“I'm not really a boot-person, but am readying for an overseas trip, so purchased a pair of Portlands. So far, very impressed. Comfortable out of the box, seemingly well-made with quality components, and the break-in treks have been promising. No hot spots or rubbing, and the leather tosses morning dew aside. Groundies service deseres note, too. Reading that the Portland runs a tad small, I ordered up, but too much so. Customer service was quick to deal with my situation and get me into a proper fit. Nice!”

“I love these shoes. I can wear them with (some) dress pants and blouses but also with leggings and jeans. They are very comfortable. I ordered my true size and panicked at first as they were VERY tight and uncomfortable. I gave them a few days of wearing and stretching overnight and they’re perfect now. The leather cleans easy with conditioner. I was only slightly concerned about shipping. I never got an email that they shipped or delivered, they just showed up about a week later.”

“Love my Groundies shoes! I ordered a 39 but I am between sizes 39 and 40 in general. The 39 was tight so I returned and got a size 40. If you’re in between sizes, size up! Also note that you have to pay for shipping on any returns, which was $30. Would have given a 5 star rating had it not been for the expensive return cost.”

“I love these for my son he is 8 and has wide feet they are great the only issue is they have a slim insole I had to buy a more cushioned for support but other than that they are amazing”

“I am going to give the shoes a 5 star rating but the ordering is a 3 star rating. I love the look and feel of the shoes. I just got them 2/17/2025. I went back and forth on deciding to order. Once I decided to order, I followed the sizing chart of measuring my foot. After measuring, I decided on a size 7. When that arrived 10 days after ordering, the shoes were too small but loved the look. I was annoyed and sent them back for an exchange. That took 10 days to process and another 10 days to get them. All-in-all, it was about 30 days from initial order. I can't say enough about the shoes though. They feel great and are quite stylish. I'm sold on minimalist shoes. My feet are so much happier.”

“I'm a size EEE width and initially got the Barefoot+ Nova G01, but it was too big and wide for me, even though the measurement on the site matched my feet's measurement. After exchanging it for an Active Knit, it was fitting perfectly. Overall the shoes are great quality and durability. They are very light and comfortable. Now that I know I do not need to go with a Barefoot+ shoe, I will be looking into getting the other styles as well. I highly recommend these shoes!”

“Bought two pairs, a pair of boots and a pair of casual shoes. I like the boots best. They are stylish and comfortable. The casual shoes are a bit too minimalist for me to wear in public but I do like wearing them around the house and for quick trips out.”

“Absolutely love, comfort, no break in, slim ankle perfect shaft height, no bulky no clunk clunk with steps, no zipper (yay) wide toe plenty of wiggle room. Sizing is spot on. I sprayed with water protective. I do not have any issue with slippery sole. Love them.”

“I thought I would have to return them at first, since the dimensions of my feet are almost the same size as the inside of my shoes. But after relacing and breaking them in, they've become my most comfortable shoes. Unless I'm running or exercising, they're my go to. And I love that the soles are the same color as the upper, mismatched soles and uppers are my biggest turn off for dress sneakers. The zero drop thin soles didn't take as much getting used to as I thought.”
