“I stayed over the Xmas period. Bluebell cottage blew me away with the cleanliness and how every thing had been thought of to make my stay special complete with cream tea ,the information pack was full of local knowledge it even included the local vets number just in case ,Bluebell cottage is a family run site with 2 over cottages the owners were very kind and helpful .we really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend it”

“Unfortunately our stay was not the best at Eachwick stables. We stayed for Christmas and had 3 dogs with us, the dog enclosure was unusable due to the amount of mud and broken gate. We could not leave the kitchen door open as the Hall owners dogs ran freely and we did not feel happy letting our dogs of the lead. There was no door mats and due to the amount of mud outside I was constantly brushing and mopping mud from the floor when we took the dogs for walks etc. The security lights outside the 2 entrances did not work and the other outside lights were very poor meaning going outside was unsafe. It was good we brought our own torches as there were non available in the property. The living room windows did not open meaning the room was very smoky when we lit the fire. The sofas and chairs are very very worn and extremely uncomfortable. Wifi was only usable in the living room. We found a lot of dishes were dirty and had to rewash them. The courtyard at the front of the house was not for guest use which is deceivving from the online pictures. We did not realise how close the main hall was to the property as it did not say on the website, we felt overlooked with little privacy for both us and the hall owners. The bed in the upstairs end bedroom was very uncomfortable and practically on the floor which caused issues for my parents. Overall the property is in need of maintenance work. I think with the issues raised it wasn't worth the money I paid and I am upset that the issues affected our stay. I would not recommend the property or return again.”

“Easy to use. Not sure why we have to pay extra insurance cover, we have an account, we have stayed many times with no damage to any property, I think this should be taken into account with future stays, but it's probably another way for the company to take more money rather than a necessity.”
