“We had 3 weeks in different cottages in the Lake District and in Scotland. Each of them was an individual jewel, well equipped and absolutely quiet. We enjoyed a great holiday with a minimum of paperwork.”

“I've used this company on several occasions and booking is very easy. I am kept informed through emails snd my account with them. The cottages rented were always as expected from the advertising material. Will always consider cottages advertised by this company again.”

“The cottage was exactly how it was advertised. From booking to our actual stay information was provided without any problems or stress. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage and hopefully will be back soon. I would recommend your company and the cottage to friends and family”

“The cottage was lovely, there were six of us and everyone enjoyed it, clean and well kept good facilities. Peaceful area , lovely holiday can recommend (and I am fussy!!)”

“Good communication throughout. However, the property had no parking as indicated in the details and you need good mobility as to get to either bedroom was very tricky which wasn't referred to. It makes me wonder if holiday cottage check their listing's against the details.”

“We had a lovely time in the cottage. Perfect for us and our pooch as visiting relatives nearby. Lovely and clean and everything you need provided to a good standard. Very convenient for visiting Wells and Cheddar etc. lots of great pubs to eat in within a mile or so if accommodation. We would stay again when visiting Somerset”

“not always easy to find what we are looking for as too many cottages Pets friendly not enough no Pets allowed.Have noticed this in the last few years.So is harder to find what we would like.”

“We really enjoyed our holiday at the Cabana Lodge (No:4) at Whitnage, Devon and will probably go again next year ! We booked through Holidaycottages.co.uk, which is a reliable and straightforward service that we have used multiple times and always been happy with. Will definately use again and would recommend without hesitation.”

“Luckily the third time I called I was put through to someone who really wanted to help, and ultimately sorted out our problem upon arrival. The first two calls made me very unhappy. The property was "self-managed" and holidaycottages had no interest in helping us when the owners could not be contacted. Basically their point of view was "not our problem". Be careful when using this company if the property you rent is managed by the owners. For the house in Bourton-on-the-water, the owners are in Singapore. We arrived at 4.30pm, which is 11.30pm in Singapore. They didn't answer the phone or reply to Whatsapp messages, eventually they turned their mobile off. Fortunately on the third time of calling we got through to someone who helped us at Holidaycottages. I don't know why the initial person we spoke to wouldn't help.”
