"I purchased a Groupon for 4 movie tickets and snacks at AMC theater. The cost of the Groupon was $66. When I went to redeem the vouchers and upon checkout I was charged an additional $35 by the theater. That is over $100 for movie tickets for four, two popcorns and two drinks! This is more than I would have paid full retail!\r\nI contacted Groupon and was told there was nothing they could do. I wasn\u2019t even able to use my Groupon bucks credit that I had. \r\n Beware! I will never do business with Groupon ever again!"

"Groupon sells illegal licenses, and then when they get caught you loose out on the service they sold, and they wont offer a refund. Apparently they are a scam website as of 2023."

"Reflections Massage. SHE IS A THIEF. I purchased a Groupon and set appointment for May 5, 11:30am. I arrived knocked on door and no answer. I contacted Groupon for refund. They denied me because merchant said I was a no show. I provided proof that she lied I was there and took a picture. They refunded me. Shame on her is she that desperate for money or just lazy. DO NOT LET HER STEAL YOUR MONEY. Groupon should stand behind their customers."
