“The two guys that handled my move were fantastic! They went above and beyond. Some items went to my new residence and some to storage. They covered everything in storage so its protected and made sure not to damage anything.”
“This is the worst moving company that I have ever experienced. They shipped my things from my dorm at Duke because of COVID and lost a really important large stuffed animal, my vacuum, broke several picture frames, and cups that I bought from a trip abroad. Their customer service was unapologetic about the loss of my belongings. After all of this, they had the audacity to overcharge me almost 2x as much as was quoted for the service. I would give 0 stars and would never ever ever recommend using any of their services.”

“I would say that handled did a good job of finding movers and getting them to me. The movers did a fabulous job. However there was an extreme lack of communication from handled. I did not receive information on how I should make my inventory and I received no contact from my move manager, the movers just showed up. Which ended up being fine. But I don’t feel I got the Handled experience I signed up for.”
“I had previously used Mayflower for a long-distance move and was pleased with that experience. For my upcoming local move, they steered me towards Handled which serves as the coordinator for agents of Mayflower/United. The quick-and-easy quote they provided me with seemed too good to be true which they owed to trying to disrupt the moving industry and their algorithm-based calculations. I was skeptical since the company is fairly new (not much information available online) and they were very casual with how any claims are handled as they didn’t offer additional insurance. Nevertheless, I took a shot and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The movers were professional; they were extremely careful with our belongings such as wrapping items in plastic and moving blankets while covering all the floors, doors, and walls to prevent any damage. I would not have expected this high level of service for what I was paying. One item did, however, get damaged which I explained to the personal moving coordinator who offered full replacement cost value. It was one of the best moving experiences for arguably the best value out there. Handled is great - you won’t be disappointed.”
