similar experiences. Perhaps it's time for a class action against Load Up.
