“Lovely cottage. Comfy and well equipped. The only reason it didnt get 5 stars from me is that we went for it because it advertised a secure enclosed garden but didnt say that there is no direct access to the garden from the cottage so we couldn't just let the dogs out the door to the garden. Had to put them on a lead and take them to the garden. Had it been summer this would have been a big disadvantage as we like to have the door open to the garden. A simple fix would be to make the window in the lounge into a patio door. This would make the cottage amazing.”

“Swallow's rest. Spacious, quiet countryside. However, blocked shower drain, no dish cloths, one small tea towel. Worst was floors - not clean. I wear clean socks indoors, my husband wore new indoor shoes. Both of us had dirty socks/shoes after walking around inside the lodge. Windows smeary, kitchen ones were worst. Also glass table top outside dirty. Porch not swept.”

“Anvil cottage in Presteigne, is a beautiful cottage in a really friendly village. It's is wonderfully equipped with many modern amenities, central heating, well equipped kitchen etc. The owner who lives locally is so friendly and knowledgeable about the cottage, village and the local area. Everything in the cottage is immaculately clean. We would thoroughly recommend anyone to stay there, be it for a short break or a longer time.”

“Excellent maintained and equipped. Excellent Welcome Pack (The Best we have had in the UK). Excellent owners and very friendly. We stayed mid to end of September, the nights a bit chilly, but was fine after getting the heating sorted. Its a little bit out of the way and the lanes quite narrow, but soon got used to them. All in all 5 Star.”

“Apartment situated in the centre of town. We had few minutes walk and access to bakery, (recommend the rhubarb slices, yummy!) butchers, health shops a supermarket and many other shops and eateries. Step out of the apartment and it is few minutes to the beach. The beach was pebbled. The apartment was clean tidy and had everything we needed including internet. We had a lovely holiday.”

“We have had numerous family stays at Burrellhill. It is a wonderful, spacious house that suits a large family holiday. Its location in the Eden Valley is ideal for walking, kayaking or just relaxing. I’m sure that we will be back next year”

“No internet access all week even after contact on the first day, router is in downstairs flat. Bed & sofa both seen better days need replacing. Website says 4 star, information book in flat says 3 star. Will not use this company again.”

“We used The Temple as a base for over 20 people to stay whilst attending a nearby wedding and it was perfect for purpose. All the facilities, from cups to chairs to dishwashers to space, were scaled to accommodate a large group and everything worked perfectly. We could not fault anything.”

“There are a good selection of properties available, easy to filter to requirements and check availability and prices. Booking is easy and communications about booking and payment are good. Also easy to check bookings past and present and create a wishlist of properties on your account. I have used Holidaycottages.co.uk on several occasions and will continue to do so.”

“We had a very cold couple of nights at the Cloisters in Christchurch because the heating appeared to be locked off remotely, this took several phone calls to sort out. Other than that it is a nice property which is well positioned for the town centre being only a short walk.”
