“Love the jacket but it arrived really creased which was disappointing and not what I expected from Hobbs. It wasn’t cheap and I couldn’t have worn it in the condition it was sent to me.”

“Great coats in general by Hobbs, have been buying them for yeras. However my compaint is - this one has arrived without belt.... how on earth Hobbs is senidng coat without belt - no idea. I guess quality control deteriorated ecently st Hobbs. Fortunately ladies at phone line were very helpful and professional.”

“Good quality clothes, but often too formal and office type for my lifestyle (retired and outdoors / casual). Worth looking though, for occasional tops, and coats, esp good selection of petite items.”

“I loved this dress but only gave it three stars because it was just too long for me. I ordered it hoping it would be ok, but unfortunately wasn't. I am only 5ft 2 and there just aren't enough dresses in petite.”

“I have kept this as everyone says how nice it looks but I was very disappointed with it on arrival, it was very screwed up, creased and looked used. I had to steam the creases out before trying it on. The quality is not what I would expect from Hobbs”

“I love the style of the jumper, however, I am really disappointed with the colour representation - mine is nothing like the colour portrayed on the website. It is blue and most certainly not lavender!”

“I ordered the Milan Clutch for my son's upcoming wedding next month as it matched the shawl I'd already bought and also the dress I purchased from Hobbs. When I received the bag, the bag was torn open and the cloth bag inside had not protected the silk bag inside. It was stained so couldn't be used. I returned it for a refund, explaining that paper packaging does not protect the goods inside and as the package had ripped, the bag was damaged. A shame but I didn't want a replacement as it showed how easily this clutch bag could suffer staining. Very expensive and perfect colour for my outfit but wasn't to be. I advised Hobbs re this problem but no word back.”

“Hobbs is always not making coats that get to your wrist and the arm measurements are just off. Nice coat but the arms didn’t fit even after sizing up twice my size.”

“Unfortunately I have given 3 stars and this is due to the first visit to the store when returning the shoes for the first time. The assistant was not sympathetic or apologetic but did remind me that they could not make the pattern the same on each shoe which I appreciate but they were just too different in my opinion. I returned a few days later to refund the second pair of shoes and the staff were very nice and apologetic.”

“Lovely dress which I would have bought but there is a fault with the setting of the right hand arm which means it doesn’t sit right on the body. I keep buying things only to find they have a fault. Last thing was a cardigan which had a line of different colour due to fading. Quality seems to have declined.”

“The dress is perfect, however, I ordered an 18, which was too big, when there was 15% off. I returned it immediately and ordered a 16, which showed 2 in stock, again with 15% off. 2 days later I recieved an email saying not available. 3 days after that another email saying it was available, but no longer 15% off. As it was for a wedding, and I'd bought all accessories I had no choice but to pay full price”
