STAY AWAY FROM THE SCAM COMPANY.... I booked a sofa removal for today. I am getting a new one and needed this one gone TODAY to make room for for it. I booked time and PREPAID. Last night I get a call from a caller ID that states its a Medical company. They are calling to verify my booking. Red Flag #1 Then today I get a text stating unforeseen problem with my order we will do our best to complete pickup today. So I call and get run aground I ask to speak to manager and I am told i am being transferred to one. Turn's out they train their reps to pose as managers. He wasn't a manager at all. Finally I demand to speak to one. Told multiple times NO. Then finally get one on the phone that is BEYOND RUDE. I am told I did not pay upfront and the service is if we can get around to you we will and then you pay. This was a LIE. They authorized my card when I chose the PREPAY option. This is just a third party company that takes your money and hires another company to actually do the work. So, if they can find someone cheap enough they will hire them and then take a cut. When they cant find someone they will just not show up nor call you.

I received a quote for removal of a mattress and a bookcase. When loader arrived, they arrived without any professional moving and packing equipment, resulting in a mess of wood chips and dust in the hallway of my apartment building. They also damaged the elevator of the apartment building as the bookcase was not padded, resulting in a $400 charge from my building. The loaders charged me $40 more than the upfront quote for the removal of two items. BE AWARE THAT THEIR UPFRONT GUARANTEED PRICING IS NOT GUARANTEED!!!! The new charge was not communicated to me until AFTER everything was done and they refused to leave without payment, with NO EXPLANATION OF THE EXTRA COST. I contacted LoadUp customer service and they refused to take accountability, saying that it was a "connect" order. It is fraud and false advertising at the very least. At every stage of the process they told me my "Loaders" and LoadUp Team were on their way, which led me to believe they would take accountability for the actions of their team. BE AWARE WHEN GOING THROUGH LOADUP THAT THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR CONTRACTORS! you may end up with responsibility for extra costs with no explanation, and for damages to your property during removal.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I booked LoadUp to come to my office on 9/1 - Fri. of a holiday weekend. Their business model is to pay upfront via cc. Despite many text confirmations, I waited all day & they never came. Their m.o is to apologize profusely, promise to make it right & reschedule. I rescheduled for 9/6. Once again, waited all day & they never came. Once again, they apologized & asked to reschedule. Do not use this co. if reliability or timeliness is important to you.

Very poor service. They did not pickup all the items on the order, then wanted me to pay for them to come back to finish the job

So we needed a couch removed well the people show up and everything seems fine unfortunately they didn't come until late and it was dark out well they acted like they were going to load it well they didn't and we woke up the next morning with the couch in the woods behind our apartment and our complex trying to fine us I will not be using load up again especially if this is how they treat us.

Not very happy, I mean I guess it's great transparency when it comes to pricing, but I did not appreciate how they decided to leave 1 item that I paid to have removed with no reason. The "loader" clearly thinks it's okay to blatantly ignore homeowners asking them if they are taking the chair. We even moved it outside, then they stayed at my property ignoring some more. I thought something was off after the helper of the loader had me sign their phone before all the items were taken. I wish they had better communication skills to verbalize if there was a problem. At least it was cheaper than the leading competitor which would have charged double the price. The online booking and pay-per-item was my favorite part of this whole experience.

To say I am completely disappointed would be an understatement. I had everything outside waiting for the driver. All he had to do was load up and go. It was disassembled and so it saved time for that as well. I get home today only to see the mattress sitting there!! The absolute only reason I paid your company a single cent was to dispose of the mattress! The rest I could have disposed of myself! The mattress did not have bed bugs, not did it have any type of infestation at all. I slept on it and my fiance slept on it until Wednesday night when I disassembled everything. We had no bites or any sign of irritation from any type of bugs. There is absolutely no reason to have left it behind. What I expect is your company to come back and pick up the mattress ASAP. I understand the value of positive online reviews on all social media platforms. I also understand the negative reviews on all platforms can cause negative impacts on businesses as well. I am willing to affect either of this is not resolved. The response I received from them " Hi Matt, I am incredibly sorry that this has happened. Because the mattress was heavily soiled, the loader could not take it per the terms and conditions. We will be happy to refund that mattress amount back to you. Please let us know if you have any additional questions. Thank you and have a beautiful day!" They do not list this as an exception for non-removal. They are a junk removal company and are not delivering on their services. This is a very poor response and not acceptable in any way. Other BEWARE do not pay for their services!!

The worst. They outsource drivers and hauling. Zero customer service. 3 hours late. I called to find support and solutions, all they do is read you the Terms & Conditions that absolve them of any anything. Total weak-sauce for a company to hind behind T&C's. Never again.

All was good until the drive REQUIRED us to play him a tip. For one. He was bot working for me. This company OkiOki is who rhe most uncomfortable matress ever came from so it was being returned to them via their trial policy. Not only did my husband help him load the kind size matress he come to the door and said he had told me me on the phone that he requires a tip and that didn't happen. So had to give $20 for a 900+ dollar matress that I hope I get refunded for. So not sure who to blame is but I blame Oki Oki

I typed on their site what I wanted picked up and when the company they hire to get it said they were told of only 4 items!!! I would not pay 212.00 for that! I was able to get a partial refund but their site is not user friendly and they cause me a lot of undo stress!!! I would never recommend them to anyone!!!

We made an appt with this company and had to cancel within hours of making the appt. The pick up was scheduled for four days later, and yet they would not give us a full refund, charging us 120.00 for the cancellation. I could not recommend a company that scams people like that. Bad business model, and certainly would never call them again. The pick up was also over three times the price we found with another company. Read the fine print and better, pick someone else.

I contracted with LoadUp on 26 June 2023 to haul out my old, dead couch. They IMMEDIATELY debited my bank account for service not yet rendered. On the appointed day, 1 crew member came in my house &, standing 2 to 3 feet away, took a photo of the couch, then abruptly left. Thirty minutes later, their office called me & said they WOULDN'T remove the couch due to mold. It had no mold! I was then told that since their crew had come to my house they would only refund 50% of the charge. STAY CLEAR OF THESE SHYSTERS!

Beware of hidden charges. They quoted $119 and then charged $158. Are there any honest companies left?

Window was 12-4 and driver did not show up until after 7:00. We bought a house and the couch was over at our old APT so there was nothing for me to do but wait. Complete waste of time. If you use this service make sure whatever you are moving is at a location where you have other things to occupy your time because apparently they book so many clients in one day it is acceptable for them to show up 3 hours past your 4 hour window.

Definitely a scam. They allow you to select specific times and dates online and say they will refund you if they are unable to provide the services. Then they will let you know the day of they are unable to provide services and submit it as if you are canceling and keep your money.

Horrible service. Scheduled to have them come yesterday and no one showed up during a 12 hour window! Stuck waiting on them from 8am-8pm. No phone call, text, email, nothing letting us know there was an issue. On top of that would not come the next day to fix the issue and wanted to push service till the week when I work. No offer of discount to service or anything. DO NOT USE!!!

Completely disappointed in the service with this company. Had time window and after repeat calling and texting the provided Mover, was told after the window time that they had a flat tire on the trailer. I get it things happen, but I truly believe that tire issue happened way earlier then my appointment and I wasn’t a problem until after my window was missed. Then we were moved to 12-4, then at 4 they missed that window, and I went and got a truck myself. Now they make money off them, not living up to the contract they provided. At 7:30 8 hours after the provided time someone was on their way, these people are worse than the Cable company. I should have stayed with 1800 GOT JUNK.

We are very disappointed with your services. We chose a time slot of 12pm-4pm and no one called me until I called them. Then, I learned I might not have anyone show up because a driver said his a/c was broken in the van so he was trying to figure things out. Finally, only after I attempted to resolve the situation (when it wasn't my duty to do such things), someone called me at 6pm...I was off of work at 5:15pm and made it clear to my driver to contact the number I gave him. I was also later informed that the drivers and workers did not help carry the load over to their truck and just waited for our employees to put it on their truck. Will never be using this service again.

This is an incredibly disreputable company. We are moving and downsizing. We had perfectly nice furniture to donate to charity and I scheduled LoadUp to pick up our furniture to donate. They arrived and said that the furniture would be taken to a shelter. It sprinkled rain for two minutes before they started loading and they said since it was raining (by this time it was no longer raining) that they would take the furniture to the dump. The sun came up and they confessed the furniture that I had paid already to be picked up and taken to charity would never have gone to charity and that they only ever take furniture to the dump. I was furious but we are on a tight timeline and I said go ahead. They proceeded to use a sledgehammer to knock the feet that screw on on the bottom of our couches and chairs off and completely destroy perfectly good furniture before taking it to be loaded up. They left wood chips all over the house and muddy shoe prints that I’m still trying to get out of the carpets. If you have junk to remove and take to the dump, they are fine. If you paid to have furniture donated to a charity, they apparently lie about that. Please don’t use this company for that.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a junk removal service. I was given an 8-12 time slot the day before ; at 8:05 am the loader called me to tell me she wouldn’t make it until at least 1pm. 1pm came and went and didn’t get any updates until I called several times and she and her helper finally arrived at 3:45pm. Rushing, she literally dragged my storage ottoman with a heavy metal base down the stairs creating such a noise it upset my neighbor who rightly asked why she couldn’t wait to get help to move it down properly . Her male helper was very rude to my neighbor. When moving the couch they took zero care to properly open the front door and left a huge gash. They then proceeded to just take off with barely a word. Stay away from Loadup and it’s unprofessional contractors
