“Knoll cottages was a wonderful place to make base for our weeks holiday. It was quiet and cosy. We spent most evenings sat out in the garden listening to the birds. Yes there was a slope to get to the cottage but that made it more fun”

“Booking was quick and easy, with good arrival instructions. The apartment was stunning and exactly as described. However, the cleaning did not live up to our expectations. The kitchen sink was dirty, the toilet wasn't particularly clean, with a plastic wrapper on the floor indicating the floor had not been cleaned around the toilet. Three out of the four blinds were broken and the shower plug was not cleaned properly and due to the shower not being well sealed, lots of water went all over the floor after each shower. There was sand in the hall unit and a used plaster on the shelf next to the wifi. Expected a lot better for the price we paid, although the location and apartment facilities were excellent.”

“We stayed at Carlton Manor on the 25th July 2025 for a week and had a very enjoyable time. Facilities were great and the garden was excellent for our dog. Location was ideal for exploring and the scenery was breathtaking. If you are a nervous driver there is poor visibility exiting the property which was the only down point. Overall four stars.”

“Had a great stay at Lily Pond Logde. Amazing setting to chill out in the hottub and watch the wildlife go by. Great selection of beef available from the farm. The burgers and steaks where delicious, and I would highly recommend.”

“We stayed in cottage from the 12th July until 24th July 2025. We told Holiday Cottages make sure it is clean. We arrived and the cottage smelt of odour. We aired the place and it would not go away. We told holiday cottages of the odour. we had to keep airing the place We all came down with headaches, nausea, feeling lethargic Holiday cottages sent engineers round the day we were supposed to leave. We found out that the garage which was attached had a oil tank and the boiler , the fumes were coming through into the kitchen, downstairs lounge and downstairs bedroom. The engineers have reported this to holiday cottages The cottage orchard barn wighton norfolk was tired and nothing like pictures Holiday cottages said they would come back to us. They still have not come back to us Holiday cottages”

“The Nook is a really comfortable cottage with good local dog walks and beaches that are relatively close by. Three of us stayed for a long weekend with our pooch. The walks are refreshing first thing in the morning, there is a footpath directly opposite the cottage which you can follow for miles. We would highly recommend staying at The Nook, the beds were very comfortable, the cottage is very well equipped with more utensils than some much bigger places provide, nice and quiet too.”

“Drummond Castle estate and gardens…..£2000 a week plus £20 per dog. Lovely house and gardens. Mis-sold as no enclosed garden. No fans for use when surrounded by wasps and unable to open windows. Renters have to dispose/remove/take away all their refuse. Stung by wasp in the kitchen. Travel Chapter offered compensation for no enclosed garden……cows in field opposite. Still waiting for 25% as per lawyer. Drummond Castle owner had never stated enclosed garden….. Ruined our holiday having to put dogs on leads each time they wanted out day or night! Rain or shine!”

“We booked Bunny Hall for a weekend when we were visiting Nottingham for a hockey tournament. We were delighted with our choice. Super accommodation for the 6 of us, including grandparents. Very well equipped, clean, spacious and excellent service from the owners. The grounds are magnificent- the herd of friendly deer was a great hit with our 10 year old granddaughter. The several flights of stairs were a bit of a challenge for the oldies but manageable. The owner even sent on a charger we had left- and refused to let us pay the postage. Definitely somewhere we would stay again without any hesitation. Even better than described and quite unique.”
