“Great property located in the centre of Abersoch. Very comfortable accommodation for 4 people plus 4 legged friends too. Ample parking for one car but a bit of a squeeze for the second one.”

“It's easy to book an apartment through the good website. If you have a question you wil receive an answer very quickly. We stayed for two weeks in the nice Nautilus apartment Point Break in Westward Ho!, which is a cozy place close to the stunning beach. Thera are a lot of activities en nice shops. The apartment has a private parking for your car, one large bedroom and bathroom. Finally three comments: The bed is too smal and the mattress has sagged. The sofas are not really comfortable and one of the blinds did not work anymore, so we couldn't really see outside. But still, we've had a fantastic holiday!”

“Avoid this company! I have already raised my dissatisfaction with the Complaints Team but unfortunately, my concerns have not been properly addressed. Instagram awareness seems working much faster than emails.Despite my attempts to follow up, my messages have been ignored by email and I have not received a clear or fair resolution and a full refund. Booking ref: 377883 Hydrangea Cottage I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the state of the holiday home I recently booked through your company for the first time… and last time. (4 August 2025) Unfortunately, upon arrival, we were extremely disappointed to find the property in an unacceptable condition. Specifically: • The floors were visibly dirty • The sitting room had mould and had clearly not been cleaned. • The fridge had not been emptied and there was a strong unpleasant smell. Including expired milk,coffee and biscuits. • Spiders everywhere, dust. My husband is allergic to dust and we were not able to stay at this property because of his medical condition. This lack of cleanliness was not only unhygienic, but it also completely undermined our holiday experience. We chose your company expecting a certain standard of accommodation, based on your website’s descriptions and photos, which were clearly not met. We left the property straight away. Given the inconvenience, discomfort, and the time we spent trying to deal with the situation I am requesting a full refund.I also urge you to investigate the cleaning and maintenance standards at this property to prevent future guests from experiencing the same. I do want to stress that when we arrived at Hydrangea Cottage, the last thing we expected was to be faced with an unclean property. We had travelled with our family to enjoy our holiday 5 hours — not to immediately begin chasing customer services or waiting for cleaners to return. The property should have been ready for us on arrival, as that is the standard we paid for and reasonably expected. Having to contact someone to ask for basic cleanliness is not part of what should be required from a guest. Unfortunately, this situation disrupted the start of our holiday and caused us unnecessary stress and disappointment. Kind regards, Julia Wilson”

“Booked a beautiful house in Wales for 9 of us.Parents, children and grandkids. It exceeded our expectations by a mile. Everyone had a great time and our kids asked us to do this again, next year, so Im presentlytrying to choose another fab venue!”

“Easy booking / payment process and friendly service, which felt personalised. When we had to amend our booking to reflect the passing of our dog the agent sent a lovely sympathetic comment as part of the confirmation of the amendment. And .. the cottage we used at Coity View, Blaenavon, was perfect for our needs in every way. Would use Holiday Cottages again with confidence”

“This accommodation was ideal for a family holiday. It’s especially good for children and the owners who live on the farm are such lovely people. They are great with children letting them feed and collect the chickens eggs.”

“'Furtherfield' in Reedham, Norfolk was as described on the website. Beds were comfortable, it had everything you could require. a pleasant house to return to. The only thing I would say is that more could be made of the very large garden. Re. holidaycottages website, it would be helpful if there were somewhere to make a direct review of a property, i.e. on each property's page; it is a little impersonal on the general website.”

“The cottage was lovely good location. The only complaint I have is that it was not very clean. The bathroom in particular was very dirty with lots of cobwebs all over the windows and a dirty hairy floor dirty plates in the cupboard under neath clean ones. And a lot of pigeons poo in the fireplace and dusty cupboards.”

“Easy to select a home and make the payments. Clear joining instructions were provided. Stayed at Oak Tree Cottage on a holiday park. Good access to beach and a useful small shop on site. Only gripe is that the house is a 5 bed but only four sets of placemats and coaster provided, and kitchen table was too small to seat five people. Would have preferred a door on the loo, to allow two people to use bathroom at same time.”

“Otters pocket was the cottage we have been to. There was everything in the cottage you could want. Welcome box towels washing up liquids toilet rolls games even had a baby monitor. The best stocked up cottage we have been at would recommend it to anyone. Even had a shower outside to shower our dog.”
