I wish I never booked Loadup. From the beginning I disclosed I wanted three (3) heavy items moved. I even sent pictures of the heavy items, the stairs and hallway. Loadup finally told me my items were too heavy for them. But Loadup kept on texting and calling me to close this deal! Because Loadup kept calling & texting me I booked them. Big mistake. Then I found out that they wouldn't do my move, too heavy. So I cancelled my booking within an hour on that same day. They kept my $40.80 deposit. Reason I suggest you hire another moving company is other moving companies were willing to move my 3 heavy items. So you can do better, I did too but it cost my $40.80 to learn this lesson from Loadup. Funny thing is I'm still getting marketing messages from Loadup & I appealed their $40.80 charge. If they refund my $40.80, I'll update this review.

This is hilarious! We had no idea Leesa had outsourced the removal of old mattress. So our new mattress from Leesa was delivered in a broken box on the sidewalk. My husband brings it onto the porch. I then have to call Leesa to figure out what happened to my in home delivery and removal of old mattress. I have already paid hundreds extra for this service. I then scheduled Loadup service, per Leesa customer service. Loadup was three hours late of the 8-12am delivery window (nothing to do here the Sat day before Xmas) and arrived at 3pm. Loadup guys came in my house and it smelled like a blunt for an hour after this two man crew left- shady group is putting it lightly. Funny but not. Do better!

Loader was having vehicle problems all day, could not complete the delivery. There should be a system set to pass the order to another contract loader if this happens, instead of keeping the order with on dedicated loader

The 2 men who showed up to remove an ol sofa bed from our home were both Foreigners. The main guy could speak some English, but the 2nd in command could not speak or understand English, and seemed to be an Illegal Alien. I showed them the sofa and began explaining things to them when they started speaking spanish to each other in front of me and a few of my family members. I asked them nicely & gently not to do that cause I couldn't understand them. The main guy became Incensed, and his eyes turned Demonic. He berated me and said they knew what they were doing, and I could just leave. they said this to me IN MY HOUSE !!!! I left the room and quickly got my family members to go to the lower floor, I was that nervous of these guys.I went to an adjoining room and let them do their work, but watched them. Keep in mind, the day before, I removed 2 inside doors to help them with their move. We also moved the stove 8 ft. across the kitchen to help them. We also directed them to pull their moving truck all the way into our backyard, so they didn't have to move it that far. A lot of good being nice got me, huh ?? At the end the main guy, in broken English, berated me again. He said they had to take the sofa out in pieces, because the and counters were in the way (🤣😂) and it wouldn't fit thru the doors (you mean the ones I removed the day before ?? 🤣😅) and that it was my FAULT. I knew I had to give them the Tip I set aside for them (the one they didn't deserve), because if I didn't there would probably be some retribution on their part against us with some property or auto damage from them a few nights later. JUST HORRIBLE !!!

Loader, Micheal Never showed up and called at 8 AM and wanted to come pick up the load, when it was scheduled for between 4-8 PM. Then could not come at the scheduled time. Wanted to move to another day. Then held the contract so no one else could showup, up and said good luck finding another loader. These contractors should be fired for poor service and not following instructions. Now I am trying to find another contractor to come get my items. Thanks for nothing.

I scheduled them to remove a couch and a futon for 0800-1200. They didn’t arrive until 1700. That is 7 hours after they were supposed to arrive. I had also scheduled to have new furniture delivered later that afternoon. When it showed up I had to have it left on the porch. I didn’t want to leave it there so i had my brother in law help me. We moved the old furniture out of the house, which was the whole point of hiring someone to do it. We left it on the grass out front. All they had to do was pick it up and put it on their truck. For this they charged $215. I could’ve had a family member pick it up for a couple of beers. The whole point was to have someone else get it out of my house. When I contacted they only offered 10% discount. Such a joke.

I have made numerous attempts to contact this company and speak to a manager or Customer Service Rep regarding the horrifying service that was provided by their employee Emerson and his helper. LoadUp was contracted to remove items from an apt when my mom went into LTC, consisting of a sofa, loveseat, antique solid oak China hutch, twin size sleigh trundle bed, double dresser, nightstand, desk with an attached hutch, and an office chair, 2 twin mattresses & 4 boxes of misc collectibles items all to be donated as they were in EXCELLENT condition. The p/u window was btwn 8am-12pm, & after I got a call that they weren't gonna show up until 3pm when I had to be out of the apt by 4pm that was the 1st call to a rep who said he would contact them. Well, they arrived at 2, in a Ford TRANSIT VAN & said their truck was "broken" so they used that one... My Subaru was bigger than that van and I asked how they expected to get all the furniture in it & even called the CS Rep who ASSURED me they would be able to do it in several trips. Why they didnt rent an appropriate vehicle for the job is beyond me!!! I even found out from one of the Healthcare workers there was a veteran's home in the same town who would have come and gotten it for FREE, but to cancel LoadUp was 50% charge, and I figured since I selected the donate option I would let them take & donate the furniture. The trundle bed was still together and Emerson thru Google Translate said he didn't get paid to take it apart so I called to have the "disassemble fee" added to the ticket. While still cleaning out the apartment they removed all the furniture outside. When we went to take the garbage to the dumpster where they were loading, we found that they had busted all of that furniture up into tiny little pieces and shoved it into the back of the van.. I mean, literally, they broke it into small shards of wood even though all that furniture and items were to be donated (ADDING INSULT TO INJURY - I paid extra to disassemble the bed only to have it busted up into splinters!!) !!! I have been trying for FIVE days to speak to someone with no call back. Would I use them again??? No way!!! Buyer beware on this business they take your money and you never get a reply...

I have literally been waiting now for two days for my furniture to be removed. I am sorry tired of the constant story of how we are now going to wait a third day and apparently hope for the best? Wow not the best service

Horrible to work with. First… I booked a time and date more than a month in advance of the needed date of service. And paid for it! For the next three days, I had a salesperson calling to book an appointment that’s already been scheduled and paid for! I called twice to get them to stop calling. They finally stopped bothering me. Then…. Crickets. Nothing. No contact. I contacted them a few days out to confirm everything was fine and they’d be there as scheduled. I also requested they come earlier within the four hour window, rather than later. The rep said they’d make a note. The day of service, I was supposed to get an e-mail and a text, by 8am, with the name of the loader and a better idea of the time. Nope! Nothing! I had to call them. They said I was scheduled and gave me a number to call the loader myself. He said he wouldn’t be at my place until after the scheduled service window. This set me back as I had other commitments. As they couldn’t honor their commitment, it made me late for my commitment. Once the loader arrived, they had a regular van. Way too small for the load as listed. They had to strap the mattress, box spring and sofa to the roof! Talk about Beverly Hillbilly! Not professional, at all. And, I find, the loader is a contractor and doesn’t work for LoadUp. He told me he didn’t get the job until a few minutes before I called him. They should have been scheduled several days in advance, not last minute. It seems LoadUp has a serious communication issue as well as a scheduling problem. I cannot recommend the company an, further, I don’t trust them!

This is not a moving service it's an Uber for used furniture. Half an hour before our scheduled pick up time the driver called me and told me to carry my sofa sleeper to the curb so he could drive it away. That's right...they don't load the truck they apparently stand there with their hands in their pockets while you carry your furniture to the curb and load it onto their truck then they drive it away. What a ******* joke! I simply cannot understand how this company stays in business.

If I could give zero stars, I could. I was given a pick-up window of 8 am-noon for a couch and loveseat. I had a new couch being delivered between 9-noon, which I was unable to change. I contacted LoadUp the day before my service to explain that I really needed my old furniture out before the new one came, and I was told a note would be put in to try and arrive between 8- 9 am and that I could contact the hauler to confirm once I had his number. I had to take the day off from work for this. The day came and the hauler was unreachable. My new couch came and the old furniture had to be moved to the front of the room to make room for it. Multiple texts and emails through the day "reassured" me my stuff would be picked up. Around 5 pm I was told a new hauler was assigned, but it would be 6-8 pm and possibly as late, but no later than 9 pm, but could I reschedule anyway. Not possible for me due to work. I was told this was an exceptional hauler and they were confident my stuff would be picked up that night. I was able to contact this hauler directly, who also tried to get me to reschedule, telling me it would be closer to 9:30-9:45. 10 pm came so I texted him, his response was he was waiting for AAA as his "car" stopped running while he was driving and he thought it was the alternator. He tried to get be to reschedule later in the week, but at this point I was done with the run around. I'm now waiting for my requested refund. Lesson learned, read deeper into reviews, check BBB complaints and go with a company that may be a few dollars more, but has a much better online reputation and does not take your money up front. I had other things that needed to be removed, but won't ever use this company again.

DONT USE THIS COMPANY. This is a 3rd party company. They charge more than local company to send out a local company to only pickup certain items instead of everything. Find an actual local company and they will pickup everything for less. Then this company says they charge you up front so there's no haggle pricing when driver comes. When my driver got here, he said he was only picking up certain items instead of everything. We spent 1 and a 1/2 hours on phone with loadup trying to charge us extra. This company is horrible. STAY AWAY OR PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

10-11 delivery time turned into 4:15 pm. No cloth was used for my new wood floors. Scratches and gouges through out. Delivery guys were not the nicest about it. Who pays for my now damaged floors? NEVER would I use this company again. Nothing about it was easy
