“Easy booking process, was a bit dissapionting that I booked early to secure the week in August only to find all the other weeks later reduced by £200 to get them filled but wouldn’t reduce my week as said already booked !! Saying the cottage was really nice , few tweaks that we shared with the owners review Like no locks on any bathroom doors and the last tenants recycling which we had to put out to be able to use the bins. The garden is steep but views amazing , garden furniture is tired but none of this spoils the stay. Area lovely and plenty to do.”

“Lovely lodge, everything was as promised and only a couple of years old. However, the site resembled more of a building site than a Christmas tree farm and there was no contact from owners / site manager even after emailing them twice. It is well positioned for easy access to local towns .”

“The cottage was just what we needed. On arrival it looks close to the A1 and to a truck stop but we heard no noise and were not disturbed by anything. The bath was a nice shape to get in and out of and the garden was very relaxing and enjoyable to sit there in the evening with a G and T with the House Martins flying overhead. It was ideally located for visiting all of Northumberland and I just wish we had more time to explore more”

“We stayed in order that all the different parts of the family could meet up in Derbyshire. Croft Cottage was great- the outside space worked really well and there's plenty of parking. The cottage was spotless and everything worked. Sam was very helpful both before and afterwards. Highly recommended.”

“What a lovely little place Swallows Nest is! Everything was just perfect for us. Cleanliness was spot on. We had everything we needed for a restful stay. The owners were really lovely and welcoming. We couldn’t ask for anything better. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend. Thank you”
