**Reported to Trading Standards** Ordered goods in October. No goods & no refund yet - Feb!! Repeated assertions that they will look into it and process a refund. Money has never materialised. Reported website and associated salon to Trading Standards.

Worst customer service ever experienced. Ordered a product in the second week in January, nothing delivered by 24th. Cancelled product via email on 24th which ironically was confirmed by them that they would process and refund. Bizarrely the product turned up on 11th February. After cancelling with Gooseberry I ordered from an alternative supplier which was delivered with no fuss and before Gooseberry's product arrived!! Despite at least a dozen emails and about four messages left on the only tel number. I've even tried to email the director David Butler registered with companies house.

If it is possible to rate a company with minus stars I would. Terrible company, bombards you with email offers and fails to fulfill when you place an order. No refund received after agreeing to on a massively delayed order and the lack of customer service response is shocking. Save your money, time and sanity by avoiding this company at all costs.

Never ever deal with this company. The service is beyond appalling, the sooner it goes into bankruptcy the better. Read the reviews. DO NOT buy from here, you won’t get your order nor a refund.

Placed an order in early January - it didn’t arrive. When I got in touch was told it was delayed with no delivery date available, so I cancelled my order. Was told my refund would be with me in 3-10 days. That was over 3 weeks ago and I have not received a refund. I have emailed several times, rung them multiple times and left a message requesting a call back (seems you can’t speak to someone directly - it always goes to message). I still have no refund and seemingly no way of getting anyone to speak to me about this. Really not impressed and won’t shop with them again.

If there was an option to give "0 STAR" then I would definitely be choosing this option. My partner ordered Kevin Murphy hair products from Gooseberry for my Birthday. He ordered them on 05/01/2020 to arrive in good time before my Birthday on 16/01/20. It is now 17/02/20 and we are yet to receive out items. The customer support we have received has been appalling, we have been promised on numerous occasions that the goods have been sent/or will be sent the next day and yet nothing has been received, yet they have taken his money!!! There has been explanation as to what has happened, there wasn't any warning that they wouldn't turn up on time and no offer of any discount given the amount of time we have waited either - we haven't even received a response each time we have inquired to see where the products are! I cannot believe they manage to run a business this way and we definitely won't be using them ever again. We just want a refund now. Do not order from this company.

I placed an order in November which has yet to be delivered. I requested a refund in December and this has still not been credited. The customer service from this company is discussing and I will not be using them again

I had to click on a star but the company is a shambles. I would actually give them minus stars for their incompetence! They will take your money, will not send you anything and incapable of responding to an email or complaint!

Similar experience as many of the other 1* reviews. First the order took so long to arrive I ended up cancelling it. A couple of weeks after I cancelled it the package turned up so I had to return it. Two months and many emails later I'm still waiting for a refund. I have just submitted a report to Citizens Advice asking them to report Gooseberry to Trading Standards.

Hi, be careful of this company !!!. Ordered an item early December, payment was taken despite them being aware they didn't have the product in stock. Repeated requests made to be refunded but always an auto email which makes it look like they're about to refund you but they don't. Giving up on my £19.25 now. Beware !!!!!!

Ordered products 4 weeks ago, heard nothing so I had to message them, 3 times! Was promised 3 times my order would arrive in a few days. Still waiting. Asked for a refund and was told it can take 10 days, no apology or explanation. Absolutely useless, go elsewhere. Spent £80 and have nothing to show for it almost a month later. Won’t use again and now will have to contact my bank to get my money back.

Please believe all bad reviews they are spot on! I ordered products from this site late last year and nothing! Empty promises and no refund. Please shop elsewhere you have been warned.

It’s been over 10 days from ordering and I still haven’t received anything! On ordering it’s says 7 working days. I won’t be ordering anything from Gooseberry again

Placed order in October 2019, order did not arrive. Emailed to inform that order had not arrived & have been emailing back and forth since then to try to get a refund which has been promised but not transpired. I will NEVER place an order with this company again and would NOT recommend them to anyone.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE SCAMMERS. Ordered in December and paid for 3-5 day shipping. Was repeatesdly lied to and told the product would be dispacthed "this week", but they never posted it. Contacted them to ask for a refund, which they said would be processed within 10 days... and it wasn't. Have had to contact my credit card company to try and get my money back, absolute charlatans who should be out of business.

Horrendous service! I placed my order on 21st of December, hadn’t received it by 3rd if January as they promised in email, kept told there were delays so on 7th of January I asked for a refund which they confirmed is being processed but this would take 3-10 working days, so when 10 working days had passed I chased them up as I hadn’t received the refund. 29th of January, I still haven’t received my refund and they’re ignoring my emails now. Time to report them to Trading Standards.

Absolutely terrible shop no stock shouldnt have been able to order if out of stock asked for refund no refund after 10 days as promised would never order from them again.

Absolutely disgusting service! I placed an order on 6th December and hadn’t received it as kept being told there were delays so on 30th December I asked for a refund which they agreed to. I was told this would take 3-10 working days, so when 10 working days had passed I chased them up as I hadn’t received the refund. I was told it would be sorted in the next few days. Still haven’t received my refund and they keep ignoring my emails and phone calls! I want my money back!
