I typed on their site what I wanted picked up and when the company they hire to get it said they were told of only 4 items!!! I would not pay 212.00 for that! I was able to get a partial refund but their site is not user friendly and they cause me a lot of undo stress!!! I would never recommend them to anyone!!!

We made an appt with this company and had to cancel within hours of making the appt. The pick up was scheduled for four days later, and yet they would not give us a full refund, charging us 120.00 for the cancellation. I could not recommend a company that scams people like that. Bad business model, and certainly would never call them again. The pick up was also over three times the price we found with another company. Read the fine print and better, pick someone else.

I contracted with LoadUp on 26 June 2023 to haul out my old, dead couch. They IMMEDIATELY debited my bank account for service not yet rendered. On the appointed day, 1 crew member came in my house &, standing 2 to 3 feet away, took a photo of the couch, then abruptly left. Thirty minutes later, their office called me & said they WOULDN'T remove the couch due to mold. It had no mold! I was then told that since their crew had come to my house they would only refund 50% of the charge. STAY CLEAR OF THESE SHYSTERS!

Beware of hidden charges. They quoted $119 and then charged $158. Are there any honest companies left?

Window was 12-4 and driver did not show up until after 7:00. We bought a house and the couch was over at our old APT so there was nothing for me to do but wait. Complete waste of time. If you use this service make sure whatever you are moving is at a location where you have other things to occupy your time because apparently they book so many clients in one day it is acceptable for them to show up 3 hours past your 4 hour window.

Definitely a scam. They allow you to select specific times and dates online and say they will refund you if they are unable to provide the services. Then they will let you know the day of they are unable to provide services and submit it as if you are canceling and keep your money.

Horrible service. Scheduled to have them come yesterday and no one showed up during a 12 hour window! Stuck waiting on them from 8am-8pm. No phone call, text, email, nothing letting us know there was an issue. On top of that would not come the next day to fix the issue and wanted to push service till the week when I work. No offer of discount to service or anything. DO NOT USE!!!

Completely disappointed in the service with this company. Had time window and after repeat calling and texting the provided Mover, was told after the window time that they had a flat tire on the trailer. I get it things happen, but I truly believe that tire issue happened way earlier then my appointment and I wasn’t a problem until after my window was missed. Then we were moved to 12-4, then at 4 they missed that window, and I went and got a truck myself. Now they make money off them, not living up to the contract they provided. At 7:30 8 hours after the provided time someone was on their way, these people are worse than the Cable company. I should have stayed with 1800 GOT JUNK.

We are very disappointed with your services. We chose a time slot of 12pm-4pm and no one called me until I called them. Then, I learned I might not have anyone show up because a driver said his a/c was broken in the van so he was trying to figure things out. Finally, only after I attempted to resolve the situation (when it wasn't my duty to do such things), someone called me at 6pm...I was off of work at 5:15pm and made it clear to my driver to contact the number I gave him. I was also later informed that the drivers and workers did not help carry the load over to their truck and just waited for our employees to put it on their truck. Will never be using this service again.

This is an incredibly disreputable company. We are moving and downsizing. We had perfectly nice furniture to donate to charity and I scheduled LoadUp to pick up our furniture to donate. They arrived and said that the furniture would be taken to a shelter. It sprinkled rain for two minutes before they started loading and they said since it was raining (by this time it was no longer raining) that they would take the furniture to the dump. The sun came up and they confessed the furniture that I had paid already to be picked up and taken to charity would never have gone to charity and that they only ever take furniture to the dump. I was furious but we are on a tight timeline and I said go ahead. They proceeded to use a sledgehammer to knock the feet that screw on on the bottom of our couches and chairs off and completely destroy perfectly good furniture before taking it to be loaded up. They left wood chips all over the house and muddy shoe prints that I’m still trying to get out of the carpets. If you have junk to remove and take to the dump, they are fine. If you paid to have furniture donated to a charity, they apparently lie about that. Please don’t use this company for that.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a junk removal service. I was given an 8-12 time slot the day before ; at 8:05 am the loader called me to tell me she wouldn’t make it until at least 1pm. 1pm came and went and didn’t get any updates until I called several times and she and her helper finally arrived at 3:45pm. Rushing, she literally dragged my storage ottoman with a heavy metal base down the stairs creating such a noise it upset my neighbor who rightly asked why she couldn’t wait to get help to move it down properly . Her male helper was very rude to my neighbor. When moving the couch they took zero care to properly open the front door and left a huge gash. They then proceeded to just take off with barely a word. Stay away from Loadup and it’s unprofessional contractors

I sell my used books to Discover books. I accumulate an average of 40 boxes every two months that they pick up for free and then they pay ME for the books that have any resale value. Granted, I'm not getting rich from this arrangement, but at least I don't have to pay a penny to give my books away.

I cannot tell you how terrible LoadUp is. A pick up was scheduled for the return of a bed foundation for Friday, June 16. I advised them in advance that they would not be able to communicate through my cell phone on that day prior to 5:00 p.m., but did provide an alternative landline number (advising them that it was a landline) if they needed to contact us prior to 5:00 p.m. After 5:00 on that day I discovered that they phoned the cell line not less than four times. They also used multple cell lines to contact us, making it unclear to which message(s) we should respond. We also received a text message to call them. We did. It went straight to voice mail, and despite leaving a message, the call was never returned, Also, no one showed up that day, and we were never given notice that they would not show up. The pre-arranged pick up was from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. We had someone present throughout and never heard from anyone. The pickup was then rescheduled for Tuesday, June 20 for the same time period. Again, we cautioned them that the cell phone would not be available prior to 5:00 p.m., but that someone would be present during the entire window period they established at the landline provided and at the location for pickup. I still received multiple messages from LoadUp asking me to reschedule several times, even though it was scheduled. On Tuesday, June 20 they again tried to contact us via the cell phone when they knew they could not reach me. The individual driver, John, to his credit did call the landline. He did show up. He did pick up the frame. He did not leave us a receipt. I received two more messages today from LoadUp to reschedule the service, despite communicating with them previously to tell them that the foundation was picked up, but that they failed to leave us a receipt to request a refund from the company for whom the bed foundation was picked up. They seem to be completely incapable of communicating properly, even within their own company, and in keeping proper records. I would never recommend this company to anyone in good conscience.

This is a review of an appointment that i had with LoadUp on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The driver, CharWel, Quick Light, called at 8am and said he was on the way. He called back around 1130am to have me take pictures of what I wanted picked up which I did and texted to him on his personal cell number. I didn’t hear anything back so I called him, no answer, I texted him and asked him to call me and he didn’t, not a word! I then received a call from someone named Latham from Upload telling me the appointment was cancelled and i would have to reschedule. This was very frustrating and disappointing service and it caused me a LOT of STRESS. I am not dissatisfied with LoadUp, it was the Driver.

We paid up front to have some items removed and other items moved from the basement to the garage. Two items were unable to be moved up from the basement. Understandable that they were not able to accomplish the task. However, they refused to deduct labor cost that we paid for up front for services that were not completed. I should have read the reviews prior to using them. They contract out their labor so the crews that they get may not be prepared to accomplish the tasks that are paid for upfront.

If I could give you zero stars I would. I’ve been waiting the entire day for your guys to show up. No one communicated with me to let me know ETA and it was only after I contacted the number I was given the second time did I learn that the guys were going to be an hour late. Guess what? They still aren’t here. And your customer service is a joke. How can you have no one with management authority working on a weekend when the bulk of your service is being provided. I look forward to writing further reviews elsewhere warning people away from this shoddy service.

I've used them before and had no issues, but when they mess up, they REALLY mess up. I counted on them to pick up a very large sofa the day before I had some furniture delivered - I needed furniture to sit on while we waited for the delivery, which is why I had them schedule to pick up the day before delivery. On delivery day, they did not call or show and left me in a panic trying to find a solution for what I was going to do with a couch that I literally had no room for. Fortunately, there are other services available that were able to fill the short-term need, but it would have been nice if LoadUp had maintained its reliability. To make matters worse, the support number is simply an automated menu with limited options available - pressing '0' won't get you to a real person. I only got feedback after giving up on the call and getting an automated text message. To my surprise, someone responded to my frustrated texts and (to their credit) they offered a 10% for the inconvenience. That, however, was simply not enough. 10% off won't remove this couch by the time I need, so I've gone with another service. Depending on how that goes, I may not be coming back to LoadUp. To everyone else, I hope you don't have any issues with LoadUp! If you do, good luck... I hope you didn't plan any dates with thin margins...

Not a good experience. The loader did not know the items were in the basement. He said had he known he would have brought a helper. I responded that LoadUp asked for pictures of the items but didn’t ask where they were. He attempted to call LoadUp but quit after 30 minutes on hold. He had an injured foot and struggled with the stairs. I would have helped but I have a bad back and am 76. That’s why I hired LoadUp. The loader took around half the items and decided that was enough. So I have paid LoadUp in full but half of the items are still in the basement. LoadUp can send another loader to finish the job or refund part of the fee. If they will do one of these items I will share that and enter a second review at maybe a higher number. Also I tried to call LoadUp while the mover was there but could not get to a person

We hired load up to pick up used furniture. All good, got our quote and paid. The day of service, they were to be here between 8a and 12p. The loader called and said we won't be there til 2p. 2pm comes and goes. Around 4p, they call and said they are coming back from Harrisburg. Now mind you they started in philly and we are very close to philly which means they bypassed us to go to Harrisburg. Come 7pm, I reach out to the company to find out they are not coming at all. No call no nothing. They are now trying to find someone for tomorrow to come pick our furniture. Tomorrow is Sunday and new furniture is coming Monday. I will never use them again. I'm beyond upset and my husband will now waste entire weeked waiting for someone to come pick up this furniture.
