“Can’t return items bought on line to a House of Fraser store to receive a refund only two options available 1. Issued a credit note 2. Buy another item in store”

“I find that the stock has not changed and all emails i get have the same old stock wvery email so now i tend to delete without reading. Although they have a sale the prices are not too low. Delivery charges also make any purchase dearer as most retailers offer free over an amount or some sort of Incentive. Delivery agent is slow and tracking of the parcel is terrible. Website needs an overhaul as sometimes the picture is not the item described, functionality for tablets on website is terrible. Plus side is most items great quality and good names but we need some new fresh stock”

“I ordered two cushions online ..described as blush in colour. On arrival..the quality was good but the colour is a pale lilac ..ugh!!!! So I boxed them back up and took them to the post office.. Over £13 !!!! to return them to House of Fraser ...beware purchasers no free postage Thanks for nothing ..or should I say less than nothing H of F”

“All great products so impressed with quality however I paid for a next day delivery and not everything was delivered. I needed to return some of the items unfortunately when I returned to store I was advised I would receive only credit note giving me the only option to send back via post office costing me almost £10 . In future I will only purchase in store.”

“Unfortunately House of Fraser is living in the dark ages still. People have had to shop online for clothes and shoes and therefore need to order a selection of things to try on for size and fit. Every other store I have shopped at either does free returns or a standard price of a return, for example £2.50. They also use a parcel collection company like Hermes so you can simply have your parcel collected from the house or drop to a local collection point. The fact that House of Fraser still does not offer any type of returns service is ridiculous. I had to queue up at the post office and then pay a huge fee to send back one coat. For this reason I try never to shop at House of Fraser and don't plan to again. I really think you need to reconsider this policy as when people shop online they need to feel confident to order more things than they wanted to try on.”

“I paid extra for the next day delivery as it was part of my fiancé’s birthday present and I got an email the following day saying there was a problem with the order and it wasn’t getting delivered and only 1 part of the order would be getting delivered the following day (not next say delivery ). I eventually got both parts but the service I expect from Frasers is usually better than this”

“I purchased a Kilian Love don’t be shy refill kit. I received a confirmation email and delivery email. But when I received my £120 perfume, it wasn’t the one pictured on the website. It was just a refill bottle. No atomiser, no funnel and no extraction tool. I spoke to customer services and they said they can send me a returns label and a full refund. However the perfume was a gift for my mums birthday the following day so I had to take it. I’ve since found out that House of Fraser are known for falsely advertising items with old stock pictures and claiming no responsibility when confronted. I won’t be shopping there again.”

“Product as described but not in original packaging ! Not folded just shoved in a bag creased up which is not what you would expect when purchasing designer shirts. Looked like it had been a previous returned purchase.”

“It’s disappointing how house of Fraser charges both delivery and returns online. Only offering credit notes in store isn’t always acceptable especially when they don’t sell the item again in store.”
