“Very disappointing experience and it follows a common theme in the reviews left of this company. They quote you a great price when quoting to buy your phone from you, you then send it off and they knock they price down massively. In my case they initially quoted £462 and I have ended up with £359 after contesting the price with them. The phone was in very good condition but after their “robotic” review they gave me a quote much lower than the initial one. I would have requested to have it sent back to me so I could sell it elsewhere for more money, but read reviews from other people who had similar experiences and when they received their phones back it had damage on caused by Grade Mobile, I didn’t want to take this risk so cut my losses and accepted their offer.”

“I strongly advise caution when dealing with Grade Mobile. At 17, I was allowed to enter into a contract that was void under the Minors’ Contracts Act. Despite my autism and having fully settled the balance, they placed a damaging default on my credit file. This has severely impacted my ability to obtain a mortgage and caused significant distress. Grade Mobile is currently being investigated by the Financial Ombudsman Service, the FCA, Trading Standards, the ICO, and the Insolvency Service for breaches of GDPR and minors’ contract law.”

“I had a terrible experience with Grade Mobile. They asked for my payment details multiple times, which already felt disorganized and unprofessional. Despite providing the correct information, they still managed to transfer the money to the wrong account—due to a typo that I had already flagged and tried to correct. Now they’re refusing to fix the issue or take responsibility, leaving me out of pocket. Their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive, and I feel completely let down. I would not recommend this company to anyone—especially if you value your time, money, and peace of mind. Avoid at all costs.”

“My Experience with “TORRECIT**COM The first thing that impressed me was their free consultation. I spoke with a case manager, who was respectful and very clear about how recovery works (and how it doesn’t). He warned me that success depends on how traceable the transaction is and whether the funds had moved to regulated exchanges. Their team reviewed my case documents, wallet addresses, and communication with the scammers. They used blockchain forensics tools to trace where my Bitcoin had gone—turns out, most of it landed on a major international exchange. What followed was a structured recovery plan: • They helped me file a legal demand letter to the exchange with supporting evidence. • Worked with a partner legal firm to engage the exchange’s fraud response unit. • Liaised with UK cybercrime authorities to file a formal report with case tracking. “I PHYSICALLY WOULD NEVER EVER USE THEM AGAIN!!! ordered a Apple Watch. It arrived filthy! Straps all out of shape and it physically stank. The battery health was 60% meaning I had it on charge for four hours for it to say (too hot to charge will charge once cooled) for it to never charge above 40 Customer service is absolute rubbish. They don’t help. In the slightest and never answer phones and respond one every five days”

“Grade Mobile was listed on top of the comparison companies to recycle my phone. They stated £204 for my iPhone 12 and then offered £120 stating it wasn't in excellent condition condition, they then raised there offer to £140 which I rejected. I then decided to accept an offer from Mazuma Mobile which had offered £185 for my phone. From the time of filling online form to receiving full payment was only 4 days.”

“Absolute scam of a company. Firstly, they offered me 30-50% less than they quoted but then they accepted the offer without my consent, whilst I was in an appointment and said I was lying about accepting the offer, when I have physical proof. Customer service were the most unhelpful people in the world and wouldn't to what I was trying to tell them and just made out that I was lying. Terrible Terrible company.”

“They send the wrong item, older model assuming customer wouldn’t find out. Excellent condition described as “new”, turned out to be scratches all over. Wrong accessories, the item is likely to be locked too. The return process isn’t straight forward, need a printer and to provide the IMEI or serial number for creating a label online (since it’s locked, I can’t locate them hence not able to create a label, still waiting for their response). In my opinion, they’re almost like scammers, lying to customers. The reviews are mixed hence I went on to purchase. Now I’ve read reviews saying they pay for people to leave 5* reviews? That’s why. Avoid the hassle and time, don’t waste your money!”

“🛑 Don't sell to this company 🛑 Important you read!!!!! Just had my report sent back to me from Grade Mobile for an amount substantially less than their initial offer (£138)! Additionally worrying is the descriptions for the grade, and their offer! The phones appears to have been damaged under their care given their response. I made detailed videos of the device before sending it in and the phone was immaculate. Below is the 5 issues they said about the immaculate phone I sent in. 1. Signs of use - what a surprise it's second hand! 2. Light wear and tear - what a surprise it's second hand. 3. More than 5 light scratches on the screen not visible from arm’s length - Not visible on the video close ups either! 4. Scratches would not be deep enough to be felt with your finger nail - or seen by macro camera? 5. Bezel may contain scratches, and one light dent in the corner of the device - dent not seen in an footage or close ups. Only minor marks by charger port. If you read reviews of this company which are hidden well this company uses dirty tricks like downgrading for additional profit, not paying or sending phones back. Very bad company reading their dirty tricks made me accept a poor offer. Don't use stay away!”

“A scam. Does this sound familiar? They offer 10% more than the average on other comparison sites. You pick the highest value and send it in. They will respond offering you 20% below the other offers you received. Claiming the grade is lower than the “great” that you gave it. You had a case on from the moment you got it. But they claim there are scratches on the back. This is the scam they run and they hope you will want the money immediately and don’t want to wait for it to be sent back. I’ve got photos before I sent it and when it was returned. It now has light scuffing. I WILL be taking this action further.”
