“Mixed service quality from Hobbs but expected better. Paid for a Saturday delivery. Lack of or rather no delivery information from courier other than email 25/4/26 00:41 to advise package was on its way to local depot. During 25/4 parcel tracking states that it is sitting in the local depot and has been awaiting collection from the courier since 6:21 on due delivery day. Contacted Hobbs through Facebook messenger at 12:01 who said they could help, then just said keep checking the tracking.So in fact no help! Spent all day waiting in for the items, delivery made at 17:11 by Evri courier, although for some reason Hobbs have delivery time as 16:11, which is incorrect. Dress and jacket unfortunately arrived by delivery extremely creased due to how it had been folded or lack of it, with in the package by Hobbs. Both were unwearable as received. Contacted Hobbs by WhatsApp who advised to contact Cheshire Oaks to arrange for the dress and jacket to be steamed free of charge, did feel the words “sorry to hear this, this is not what we expect at all” a very standard phrase. So a 50 minute journey both ways to go to Cheshire Oaks for them to steam the items, which they did after prior contact to arrange. So good service from them. Only ordered on line because previously visited Cheshire Oaks but they had no sizes in stock, especially the jacket which was full price and they couldn’t offer one in a size 12 to try on in a different colour. Although not good service this day, because the assistant kept pushing larger sizes than I am, and I wouldn’t have been able to judge if it fit or not.”

“The online ordering from Ireland is complicated and expensive. Delivery cost reasonable at €7, where it falls down is the cost of returns. This is not explained when ordering and can cost €23 for just one item. Won't be ordering again.”

“Gorgeous dress, but I had to send it back unfortunately. Runs really big. I am size 10 and I gained a little weight lately and still size 8 was so big. I looked like a bag of potatoes :). I ordered 8 as you are advised that it runs big. I was sorry, as the dress is really pretty.”

“Lovely jacket and is true to size however only four stars as the colour is much paler than in the photo. I expected a vibrant blue but it is much paler but as I have bought the hat to match it I decided to keep”
