One item missing from box , spent hours calling writing , texting, emailing , all Valid Points ..denied denied denied.asked for executive review denied ….. Never Never order from Home Depot…… !!!!!!! Pick up in person only ..!!!!

I am having an entire rehab on a 1920 home. I have experienced the following: Lost shipments, ever changing delivery dates, poorly trained customer service representatives or they are powerless to remedy problems. I refuse to purchase any more items from Home Depot.

I needed a new shower door. Home Depot did not have size I need the employee sent out a text and said I would get multiple quotes. One contractor called back CSD California Shower Doors listed on HD website. They quoted the door and even though they gave a 3-5 week lead time. The salesman called the shop and told me they had the metal that was May 20 today is July 31. They have not called me. They have emailed me with no time frame for install. Just excuses back order back order. HD started giving me promises but the promise of contacting me 7/30/24 came and gone. They shower is just a small 30” stall

Now that Home Depot has sold their accounts to Citibank their phone payment service is the worst I have ever experienced. I was transferred 3 times and had to repeat all of my information each time. The last time I was transferred I was connected to a live person (located in another country) and she wasn't able to pull up my account. Approximately a year ago, someone opened another account in my name, it was reported as fraud and was to have been taken care of but when I try to make a phone payment the women in another country pulled up the fraudulent account. I am not doing business with Home Depot unless I can pay in cash.

Homedepot installation services are horrible and I'll never use them again. 4 times I've dealt with their installations 1st time 5 years ago installer said cant install dishwasher bcuz can't shutoff the water, had show him he turning vlv wrong way, duh. 2nd time delivery of refrigerator hit ceiling fan and knocked it loose off rafter bracket. 3rd time they installed new countertop and didn't seal around sink and the leak cause some warping Then this time is 4th and last. Guess i am a slow learner. Their plumber was suppose contact me to fix shutoff vlv issue andd finish dishwasher installation, said call in 24 to 48 hours, been 8 days and still hasnt contacted me, i call them everyday and get nothing but lies and excuses

YOU NEVER EVER ANSWER THE PHONE TO CANCEL MY ORDER, AND REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER MATERIAL. I AM BOUNCED FROM ONLINE TO THE STONE ON bISCAYNE BLD THAT PUT ME ON HOLD FOR HOURS IN ONE DAY. RIGHT NOW IT IS MY SECOND ATTEMPT, I WAIT ALREADY 28 MINUTES AFTER THAT A LADY ANSWERED BUT TOLD ME I AM WITH A CUSTOMER, HOLD ONE. IT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE THAT AN ORDER ON LINE OR OVER THE PHONE CANNOT BE CANCELLED THE SAME WAY. IT IS ALSO A DISCRACE TO TREAT THE CLIENTS THIS WAY. NEVER AGAIN. NOW I HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SOMEONE WILL PICK UP OF NOT.

I've experienced nothing short of a nightmare trying to replace a mere ceiling fan remote. Not only is it not available anywhere on their website, but their stand-in universal remotes don't come with the functionality needed to operate the fan. Not to mention the fact that they're unfairly shaking us down for the remote, 40+ bucks for a cheap plastic remote probably made in China. There's no replacements online anywhere. Hampton Bay is a Home Depot company. They should have replacement remotes on standby, easily accessible, but they are nowhere to be found. Not on their website, not on third party sites, NOWHERE. I have had to jump through hoop after hoop because of this bad customer service. From now on, I will never buy from Home Depot ever again.

DO NOT BUY Home Depot Extended Warranties DO NOT BUY anything from Home Depot that needs an extended warranty!!!! They outsource it to SquareTrade, a part of Allstate and it is a total rip-off. I have all the paperwork for an LG Washer purchased in January 2022 with a 5 year extended warranty from this horrible company. I called today to file a claim and it seems they have no record of our extended warranty in their system! Now, they tell me they will send me an email in a few days to tell me how to make a claim. Really? All they are good at is apologizing and saying how sorry they are. Now I find out I was supposed to go to the allstate site and "register" the warranty. No one ever told us this before. So, after speaking to a supervisor who spent the entire time apologizing, I still need to wait for them to send me an email to make a claim! NEVER buy extended warranties for Home Depot products!!!!

Now, I have 1/5th of the boxes I need to move, and I need to move TOMORROW. Nothing on the website indicated there'd be any issues with this order. No warning, no nothing. The people I talked to on the phone were polite, but they couldn't fix the problem. I'm warning anyone reading--DO NOT RELY ON HOME DEPOT. They are NOT trustworthy. Their system doesn't work, breaks down at random points, and will lose your information. You will HAVE to call them, and even then, your situation will not get resolved. If you need to move, order your moving boxes from LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. This is the worst experience I have ever had ordering something online. Do yourself a favor and avoid Home Depot. I'm sure cutting their staff and their supplies helped get them a higher quarterly report for shareholders, but their practices HARM their customers. DO. NOT. USE. HOME. DEPOT.

I purchased a $1,700 refrigerator from home Depot in Daphne Alabama my salesperson Denise Wallen assured me that my refrigerator would open right left she even wrote it down but when we received the refrigerator it opened left right and she never put it in the computer system how it should have arrived when my husband called her to let her know she was very nonchalant she didn't even say she was sorry are anything and immediately gave the phone to her manager they were supposed to have called us Monday which was July the 22nd 2024 to let us know when they will have someone out to change it around we never received a call from them also she charged us for an ice maker but the refrigerator came with and ice maker. Home Depot you have to do better especially with large purchases like this also with your customer service.

Delivery service is pretty bad. Lack of communication, missed commitment dates. This ultimately impacts job site performance. Issues seem to revolve around the third party delivery services. My experience is with the Pittsfield MA store. However I tend to think that this is a more corporate issue. Personnel at the store are great and helpful but seem to be somewhat limited in the control of the delivery vendors. I’m surprised that Home Depot is advertising the rapid delivery program when there are obvious issues with the delivery vendors.

Awful communication! I have been trying since Monday to get in touch with this company regarding a return & I am no nearer to a solution!!! B&Q who I ordered through also a waste of space. I will never again use them, & definitely would not recommend them

Delivery drivers are lazy lazy lazy and decided from the minute they got there they would find an excuse not to bring my refrigerators into he house. They left them in my driveway for me to figure it out. Terrible service, worse attitudes. I will never order from Home Depot again.

I will never use Home Depot again, the staff are rude and most unhelpful. On 7th July in the July 4th Sale I purchased a Frigidaire Top Freezer. Even that transaction was painfully slow it took the appliance specialist over an hour to complete the sale because she could not use the computer. Yes she is elderly but I am 70 and know you have to take the caps lock off! Then she kept telling me I already had an account, I don't I paid cash for everything. At last I purchased the fridge it took her so long she missed the delivery window and I had to wait till the next delivery available. It was delivered yesterday the 11th. After being plugged in for 15 hours its still not cold, I call them on the number they give me, they tell me to all another number. I call then, in Canada and they tell me to call the local branch, I call them each time explaining the issue and twice the same lady laughs and puts the phone down I call back they tell me they can do nothing about it and they give me the same number in Canada. I call then again and explain the fiasco. Eventually they say they will replace it as its obviously defective but I can not have it delivered till July 31st, yes 19 days time. I tell them that I can not wait 19 days, I am ill, and need a fridge, they say they will contact the local store. So they call Poinciana branch and instead of me on hold they leave the line open, I hear them fighting about what should be done, One lady tells the other they have to honor the price that I paid in the sale and the other lady says they will not I have to purchase at full price and they will give me $50 off, They are annoyed because I got a $300 discount in the sale and they say its too much to honor, so I have to have this defective one picked up on 17th July and then on 20th July I can go into Home Depot and get my cash back. I have been on the phone for 4 hours this morning with them and they do not care, they would not even let me speak to the manager. The lady from the resolution center in Canada just said I am going now I am not dealing with this, I have asked for a replacement for the lady you need to sort it and she put the phone down. It was taking so long they eventually decided they would call me back, they offered me a fridge at full price not as good as the one I purchased and $50 off. I give up I told them to come and collect this defective one and I will come and get my money back. Never again will I shop in Home Depot, I have for over 23 year but never again. Avoid them at your Peril particulary the Poincian Kissimmee branch where its hard to ever find anyone that knows anything and they are so rude the way they talk to you. I am dreading going in to get my money cause I know how upset I already am at this situation.

I used Home Depot’s online window treatment service, purchasing over $3,000 worth of blinds(which included measuring and installation). My advice: DON’T DO IT!! Worst service ever.

Today we went to homedepot on howe ave. My husband and went to buy a few things and as we were leaving my husband heard a sales person name is Gavin say something about he hope he won't have to strip search him meaning my husband. I hope its not because my husband is black.

DO NOT PURCHASE A REFRIGERATOR FROM HOME DEPOT!!!!!!!!!!! We ordered our refrigerator on June 14th from the store in Northville, MI. Today is July 6th and not only have we not received it, but have not even received a call about it. On four different occasions now we have contacted them, but we have always been promised that the product would arrive at the end of the week, and each time they’ve lied to us and we’ve never received it. When we began to ask for a refund, we were told a new fridge would be delivered, but again they lie to keep your money!!!! If you need a refrigerator, you are better off checking Facebook marketplace or a back alley before dealing with these people. Terrible customer service and terrible experience. We will never make a major purchase from this store ever again.

I went to home depot in Kahului HI for pvc fittings. They were out of the bulk apparently. The person in that department told me that they didn't have any more. He then asked how many of the tee connectors I needed and started to count them out. I had3told him that I wasn't paying. 91 each for the connectors because I needed 50 of them. RJ told me that when you buy 12 then the price goes down WRONG. I got to the check out and everything that I was told was a lie. Unfortunately there's only one on t h e island.

I got there to home depot in santa fe nm at about 7:30 am on July the 2nd. I went to the returns section and there I was helped right away by a nice girl. I bought 25 boxes of flooring and paid for them. I asked the girl that I needed to get loaded and told her I have a bad back. I asked her can you call somebody to help me. She did and nobody came. After half our waiting I went to pro desk. I saw a man talking there. It was Elias the manager. I asked him that I have been waiting to get loaded and asked for my receipt he got mad and told me you have just been waiting half hour and walked off. I went back to returns and there was a man standing there and asked him that I have been waiting for about an hour to get loaded. He got on my face mad and he said I am trying to help you. Then I asked him what is your name. He was the store manager Patrick He has a very bad attitude. I think the customer comes first. I finally got loaded by the assistant Manager Arianna which was really nice. I think your managers need to be nicer to your customers.

Home Depot has issues with their major appliance repair and replace policy. If you purchase an item, and it becomes defective within 48 hours after delivery, you are on your own. You can’t return the product, and the only thing Home Depot will do to help is give you manufacturer phone numbers. Buy your appliances from a company willing to stand behind them, and who is willing to assist their customers!!!
