“CAREFULLY CHECKED PRECISE FOOT MEASUREMENTS BUT WHEN ORDER ARRIVED TOO NARROW. TRYING TO TELEPHONE ANG GET INFORMATION ON QUESTION REGARDING RETURN AND REPLACEMENT THE MOST DIFFICULT EVER EXPERIENCED. PERSON WHO ANSWERED PHONE AFTER 32 MINUTES WAIT IMPOSSIBLE TO HEAR CLEARLY AND CALL KEPT CUTTING OUT, SHE DISCONNECTED CALL. WILL NOT ORDER ONLINE DURING LOCKDOWN WHEN CANNOT RETURN GOODS TO SHOP”

“I have purchased (far too many) Hotter shoes and boots over the last few years and have never been disapointed with the footwear or Hotter's sevice. Since lockdown March 2020 I've walked almost every day, often 2-3 miles over rough frequently wet tracks, in Leanne - and they're still going strong. Around October 2020 I bought a pait of Blenheim boots. They're great, very muddied up at the moment, but I can highly recommend them!”

“This company does not allow you to return an item. I've tried numerous times to obtain a return label by email and phone and was unsuccessful. They never responded and have a 30 day return policy. They are a scam. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM.”

“I placed my order 16 days ago, and have not had any communication from Hotter since the confirmation email that immediately followed my order. I have no idea what the status is. I have sent 3 emails requesting information and have not gotten any response. The phone is never answered. I've been trying to call for days.”

“I personally know that hotter shoes are the best .quality and a proper fit also very comfortable could walk for miles in utter comfort .In my opinion I just can't get better shoes any where else .Also they are worth every penny they are excellent .”

“Hotter sent me 2 pairs in a wrong size, even though the same size and width was printed on the soles. After a rather long and annoying struggle to get their return label, they did receive the package back on December 21. I still didn't get $140 refund to my Visa, nobody answers their 1-866-378-7811, and even when they do, it takes 20-25 min. of their recorded messages, and ...I still didn't get my REFUND, for over a week now!”

“I was ordering from Hotter for a few years, and their shoes were lovely and also a perfect fit, until last November, 2020. Even though the very same size/width was printed on soles, both pairs were at least 1 full size larger, and I had to return them. That's when their endless HELL started - I couldn't get the return label from them for days, nobody responded to my e-mails, nobody answered 1-866-378-7811 during business hours, and as for today, December 29th, Hotter still didn't refund my $140 to Visa, even though they did receive the package over a whole week ago - I still have to pay it promptly...”

“The delivery time was good of which as a customer you pay for. The returns are charged at £2.50 but that is per pair !! Which is not made clear so to return 2 pairs a charge of £5.00plus delivery charge£3.95 £8.95 to try on a pair of shoes . I will not be using them again”

“My wife and I have been buying Hotter shoes for about 5 years now. They have all been top quality. All made in England. They are almost impossible to wear out or damage. Considering the length of time they last they are cheaper in the long run than poorly made imports. The description Comfort Concept is very accurate.”

“I have purchased 5 pairs of boots over time, all the uppers are in excellent condition but the soles and heels have disintegrated and have proven to be quite dangerous in some disintegration circumstances. It is a pity really, as the boots are very comfortable, fashionable and still in as new except the crumbled soles/heels. If one was a sceptic, one could think there was a built in obsolescence in order to boost sales.”

“I ordered boots and received a confirmation email stating that I would receive an email when they were dispatched. I didn't receive that for 7 days so mailed them, and twice more after that, no reply. Called but was put on hold for ever, after a few days I chose the "sales" option on the phone and then I got through. It appeared that my order wasn't dispatched at all yet ( 2 weeks after the order) Two days later they dispatched them. It took another 2 weeks to arrive.”

“I was really needing some soft boots and they looked lovely. When they arrived I put them on and went out in them. Yes they are lovely and soft and a nice colour, but, the right boot looks as if it was made in a completely different factor from the left. Different shape and looks puckered, obviously not sewn in properly or the pattern was cut out wrongly. Wider than the left too. Very disappointing.”

“The majority of my shoes are Hotter, and no complaints, received another pair today, wanted some strong winter shoes and very happy with them, being EEE they will take a thicker pair of socks, which is good, roll on the snow.”

“My expensive shoes have disintegrated soles after a month. I am so disappointed as I cant afford to buy new shoes till next year and had hoped these would last me. I am so disappointed and digusted with Hotter , will never buy from them again after finding out im not the only one 😢”

“I fell for the buy one get one promotion that apparently was just a scam. The first pair took over a month, and I figured that was due to the virus and shipping. I called customer service and she said "hm, we only shipped one pair." weeks later I got an email saying they were no longer producing the second one. After several years and many good pairs of Hotter shoes I won't buy from a company that is not reliable or does false advertising.”
