The website had lots of clear photos and descriptions of the property we stayed in which really helped us to choose, particularly as we had our dog with us. When we arrived everything was as we expected, very clean and well maintained property. We’re planning on staying there again.

Thoroughly enjoyable time at Bramshill. The accommodation has been carefully thought through for guests, with every possible amenity. Beds were comfy and the property was well furnished. The location was perfect to walk with our furry friends and enjoy some wonderful scenery. Owners were very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Lovely accommodation surrounded by beautiful woodland. A gorgeous treat. However the pool was freezing and the hot tub too cold for us to use. Despite raising concerns when there and a formal complaint afterward the owner and holiday cottages failed to rectify it or compensate us in any way. Soured my 50th birthday holiday.

The booking process was straight forward. The property (Pavilion Barn) is located in a good position. However, it is very tired and not fit for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. On arrival it was cold and we noticed cobwebs everywhere, peeling paint, dirty windows, a dirty settee with springs sticking out, leather peeling from chairs, ash left on the hearth, the kettle was full of limescale and the plug had grime in it. On reporting these concerns, there was no follow up as promised. We had to persevere with contacting the company in order for our concerns to be taken seriously. Eventually this was concluded by a senior complaints manager.

The booking was easy and Willow Retreat was a lovely cabin set in beautiful surroundings. Great walks nearby for the dog and a short distance to the coast. Be aware to take your own fire lighters and matches as none supplied to light the wood burner. The bedding was tired with a tear on the quilt cover and pillow cases were thin. Willow retreat was advertised as having scenic views towards the Solway coast. Unfortunately, the lovely garden was in need of some TLC with over grown trees obscuring the view and there were old pieces of wood with nails stuck out, which was picked up by our dog. This did not prevent us from having a lovely stay. Recommend to tidy the garden and replace tired bed linen and it would be a 5 star.

Everything about our stay at 'Two Anchors" in Badachro was perfect, except for the weather. That said, we were out and about every day (early November) and the rain took pity on us and stayed off. Can't really complain and we didn't go for a sun tan. The local beaches were stunning and our two hounds enjoyed then thoroughly as did we. As for the house itself, it was everything we had anticipated and more. The kitchen was fabulous with Alexa for timers, music and cooking tips. The coffee maker and smart toaster were an added bonus. The log burner did the trick on cold nights with a generous, plentiful supply of logs. The balcony was open to the elements but apparently also wind and rainproof. The garden, left to grow wild as had been explained to us, was ideal for the dogs to get a good sniff about in. Gairloch was only a short drive away and the Morrisons and ferm shop catered for everything we hadn't brought but we did stop in Inverness for a weeks worth of shopping on our journey up. Can't praise the owners enough with plenty but not too much communication. We would highly recommend this destination to anyone, with the possible exception of sunseekers but may be ok for them during the summer months.
