Beware, don't order items like toilet paper from Groupon as you probably will not receive them. I ordered from Groupon because I didn't want to be one of those people that are clearing the shelves in supermarkets. I ordered over a week ago and the order tracking only got as far as preparing to ship. I suspect they have been stolen and have asked Groupon to investigate but I don't hold out any hope of ever receiving them. I stopped using Groupon some time ago for similar reasons but decided to give them another go recently but of the 4 orders I have placed with them so far, I have only received two of those orders. So only a 50% success rate of actually receiving your order - disgraceful!

Please everyone do not buy anything on Groupon. Its not worth it. If you buy something from them, they will outomatiyly save your card number and charge you for something that you did not buy. They took over $1400 out of my account without my authorization and refuse to refund it. They did not even bother to email me the receipt. I was shocked when i saw the charge on my credit card statement. I asked them to give me Groupon's complain department phone number but they refused to give me. Can someone please provide me with Groupon's complaint department phone number? I need to call and talk to someone from the complain department.

Spoke on live chat about a refund that had not come through. They just said they would pass it on to a supervisor who who look at it. That was the 3rd time of me contacting them and no o-one has replied to my emails a week later. Terrible service.

There is no such thing as customer service. Everything is automated. Beyond frustrating. I would rather pay more money knowing if there's an issue with a product I can speak to a human being.

I ordered toilet paper as I could not find any in the shop promised 24 hours would find out a dispatch date they have taken my money out of my account it’s been a week I sent two emails they don’t even have the decency to reply I paid £32 reading the reviews I am worried now DONT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

please everyone don't buy anything from Groupon. Do not put your credit card information on their website. Groupon took over $1400 out of my account with out my authorization and they are refusing to refund it. I have sent several emails asking them to refund the money back to my account and provide me with Groupon's complain department phone number but they refused to help me. This is so wrong.

Purchased a package for two at a gun range in Birmingham. Only to not recieve what I was buying, they took the money out my account(I have proof) I emailed customer support only to be told to do 100 things(to prove I bought it) and no solution was made..I'll NEVER attempt to do business with GROUPON again..me or my fraternity will never use this again.

Steer clear of this company!! They are disgraceful. I booked tickets for the blast off tour on Groupon. Groupon cancelled my tickets and didn't even tell me. Luckily I checked my account to see that they had been cancelled. When speaking with customer service, they used the same standard replies for pretty much everything which was really annoying as I felt that they weren't even taking me seriously. They wouldn't give me a reason why they cancelled my order and just said it could be a few reasons including bank etc. I phoned the bank and they told me that if I received an order number then it means that the payment went through so basically there are no excuses! Stay well away. They are a horrible company and going on the previous reviews on here, everyone has had their bad experiences with them

Twice I have received emails from Groupon that gave me a code number so I would get $10.00 toward my purchase. But when I selected something and entered the code, a message said the number was not eligible. The code was G6C9K. I did not see a disclaimer that the code was limited to certain offers. This is annoying, misleading, disappointing and a turnoff. Please explain this. The Chat does not work, the web address is bogus, and the "phone number" sends you back to the web, etc. I have bought many items, but now that I have a complaint I can't get through.

It is no surprise that you get treated badly. Groupon takes most of the money and the retailers get next to nothing it’s modern day slavery...

We had an afternoon tea for two at lythe hill in haslemere. Really disappointing. Bread was hard round the edges. Scones were like bullets! Very poor selection of cakes. Tiny individual pot of jam between two of us looking around other people appeared to have far better than us. Better selection of cakes and better quality. Is it because we booked it on groupon that our quality was less! If so then this is not right! But this was how it seemed.

Had the most dreadful experience of this company and the customer service is truly rubbish. I'm truly astounded they're still in business. I would advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs.

I had three items ordered from my account and taken out of my bank. I didnt order these items and cancelled them right away.. I called the next day due to it was already late at night. The technician said I was getting refunded and be here in 7 to 10 business days... It's now passed the days said and I've only been refunded 2 items and talked to multiple people over chat and they end our conversation before it was done. Leaving me left frustrated.. now I still haven't received $101.89 back that was not authorized in the first place by me. I did telephone twice and live chat at least 5 times

I had bought a refurbished phone from Groupon 4 years ago. Now, when I went to port it, I came to know that the phone's lease by the earlier owner wasn't paid off! So, I couldn't port it. Groupon point blank refused to do anything about it, saying 4 years had elapsed. 4 years or not, it is Groupon's mistake! I would suggest, do not buy any Groupon goods, if you do not want to be robbed of your money!

Extremely difficult to get in touch with anyone if there is a problem. They really need to fix call center miscommunication issues. It's such a pain to deal with.

Groupon charged me for a monthly membership once they had my bank number. I didn’t even know such a thing existed until I reviewed the charges. This is fraud and larceny! Don’t let them have your bank number!!! Buyer beware!

GROUPON IS A SCAM. Triple charged my account for one transaction. Bought tickets for a show for my nephew's 3rd bday. Went to the show and Groupon oversold our seats. Literally nowhere to sit. Our family and 5 other families all experienced the overselling of seats and were bunched together at the very back of the venue. Incredibly embarrassing and uncomfortable trying to convince someone they're in your seats when you both paid for the same tickets. Not to mention standing in a big group of people packed with broken hearted children at a show they cant even see. All 6 families had to stand for 3 hours for tickets they charged me 3 times for, and then oversold on top of it all. Management was rude condescending and cold amd refused to do literally anything. Wasted over 6 hours trying to get resolved. They got away with stealing over $600 from me and then we didn't even get to see the show we drove a total of 4 hours to see. That didn't even matter compared to my poor nephew having to stand and not being able to see over the crowds. We could only hold him up for so long. Absolutely cruel cold and careless and groupon management was not only confrontational about the matter but actually had the audacity to tell us we should have turned around and driven (2 hours) home to come back to the show the next day they charged us for! They then used that insult to support their refusal to refund my account for the next days tickets we never ordered, attempted to order, or recieved any type of confirmation for. We were literally ripped off three times for one purchase. WE WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OFF BUYING TICKETS FROM A CORNER VENDOR THAN FROM GROUPON. Bottom line- STAY AWAY FROM GROUPON!! ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE AND UNBELIEVABLY OFFENSIVE STAFF. I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS. THAT SHOULD TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW. Good day and good luck everyone! Have purchased a number of items from groupon and generally quite happy with what has been received. This is not the case with my most recent buy, A five piece anti drip paint kit that is probably the worst purchase I have ever made anywhere. I followed the instructions and even after numerous attempts to get the paint to flow evenly, I was getting nowhere, then to add fuel to the fire, the extension arms snapped after 30 seconds of use. Now totally frustrated with the product and still got a sitting room roof to emulsion. Not a happy customer.
