“Hobbs is my go-to for good quality clothing that is well cut and fits my 5ft 8" frame. However, I haven't changed shape or size for decades, yet lately I find it hard to guage whether I am an 8 or 10, a S or XS in Hobbs clothing as there is so much variability in the designs. This becomes very frustrating when I make an educated guess at the right size, using the Hobbs guide and then cannot exchange for a different size by post and within any discounted period. It is not always possible to punt two sizes at once and returning items is not always straightforward, living in a rural area. Added to this, the packing of items is frequently woeful. I've received items in split and damaged boxes, so have to find my own packaging to return anything. I would have given Hobbs 5stars if the sizes were harmonised and the packaging always appropriate for your good quality items.”

“I have purchased a lot of items from Hobbs. This time I had no free postage label enclosed in parcel. Sent e mail via contact form. Next day I decided to phone. Wait time was 5minutes. 30minutes later I hung up. Went onto chat and got connected nearly straight away and a QR code was sent. A bit of a hassle.”

“I like Hobbs, but have less choice now as there is not as many dresses, trousers or coats in Petite fit, for someone who is 5'4", between a size 14 or 16 and is a mature woman. Ordering is easy, delivery is good and returns are not a problem. Service is excellent.”
