“Good quality and pretty clothes but and unfortunately I ordered this item after 2 hours you cancelled my order with out any explanation”

“Premium price, minimal standard.This was my first online order from Hobbs, and it was eye-opening for all the wrong reasons. I do like the colour of the blouse, but it arrived in a literal ball. I spent lot a for a ball of polyester. The standard of packaging was disgraceful and made the item feel like a return rather than something new. The quality was no better than what you could buy for much less elsewhere, label still say 100% polyester, made in China. Overall, very disappointing for a brand charging premium prices.”

“I am very happy with the dress which is very pretty and of good quality. Unfortunately the packaging let down your service on this occasion. The dress arrived screwed up in the bottom of a black plastic bag. It was extremely creased and needed to be hung up for several days before any attept to iron. This is the first time that I have received something from you in this condition.”

“Hobbs dresses are very good quality and my wife loves you range... Every year your summer dresses exceed expectations. However sadly your customer service is appalling. Last week I placed 2 orders and paid for next day delivery. They took 2 days and 3 days to arrive and we're flagged by evri as 2 day delivery. I started call calling cust sve at 9am and still hadn't answered by 10.30. I tried again at 11am and they were closed. For such a good company this is totally unacceptable”

“I had bought a couple of medium belts, the rest fitted perfectly, however, this belt was far too small and had to be returned, which was a shame as it was very nice quality. Free return, however charged a small fee for the return which considering the reason for the return I thought was unfair”

“Hobbs as a company is very good and helpful so the poor rating was for the delivery company DX express who were useless. They tried to deliver my dress to my home address at least FIVE timers over two weeks saying "they had left a note and were unable to deliver the parcel." I don't believe they came anywhere near my flat as I never found a note. Eventually I changed the address to daughter-in-law and on the second attempt they actually delivered the dress, hooray!”

“Beautiful dress, well made, gorgeous material. But I ordered the petite size, and at 5'2" it was down to my ankles. Sadly, not the sort of style I could get altered. In addition, this order took weeks to arrive and was delivered to a house 100 metres away, for no apparent reason. Fortunately, the lady who lives there brought it round that evening, after it had been on her doorstep for over 9hours it seems. Somewhat disappointed in the whole experience.”

“Top half too small for size 8. The skirt was too voluminous in size 10. Fabric lovely. Usually petites fit well but not this. Unhappy about paying for postage and the handling fee of £1.95 when returning items. Others sellers don’t do this”

“The petite size 12 were absolutely huge but the size 12 striped top I bought to go with them was tiny. Sizing totally random. I have bought Hobbs for years but not sure I will continue to support the brand. Last few purchases have been returned.”

“The linen is a very chuncky weave and the sizing is very large. Ordered online and delived well packed but totally the wrong size box so completly crease, which is then difficult to get the Jacket to sit properly. Lovely colour, but disapointed”

“The hat was sent back to Hobbs from the depot I spoke to Hobbs who said that they would refund and give me free next day delivery I had the refund but no free delivery code”
