Sports Direct with slightly better clothing. Unlike all other retailers where you're able to order online, try at home and send back the sizes of the items your bought, SportsDirect2 (HoF) refuses to give you your money back, you must accept a credit note. Avoid like Covid and hopefully this type of business will disappear.

I had ordered 4 items (medium) using the size chart provided on the web site. One of the items received was to small. I now understand that certain manufacturers size are different to the normal. I would have thought that the buyers for House of Fraser would have done research into this and have the website show that some items' medium size is actually a small. I now have to wait 2 weeks to get a refund. I will not be in a hurry to shop online at this store as I do not want the hassle of paying and returning an item then waiting over 2 weeks for a suitable outcome.

All items, which are from UK to most of the countries, including mine is taxed and I do pay handling services (just for it around 15 euro, sometimes +). It wouldn´t be a problem, if one my order wouldn´t be divided to 2-3 different packages. So I have to overpay meaningless amount of money from non cordinated company work and of course NOT ALL my money are back to my account after one of the wrongly packed and sent order.

I bought a Benefit Badgal mascara at £22.50, only because you’d were giving away a benefit bundle with it. But when it arrived there was only 1 tiny sample with it. Altogether it cost me £27.49 inc pp for a mascara which is ridiculous.. So I’m sending it back.

Bought a dress, was way too big not true to size so returned it, however House of Fraser do not do free returns so I paid £4.40 for 2nd class tracked. Then received the refund with £5 deduced from the refund. Basically paid for delivery twice. This is ridiculous & will not be ordering from there again.

Terrible! Item arrived damaged and with a lower price ticket that what I had paid. When I raised this with customer services I was told “this happens” and if I wanted to return the goods it would be at my own expense. Wouldn’t shop with HOF again.

I bought an item on the website a Karimor coat with some socks. I asked for next day delivery at a cost of £8. After half and hour House of Fraser cancelled the coat from my order without an alternative offered. I instantly sent messages across customer support and Twitter to cancel the rest of the order. I was told the order had been accepted already so couldn’t be cancelled 10 minutes before I got a confirmation from the courier. The rejection to cancel the rest of the order felt intentional. Little help and no solutions offered.

I think it’s awful that you charge customers to return their items - I would have happily gone into a shop to try everything on but you’re fitting rooms aren’t open. I would have also happily returned them to a shop but you don’t offer a full refund, just credit. I paid £28 to return the dresses I ordered. I will never buy anything from house of Fraser again and have absolutely no interest in visiting the store.

The bra was not the right size at all and unfortunately this item classes as underwear so can’t be taken back, but initially I was told I could so unhappy with the product and service. The bra didn’t touch my skin and I have never had an issue with taking this back before.

Not very impressed with shoe quality looked out of shape and very hard, almost like a long banana shoe it looks massive on my husbands feet, like a clown shoe ☹️

Paying for delivery on a purchase over £250 is bad enough (and none of your competitors make their customers do this) but then to also make the customer pay postage for any returns, even when faulty? Your company won't survive long with that policy.

I was very disappointed. Ordered a Michael Korea bag. Sent in the plastic envelope, no dust bag or any protective packaging whatsoever, just shoved in a plastic mail bag. I have returned.

Paid £7.99 for next day got it 2 days later. Wrote to customer services. Haven’t the decency to reply. If you take back returns to the shop they only give you a credit note. It does say that on the site. But I still think it’s a cheek. I will never shop there again.

I ordered a pair of trainers over a month ago and paid extra for next day delivery. Still no sign of a delivery. I contacted the online support to get a notice that "it might be lost" and that they considered my ticket now closed - still no trainers or refund. After multiple ticket closures I've had a response that somebody would get back to me in 5 days time. For such a high end store the customer service is beyond shocking!

Really disappointed in house of Fraser wanted to return an online item and was only offered a gift voucher really not acceptable as i paid for delivery which is expensive and then they want you to pay returns won’t be ordering on line again.
