Delivery and return costs even when spending a large amount. I would not purchase from House of Fraser again due to this

I had to send my item back, because it didn't look like the picture, so it was unsuitable. I had to pay to send it back. It cost me £8.80. I got a refund, but I was charged £4.99 but I don't know why, as I to pay postage to have it delivered.

There has not been a great deal of communication with regards to delivery. My last communication with the delivery company was 06-10-20. This was to notify me my parcel was delayed by 24 hours. It is now 09-10-20 and no further communication and no delivery. Please can you advise when I'm expected to receive my items?.

Over £100 for a Ted Baker bag and it didn’t even come in a box , just a bit of flimsy plastic to protect it . Expected better from such a store its a sign SportsDirect are involved

The items where great considerING the amount paid!😀 but the packaging was poor. It was almost like I ordered the items from an eBay shop! A sweat shirt, belt hat and scarf all squashed in a tiny bag. That's not acceptable from a renowned shop like HoF

Order made on 30th of September €7 for delivery and it took until 6th of October to arrive. Item ordered came in plastic packaging but grubby and stained when arrived - very disappointing as it was a white jumper and a gift needed for 9th of October so no time to return. Overall very disappointing and won’t be ordering again.

I was disappointed to discover that I had to pay quite a bit to return the items I didn’t want to keep. I ordered shoes and wasn’t sure of the correct size so ordered two different sizes and because they are big boxes I had to pay £14 just to return them. During this time when we are all trying to minimise social contact I think this is really quite bad. Returns should be free to try and make it easy so people aren’t encouraged to travel into the shop in person. I won’t be shopping online with them again as there are plenty of choices out there now that do free returns.

I collected a package from Westfield White city, I went there at the opening time I wait 5 minutes to find who was in charge to be in the till. After that both tills were not working and I wait another 10 mins to be able to collect it. The product was ok.

Dune London Gabryel loafers . Shoes look good but are very tight fitting and uncomfortable! They feel heavy !

I ordered a relaxing sun lounger chair but a family issue happened so I tried to cancel my order but the only way is by email so I did this and they did nothing and they had plenty of time to cancel my order,not impressed with your customer service and because they did nothing they process my order instead,and I have been trying to get hold of them I finally spoke to someone today and they admitted that because of COVID 19 the email system is not working very well so I said I was not impressed I got told to call the delivery company but they can not help me as I have no tracking number

Can’t believe that when I need to return something have to do it through Royal Mail and pay full postage. In addition when you read that they advise you do it registered to ensure they have received the items doesn’t fill you with confidence!! If you are to survive in this modern world need to seriously address what your customer want and what your competitors are offering

Went to house of fraser in leamington Spa thought we would try afternoon tea for two good selection but the sandwiches were stale and had mould on them the scones weren't fresh either told the staff straight away and they took them back and bought back fresh ones they took five pound of the bill and gave us extra tea offered a glass of prosecco couldn't knock the staff they were really helpful.

What went wrong is your returns policy!! it's absolutely the worst!...I had 2 T shirts bought for me as a birthday gift unfortunately they were the wrong size and the receipt couldn't be found...All that was required was an exchange for another size but I was told without proof of purchase even that wouldn't be done and as the items were bought with cash there was no proof of purchase even though they agreed the items were bought from that store as the labels and bar codes proved it...I have bought many items from this store in the past but I will never use them again HOUSE OF FRASER U ARE THE WORST!!!

Bought towels via the internet. Quality less than the equivalent from other vendors, but just acceptable. Main problem was hanging threads in one of the towels. Tried to make contact to explain that I wanted a replacement, but if not in stock I wanted to return two other items that were part of a set. No telephone number available, an email address stated that it could be 'some days' before it would be answered, and the return label required me to pay postage even for faulty goods. In the end, I decided to give up, but I am not surprised that House of Fraser is in financial difficulties - I shall not shop there again.

Ordered coat, size 12. Even the invoice said 12. Yous sent 14. I asked for exchange for right size. But no I had to pay £11 to send it back. Took days for refund of coat, yet the delivery cost was not refunded or the returns cost yet it was your fault. Emailing backwards and forward to sat I want my refund and delivery cost reimbursed. Will have to ring head office Monday as getting no where I am also ringing consumers rights. There is no customer service anymore everything is by email such a slow process. Totally forgot mike Ashley owns it now. Will never order again from here customer service is appalling and remember guys unless it’s a faulty item when u buy in store or on line you will only get a credit note. They tried to offer me one. I was having none of it giving the error was on their part. 😕😕😕😕 I shop on line due to physical disabilities and this has been a right headache. Had to pay and order right size while waiting on Money to be refunded incase it sold out. Not everyone can afford to do this. There should be a direct exchange system in place, a lot of companies on invoices ask this before you return.
