“Customer service failure. Shoes were delivered but had been worn so desperate attempt to get replacement sent to me in 4 days proved impossible. Yet I paid for next day delivery on the original order. Customer service poor, responses parroting the same verses but not looking to rectify the issue. I have used HOF for a while but after this experience I won’t be returning.”

“Nice experience however a bit risky. Very likely that a product may not fit you and you will have to pay for the return postage fee which will limit my future shipping unless the products is faulty.”

“I made a purchase and the wrong colour item was sent. I used the online chat feature to report it an was not resolved after a painful 30 mins. Sent an email to customer service but no response...poor.”

“The purchase I made it ladies Kicjersboots was fine and I picked up from the arranged collection point. The size however is not right and I tried to return them to Sports Direct but was told I would only receive a credit note as they don't have the product in stock. Why can't they give me a refund on a purchase which is still new in the box?”

“Postage for my trainers seemed high however as they were in the sale I thought it didn’t matter that much however I had to return trainers as they were to big I wasn’t allowed the option to return to store as they were an online order! I had to pay postage again which in total cost £9.50 needless to say I won’t be ordering online from house of Fraser again”

“Product is yet to arrive, hermes confirmed they had lost it in a support chat. Sent this with a request to house of fraser on two days ago to which they replied "we need to speak to hermes" They had all the references for the case and have not yet heard back from them. Obviously can't review the product.”

“Quick delivery what is excellent but I ordered a size 6 and received a size 7. Even though it stated online size 6 was available. Order reference number: HOF40000066270289 Can I exchange the trainers in store as I ordered them online?”

“I purchased 2 of the same item in different sizes but when I tried to return one of them at my local store, I was told I could not have a refund but instead they would issue me with vouchers. The jacket I purchased is sold at my local store, so I can see no reason why it could not be returned. I had to send the unwanted item back at my own expense. This is out of line with all other large stores and as a result I will no longer purchase anything online from House of Fraser.”

“Nice backpack from ralph lauren but it was too small. There were no measurements on the website as a guide and to top it off house of fraser expect you to pay to send back your online return.”
