The sole of my boots completely crumbled away on my first wearing. These boots, called Boogie, were not cheap. How does this company get away with such shoddy goods at such exorbitant prices. Don't ever buy them!

Went into HOTTER Cheltenham saw shoes I wanted sale price and 20 percent off. Did not have my size the shop assistant told me to phone hotter and I could purchase them or order on line. Could not get the same price on line so I phoned. The shoes were more expensive when I tried to order them on the phone and the woman said that you get different offers in the shop. She wasn't interested that the wrong information had been given out by the shop assistant and refused to sell the shoes at the same price. What a load of cobblers!,

Boots fell to pieces on my way shopping had to get a taxi home in my stocking feet clutching disintegrating boots ,have 2 brand new pairs upstairs bought for me as presents but terrified to wear them,can I get a refund for them ???

Really terrible customer service. They don't tell you when something is out of stock and won't be replenished, even though the site claims it it still available. They didn't give me accurate tracking information (I'm waiting to see if my order shipped at all, even though they said it did). It's almost as bad as filing a claim with the post office. This is the last order I will ever place with them.

I went into the Taunton Branch yesterday 31/12/2016 to buy a pair of shoes, I picked up several shoes to try on and waited for assistance, I looked over and met the eyes of one of the assistants, she stood looking at me as if I was invisible, I stood up and walked towards her and she very reluctantly came over to help, I asked if I could have the shoes I've chosen in my size, eventually I settled on a a pair I liked and asked if I could try on both pairs, she brought out two left feet ??, she then got me the right one and I said would like to purchase these, she took both shoes and walked of to the till whilst I put on my shoes. When I went over to the till she was acting quite hostile towards me, I said why is there only one shoe in the box, I need to go and get the other one she said, I thought this was strange as she had them both in her hand earlier, I paid but felt very uncomfortable with they way I was treated. My partner and I left the shop and I told him what happened, so we decided to check the shoes I had bought, it was very clear to us both that the shoes had been swapped for a a pair that had been worn. We went back into the shop and spoke to the Manager, I showed her the scuff marks, the heals and the soles, she said they have only been worn in the shop, my partner and I looked at other shoes in the shop and they were not marked, any of them. I said could I have another pair, she said that there wasn't another size, she didn't look at the size of the shoes in the bag or go and have a look to see if there was another pair in my size?, does she really memorise every size of shoe in the shop and how many are left, great stock control, who needs computers ??, there must have been another pair as originally two left shoes were brought out to me to try on, where were the two right ones ?? I said I would like my money back its clear to me these shoes have been worn, I feel they were not the ones I tried on earlier and were swapped whilst I was putting my shoes on. The manager was not happy at all to give me my money and was extremely uncomfortable that I had challenged her, she offered me a £9.00 discount which I accepted, as she was blatantly not going to give me the pair I originally tried on and I like the shoes Its a shame I experienced this poor service as I love the shoes, quality is great and very comfortable, I'm not sure I would go back to this Branch again

I ordered a pair of Mystery boots for my Mom for Christmas on 11/19/16 thinking I would definitely get them here by Christmas! On November 22 I received the following email from Beconsfield Footwear Limited: "Thank you for shopping with us, I'm pleased to let you know that we have dispatched your order detailed below. Mystery - Burgundy-LS/US 7.5 If for any reason we've not been able to send all of your order, your dispatch note will advise that these items are to follow and we will contact you separately regarding these. Most orders do arrive with our customers within 14 days, but please allow up to 21 days for your order to be delivered. Thanks again for shopping with us, and we hope you enjoy your new Hotter product(s) as much as we enjoyed making them!! Kind regards Pauline Swarbrick Head of Customer Care" I started to become concerned after 21 days and not receiving the boots I ordered for my mom for Christmas. I emailed them and since I have a program on my computer I can see if they read it and sure enough someone read it from Rotterdam ZH and Martinez, CA but no one every responded. Not sure why the Netherlands is involved in this company but I did call them to see if they could give an explanation as to why I haven't received the boots I paid for over 1 month ago! Their customer service representative, Edward was very non chalant and simply stated it was the shipping companies fault and he could refund my money. Really? I really wanted to make this a special Christmas for my mom after my Dad passed away and all they could say is oh too bad. Unacceptable. If you don't care enough for your customers to make it up after you screw up and to go above and beyond then you are definitely in the wrong business. The blame game? Really? When I spoke with the manager, Jessica she said, It's not our fault its the postal service. She then stated in a very sarcastic voice, The US Postal Service. As if inferring that the US is to blame! Why do you sell your products to the US if you can't manage to guarantee delivery? Why not pay an extra 2 bucks to get delivery confirmation? Are you that cheap or did you ever ship the boots to begin with? I'm thinking the later. After I got off the phone with the manager who was absolutely no help whatsoever I googled Hotter Boots and found many negative reviews that also never received their boots!! I plan on reporting this company to the proper authorities as well. Stay Away but some UGGS or buy from Amazon!! Never buy from hotter.com Terrible Rip Off Company!

I ordered a pair of slippers for my father for Christmas almost three weeks ago. I was told the order would be with me in 2-3 days and after three weeks without hearing from them, I called them to be told there was a problem with my order; they had to cancel it and reorder it on my behalf and that it would now not be with me until January. Not once, was I contacted to be told there was a problem with my order and that it would not be with me in time for Christmas. When I phoned and was told this by their Customer Service team, I didn't receive an apology or a reason as to why my product would not be with me for Christmas. To say their Customer Service team is disappointing is a total understatement and I will never order from them again!

Ordered 3 pairs of hotter boots in October,on a promotion,which meant that 1 pair was effectively free.Was told that they would not be available until December,but I did not mind because they were to be a Christmas present.Received 2 pairs end of November,the 3rd pair was marked to follow.Noticed on their website that the boots were no longer available,so called Customer Services,and was assured that my order would be fullfilled,as it was on back order,and I would definitley get them by Xmas Called Hotter this morning to enquire about the 3rd pair,but was told they were not making any more of them,and the order had been cancelled!!! I suppose it would have been too much to ask them to have contacted me first!! Tried to order a replacement,it seems that Hotter have stopped all orders for boots until after Xmas!!!!!! Very nice of them to let me know what the situation is!!! I will never buy from Hotter again,back to Clarks for me!

Online ordering service is a disaster. They have had my money for the boots I ordered for a month now and still no boots. Waited on hold for over half an hour to speak to one of their customer advisers to be told again that they are still not dispatched, after the previous person I spoke to last week told me they would be dispatched immediately and would arrive within the next 5 days. The whole system is a disaster - the service in their shop is awful, my advice is stay away and do not buy anything from them!

We ordered a pair of Hamlet shoes together with Polish for the shoes at the beginning of October 2016 The Polish arrived on 10th October however no shoes. I queried this and was told the shoes would arrive by 5th November. STILL NO shoes I was then given a date of 21st November STILL NO shoes. On 24th I spoke to customer services when I was told they would be in on 19th December. I asked to speak to management who did telephone me shortley after and was eventually told I would probably not get the shoes as only 4 or 5 pairs were due to arrive. If Hotter knew that why send out the Polish which is no good without the shoes. I am totally disgusted. I have purchased shoues from Hotter before however Hell will freeze over befor I ever use this company again. BE WARNED

Boots split at the seams within a couple of weeks of wear. Didn't keep the receipt so told there was no redress. Won't be buying from Hotter again that's for sure!!

Ordered a pair of trainers 24th October and still not received them as of 15th November. I went into Hotter shop in Guildford and got ignored by three members of staff chatting behind the counter. Asked if anyone serving and I presume was the manager, didn't bother to look at me, but said under her breathe to the other two "can some one serve that person". Won't be going back.

Sandals bought for my husband 4 years ago were left in the wardrobe. When I realised this last year, he told me that they had rubbed sores on his feet just under the outside ankle bones. I tried to stretch them and he wore them again. They did this again and I photographed his feet and sent these photos and the sandals back to Hotter explaining the situation. They sent them back again saying there was no fault. I tried again to stretch the sides but they are stitched in a way that makes a ridge, which is what rubs his foot. This happened again. Now I am going to remove the stitching and I think that will make them more comfortable. However, I do not think my husbands will be persuaded to try them again. Certainly not on holiday!

I bought a pair of your cloud shoes and took them on holiday with me instead of my sketchers, it was a bad mistake because they made my feet sore and I have ended up with a black big toe nail. I could hardly walk in them and the top of the shoe put pressure on my big toes, unfortunately I didn't take my sketchers with me and had to put up with the pain,

Ordered two pairs of shoes from hotter extra wide fit still to small retuned shoes to our local branch. When we checked the refund found hotter had deducted £7.00 have sent them several e-mails and have had no explanation what this charge was for.

I love the Mary Jane style of shoes. The Hotter ones look lovely and i have bought several pairs in different colours. Every single pair, whether I wear them often or infrequently, have had the sole disintegrate after a short time. This is not acceptable for the price Hotter charge. I will never buy them ever again
