Placed online order 6/27/24 online the delivery was “ next day” (which was a Friday) but after order was placed it was changed to Saturday. I was ok with that, made plans to have help here for our backyard project. Saturday 6/29 We waited literally all day for the delivery, even received an email that our delivery was “ two stops away” we hung out outside under porch - no delivery. At 9:53 pm I got an email that said they missed the delivery “without attempt”. Sunday 6/30 I call Home Depot because now it’s 10am Sunday and still no delivery. After holding on the phone with them The Rep. says it “was attempted” I said there’s no way, we waited all day no one came, and on the delivery it clearly states no one has to be home or sign for this - we also added clear notes that they’d have to leave at a specific area- no one came. Sent her the screenshot from Home Depot saying it was not attempted The Rep. says sorry they can have it delivered 7/2 ! Now I’m starting to get upset. At that point I asked to speak with a manager. The local manager calls me sounding bored with life and says he doesn’t know what happened that they hire people to do deliveries. I said so you have no knowledge about what may have happened to my delivery from yesterday? He says No. No sorry I understand your frustration… just they don’t deliver Sundays so he can’t find out what happened the earliest they can arrange is Tuesday 7/2. Very disappointed with the whole process. Besides …I get things happen, but they literally have alllll day to deliver and to receive an email that they’re out for delivery and then another that they’re two stops away is just being irresponsible and not accountable. I had help with our outdoor project Saturday and made a whole day of it only to be let down. In short Unfortunately, you cannot count on receiving your paid products ordered in a timely manner which for this particular business time is of the essence, and Customer service and management seem extremely unbothered to be of much assistance or customer service. I would not repeat business again due to this and should have went with Lowe’s. Lesson learned. Side note; I have a credit card with Lowe’s - I went with Home Depot because of the sooner delivery time. Again lesson learned.

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher. we had a certified plumber install. The dishwasher doesn’t work and it never has worked. We’ve notified Home Depot. We’ve notified Bosch Bosch and Bosch sent the name of an appliance repair company that honors their warranty however this repair company has yet to send a report to Bosch . The repair company came out and determined dishwasher needed to be replaced to Bosch. We paid Home Depot but Home Depot will not refund our money or replace until they get notification from Bosch. Meanwhile, we’re going on three weeks waiting. I will never buy an appliance from Home Depot again.

Absolutely terrible. We have a new build We ordered over $10,000 appliances. Expecting to buy more. We paid shipping and installation. Appliances were wrong AFTER installing and the refused to take away. We bought side install dryer kit They never used or installed kit. They just cramped it in there, no refund. Missed 2 days of work, all documented. Expect refund and gift card to try ONE last time to buy a riding mower. Yes I'm a sucker. Martin Brenner 1772 Lavender Drive, Melbourne, FL 42940 Also ordered work table and part missing and key to open drawer.

I visited Home Depot 6/29/24 to buy a kitchen faucet. I could not see where they are located and tried to obtain assistnce from several floor persons, brousing at Bath and Plumbing isles. 3 of them just run away, ignot=ring my question. Tho others, had a conversation, pretending that they don't see me, until I loudly asked for assistance. they gave me wrong direction. Finally, I was assisted with worker #6, who explain where to find it. But the faucet I wanted to buy, was anly on a display, all others were sold and not replenished.

Still have not received my refrigerator. Should of been today 6/28/24 between 1-5pm. Now not getting till 7-1-24. I was last delivery on truck. Couldn't do it today. Home Depot has no respect for a customer's time.

NO customer service. Just like all the other huge corporations these days. Go to the 800 number, which you'l have to find through a search engine since they do their best to hide it on their website. The number will of course lead you through 10 recordings designed to make sure you NEVER speak to a human. DO NOT purchase one of their ridiculous hoax 'protection plans.' Home Depot will protect NOTHING. The worthless 'protection plan' you purchased will be through the manufacturer of the product, and that manufacturer will, like Home Depot, have NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. Driving right back to the store tomorrow to demand a refund on the worthless fake 'protection plan' they tricked me into buying. Only went here in the first place b/c I had a gift card I needed to get rid of.

In 2022 I signed up for the kitchen renovation for new cabinet faces and facia with the promise I would have interest free financing for 24 month. Don't EVER believe them! After 6 months they started charging me interest. I called 4 times trying to get this fixed and the service people on the receiving end saw the problem but couldn't get it fixed. I did write and send a letter as requested by the credit company but no response. Dead silence. I paid over a thousand in interest still paying it off within 24months. I use to love Home Depot. Now I hate them and this is not the only problem I've had with them. Read my next review.

Purchased shades online. 1. Came with no directions or installation material, just 3 different brackets. 2. Shades were supported by a plastic tube at the top that was supposed to hold up 70 in wide shades. 3. Despite measuring the window propertly, the shades were ultimately about a half inch short to attach to the side brackets. 4. Tried to return blinds and was told have to go to store, where I was told since it was 15 days since ordering the shades, can't get refund, only store credit. It didn't matter that it was only 10 days since delivery.

This has to be the worst delivery service ever!!! First off was supposed to be 1-2 day delivery for my washer and then I got an email on day of saying now delayed 4 wks out!!! I could not wait that long I called soonest they could get was 3 wks out so a week closer. I said fine I will take that even though I need to wash my clothes within the damn month! Then took off work and waited for hrs and no one ever came ON MY SET DAY WITH A 4 HR BLOCK OF WAITING. I lost my work wages and when I called I had to wait 30 minutes then speaking with someone from another country and said the truck broke down. I said I want to talk to management and transferred to me to de-escalation team that did absolutely nothing!! That team just contradicted the person in the 0ther country and said oh did come out.. I said no one rang the door and no one called me. They said we called this number repeated it and wrong number! Was not even my number!! I never got a call nothing delivered said they can try me in 4 days!! I said I want a refund. Oh we dont give refunds until after the delivery and your satisfied! I said I am not and now I cant wash my clothes for another week!! This is unreal!!! This was paid up front too weeks ago in person when ordered. I WOULD NEVER IN LIFE DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! THEY DONT CARE AND GIVE MIXED STORIES. WAIT HOURS ON THE PHONE JUST TO HEAR MORE BAD NEWS!!! GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND YOU CAN GET BETTER SERVICE ANYWHERE ELSE!! NEVER AGAIN!!! KIRSTEN!!

My Westinghouse pressure washer was delivered today, UPSIDE DOWN. When I opened the box, no manual or instructions. Nothing to tell me how much oil, how to assemble the handle, how to assemble the hose handle, nothing!! After calling them 3 times between 3:10 pm and 5:20 pm and talking to three different people, one person told me that she would send me the instructions and manual, her name was Ximena, however, I received nothing. Then I called again and got Jonny (that's how he said he spelled gus name) and he was rude and told me that my instructions and manual would arrive in 72 hrs!! Then he told me that my phone was bad and causing the instructions to be blurry when I zoomed in because it was so small print. Yes, I got mad and told him I would like to speak with a supervisor and he said "there is no supervisor, I advise you to go to your nearest store". I again asked to speak to a manager over him and again he told me the same thing. And guess what, I lost it...yes. I told him f u. I am so tired of spending money that I work hard for and you get ripped off and customer service is absolutely ridiculous. Shame on you Jonny and Home Depot. You can come get your pressure washer and I will go else where.

DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT! I purchased a new dryer with steam. I was told I needed to buy a special attachment to keep the warranty. I purchased the parts and when they delivered the new dryer the steam kit was not on the truck. They put an old rusty hose from another dryer they had on the truck. Now I have a new dryer with no warranty! I had stock and a Home Depot credit card which is now cancelled and stock sold. The worst thing in business is to charge a customer for a part that was NOT INSTALLED! I will never shop at Home Depot again and neither should anyone else. Lowes is now my go to store

Fridge, oven, and dishwasher arrived one week late. Then delivery driver would not drive up the driveway, said his truck was too big, and he refused to return with a smaller truck to complete the delivery. The "delivery" company contracts with Home Depot and Home Depot sided with the delivery company. No worries. Lowe's managed to complete the delivery with no problems. Thank you Lowe's for not being feckless and worthless.

Ordered appliances June 2nd. Supposed to arrive June 17th. The delivery company (RAS Logistics out of Johnson City) delayed and rescheduled to June 24th. They brought a truck way too big . Now telling personnel at Home Depot they refuse to deliver my appliances and to meet them somewhere. Like where? It was noted from the beginning to request a smaller truck or one without a lower lift . Our driveway is normal except for a small dip at the end. Please fire this logistics company and get a new one. And Home Depot store in Hickory refused to accept the appliances and bring them to us. How can anyone get anything delivered if they no one will take responsibility. RAS also told Home Depot that blocking traffic. The traffic that went around the truck are my neighbors and we know them. I also had other neighbors there to witness what happened and I’m attaching pictures of our driveway. The issue is just having a different truck with lower lift. FedEx just backed a huge truck up the driveway right after this delivery came. We have had various deliveries from other places such as Lowe’s without a problem.

On June 23, 2024 I bought 3 bags of Virgo black mulch. I opened the 1st bag and dumped it where I wanted to spread it~ I was very disappointed and shocked that it was full of river rock. Some small and some very large. My neighbor didn't believe me, she had to come see for herself. I opened a second bag and same thing. When I called the store, the 1st person to help asked if I wanted to return the bags, I had just explained how I had just dumped and spread the mulch. Was I to scoop it back up? Then she was just quiet, said she didn't know what she could do for me~ I had to ask for a manager. Very dissapointed with the product and the lack of care from the 1st service person who not willing to go above and beyond to help

Ryobi sale buy a battery kit and get one tool free- huge display with many tools set up. Went to buy the vacuum and was told it’s not part of the deal- though there is a vacuum on the flyer and the sign said tools $199 and less- this vacuum was marked $199- was stocked under and with all sale items/ evidently the skew was different. Manager and staff made us feel crazy and like scammers ourselves- this was SO MISLEADING- NOT CLEAR. Poor marketing at the very least. Most importantly- there was no other vacuum to buy!!!! We couldn’t get a different “correct” vaccum- just can’t do that deal, can’t get a new vacuum. We have many ryobi tools- including a vacuum that is beginning to fail. We frequent Home Depot as our first choice diy store. It is evidently more important for Home Depo to ensure skews match than stand by what they advertise and surely we now know the customer is NEVER right. We don’t matter. I will work very hard to buy ONLINE any required ryobi products to maintain the existing tools I have, and not at home depot. We will also be trying to move away from ryobi. I just feel screwed. Btw- we do have photos of the display, the signs, the products that are priced as required. Am not posting now, but would love to follow up with that if needed. And our referrals to friends will NEVER again be for Home Depot or ryobi.

Military vet, almost four years employed. Management style is passive agreesive to say the least. If you advocate for yourself, you are then ostracized, and systematically targeted until you either quit, get fired, or if you're smart; file with the EEOC before you get fired and use that time to build your case. And be sure to utilize the Federal and State statues i.e. "One Party Consent". This law allows you to audio record ANY AND EVERY conversation you have with your managers or anyone else. The great part is you do not have to inform them that you're recording! This is how you when a case against them!

On May 27,2024 I ordered a $1,500. French door refrigerator at the Utica NY Home Depot. The refrigerator was delivered on 6/5/24 by an unmarked truck and 2 delivery boys. Both spoke broken English and had difficulty communicating with me and understanding me. They appeared in a rush as one boy rang my doorbell 3x and started banging on the glass storm door before I could get to it. When I answered the door he was shouting "Home Depot", "Home Depot". I told him yes I was expecting HD delivery. He turned and ran back to truck. The other boy had started to tear the wrapping/box off the refrigerator while it was on the truck platform. He threw the styrofoam and plastic wrap on the platform and the wind quickly blew it all off the truck into the street and neighbors yards. He grabbed a few pieces of plastic and stuck them in the truck. the other styrofoam blew around my yard and down the street. He did not retrieve any of it. He loaded the refrigerator onto a dolly and pushed it through the grass to my door. He and his helper attempted to bring the refrigerator into my house through the front door. It was clear at that point that the wrong size refrigerator was delivered but both boys attempted to force it through my front door. When they gave up trying the entire wood storm door framing was scraped and broken, the metal on the door and frame was bent beyond repair. He had to remove the door prop attached at the bottom of the door, which he set aside. When they were done the door prop assembly had disappeared. He tried blaming me, saying I took it but he had thrown it in his trash box and it was never found. Once the refrigerator was inside the boys found that it would not fit through the other doorways to the kitchen They forced it through and had scraped the paint off the wood baseboards and walls so they had no choice but to get it back out to the truck and return it to Home Depot. Mainly because of the damage that was already done to the refrigerator and because Home Depot sent the wrong size refrigerator. More damage was done in the removal as they were still in a rush to get it back to the truck. Both boys remarked, "faster" to each other. In contacting Home Depot, I was given a full refund and discussed the behaviors of the delivery boys. A replacement refrigerator that was the correct size was ordered and scheduled for delivery TODAY! Guess What? The refrigerator was the wrong size AGAIN. This time it arrived 6/22/24 in a legitimate rental truck with 2 polite workers. It was brought inside and made it to the first doorway into a hallway when it was discovered that it too was again the WRONG SIZE !! They both apologized and said they will apply for a full refund for me. They removed the refrigerator and took it back to the truck to return it to HOME DEPOT. GUESS WHAT HOME DEPOT! You just LOST another customer.

I have spent TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars shopping at Home Depot -- an entire kitchen remodel, all of my major appliances, all of my ceiling fans, all of my bathroom upgrades, etc., all within less than a year. And they're REFUSING to take back a $145 toilet with a hairline crack? Their reasoning is that I have reached a 'limit' on returns -- gee, does that include the shower stall that also arrived with a CRACK, a WRONG ceiling fan, and toilet kits that NEVER ARRIVED? (As confirmed with UPS.) I reviewed all of my returns and they don't even add up to $1K. And they were replacements for the EXACT same and/or correct items (and not some returns 'on a whim'). So basically, the message is that if you continue to shop with Home Depot they will eventually STICK YOU with a damaged product. I guess when you're a publicly traded company with numbers in the billions you don't GIVE A RIP about your customers. But guess what? It's CUSTOMERS that Home Depot is SUPPOSED TO BE serving, it's CUSTOMERS that put them where they are. Perhaps contractors are the only ones they wish 'to serve.' I was planning on making more large purchases from them but NO MORE. Why would I take that chance? They have lost a HUGE, LOYAL CUSTOMER. I know that may be a drop in the bucket, but I am a firm believer that business practices like this eventually DO NOT lead to prosperity in the long run.
