It was a mistake selecting Loadup to get my mattress and bed removed. I booked a week in advance and was assigned a loader about 2 days before the pickup day. They also ask you to pick a 4 hour window. Mine was 4-8PM. All good so far! On the day of the pick up, I am expected to be at home and cannot run any errands outside, because I am expecting them to come and do the job in a given window. The loader never contacted me until 7pm. Then I gave him a call. First, he was making excuses of why he couldn't come. Then he said he actually 'forgot' about the order and wanted to reschedule. Like what, you forgot about the job that you signed up for ?? I paid a hefty price for the service. For a company that asks you to pay the 100% of the price upfront, while booking, and before the job is done, shouldn't it get the job done on time?? I have called their support team and they rescheduled me for the next day. So, now I am still waiting for them to assign me a loader to pick up my stuff. I will update my review on how the whole story goes.

I hired LoadUp to pick up and deliver a very nice table for a charitable donation. Per the online order, I specified Goodwill in Galveston, TX and provided the address. The crew who picked up my table assured me that they would deliver the table to Goodwill and that LoadUp would provide me with the donation receipt. To date, I have not received the receipt and the company disclaims any responsibility to in fact make the charitable donation. My table is a glass top round dining table from Bassett that is in perfect condition. Original price was over $4000. The donation representations by LoadUp were false and misleading. I paid for a service that they did not provide.

Arrival time was 8-12….didn’t arrive until after 1:00pm. Somehow the driver had marked the job had been completed, when they hadn’t even shown up . I had to make numerous calls to driver and customer service to get the pickup done. The price of this job should have been either refunded or at least reduced.

The communication with this company & its contracted drivers was abysmal. I made this reservation in March. It is now the end of July. The driver didn’t know he was picking up from me until I called him & he also was not informed he was picking up 3 mattresses & didn’t have the proper equipment. I also paid a lot of money to have these mattresses removed & donated. There was no confirmation that they were donated! I cannot recommend this company.

I moved my schedule around to be available on a Sunday evening. First, the called asking if they could come in the morning. Since I had plans all day, I declined the change. Then, they texted me that they were still looking for a loader. No luck. Now I have to find another time in my schedule for them to come back. Lousy.

I would highly recommend looking around for more qualified movers/haulers. The company is terrible with service. I had a horrible experience with these guys. They gave me an estimated window of 8am-12pm to come haul away a fridge. There was no communication from anyone the day before or even 30mins before to confirm. I had to dig through emails and websites to find a phone number to TEXT. Not call to ask someone but TEXT. The texting was a maze. When you call the number, it gave you another number to TEXT. Essentially, one number goes to the driver and the other number goes to the main call center. Neither talks to each other really. I had to keep checking in every 45mins or so to see if they were coming. By 11am, I had to contact them to find out that "whoops, now we'll be here between 12-1pm." So I waited. By 12:45pm, still nothing. Contacted both numbers again. Main call center said, "yes, they will be there by 1pm". The driver's numbers said "whoops, sorry, we'll be closer to 2-3pm now." By this time, I've asked for at least some sort of credit back for the multiple delays. The refused. They, robotically said, that the estimate time provided is just that, an estimate. I had no idea if they were going to show up by 3pm at all. So I ask them to please kindly refund 100% of my money if they can't get here. They refused. They said that if "I'm canceling" then they'll only give me back 50% of the payment. In short, they ended up "canceling" for me because they couldn't confirm if someone is going to be here at all. TL;DR 1) There is no customer service. Everything had to be done over texting. The replies from the text reads like a robot is replying. 2) The "estimated" time is just that. It's purely a guess. 3) I called 1-800-GotJunk and they got someone there in a few hours to haul it away for a fraction of the price. (It was about 70% cheaper!!!) Don't ever use this service. It's terrible.

I requested some assistance moving large boxes from one building to another and LoadUp failed to show up. I got nervous after I hadn't heard from anyone for a while, so I reached out via phone call which went absolutely no where. There is no point in having a business phone number if you're never going to use it to communicate with customers. I received a text the morning of my delivery letting me know that my services were going to be delayed, and gave the team a window that I would be unavailable. Hours go by with no response, so I reached out again, and the team let me know that the expectation is that customers are available for a 12 hour window!? I'm sorry, but asking working people to be available for 12 hours with only a 30 minute warning in completely outrageous! What a HORRIBLE experience. Do better LoadUp.

Terrible experience! The contracted loader did show up that day (Saturday) on time. His helper however was his girlfriend who did very little. As it was family and friends were able to show up to help us load up the truck for our move. Unfortunately, this contractor loader decided to double charge us for the previous day when no one showed up.

I was scammed . I was told that 12 items would be picked up and I paid in advance . 3 Items were picked up with a list that was not what I had discussed in the phone and sent in my list . The movers were very late and did not know what they were doing . One was very HIGh and snorting and scratching himself . It was really very unprofessional . Do Not recommend .

I will never use nor refer LoadUP. Loaders were three hours past their scheduled time. No contact without me initiating it. When I emailed the company to describe my experience I received a boiler plate response that took no responsibility rather than trying to learn and improve.

I would not recommend this company. They were 2.5 hours late after their scheduled appointment. I called the support number and there was not even a way to talk to an agent for the person waiting. The company seems to give the jobs to independent contractors. The person who picked up was not the person listed. The person who picked me up was nice. I am not just fan of giving up almost my entire day as they can't give a correct ETA off by hours.

I was supposed to have a mattress picked up yesterday. I got two emails confirming I contacted the company. They said they were coming and no one showed up then I sent a text message. They asked if I wanted to reschedule for today which was the next day and then no response After probably 10 tries of texting 4 1/2 hours of texting no response from the company and they’re open on Saturdays. I don’t understand this kind of treatment from a business. I did confirm that they do service my area. They even confirmed they service my area so I don’t know what the problem is especially after getting two emails , confirming they were coming and speaking to customer service twice that they were indeed coming to pick up my mattress. I think that this is rude and very, very bad business. How does a company have high ratings? If this is how they treat their customers what is more frustrating And I think the biggest frustration of all is that there is no phone number to contact them and speak to somebody in person. You have to do it by texting that’s unacceptable because you can’t talk to a manager or a high-level person I have to rely on texting poor business I need my mattress moved out , because it was set up through a mattress company I didn’t even set it up. I would give the company - stars.

Given 12 hour window for pick up of 3 items. Stayed home all day waiting and it was not picked up as promised. Load up should not ‘confirm’ order unless loader committed to the job is found.

The loaders were great. However the schedulers are horrible. We paired for loaders for a Monday. They were to arrive between 12 and 4. We finally get notified that no one picked up the job. They wanted to know if they could come after 4. We said yes. Then we get notified that no one picked up the job. They wanted to reschedule for Thursday. This was a clean up after an eviction of renters. Don’t use them if you have a limited timeframe.

Terrible experience, a hassle to deal with. Were hired to assemble a bed. First, they dispatched workers to the wrong address (billing instead of shipping) in another state. When the workers arrived, they had the wrong work order and had to spend 30 minutes sorting that out. Finally, the bed was assembled with significant gaps in the frame. Totally amateur work.

Horrible experience. Showed up hours after the 12-3pm window, and only because I called to find out where he was. Worker said he accepted the job but got his days wrong. I was not flexible with my removal date, and dispatch did not find me a different remover. He showed up hours later and did not have the proper tools to remove my items. He had to use our carts and my boyfriend had to help remove all the heavy items. The next day we found that he had thrown all of my furniture into the dumpster at my apartment, which I had told him was not allowed (the reason I hired removers in the first place). Not to mention load up advertises as a donation service. My furniture certainly did not make it to anyone in need, in addition to making me out of compliance with my lease. When contacting load up they wouldn’t even refund my money after all of this. Highly would recommend staying away from this company.
