Absolutely shocking bad experience with House of Fraser. They must be losing customers by the thousand. Cost me a fortune to return an item by post as the store would not take it back. I will never shop there again. The staff would not tell me their names they must be frightened of the new management. Avoid this shop - what a ruin to a previously reputable company.

They cancel orders and keep postage costs. They cancelled an order and said that they already charged it to the bank account... Then said to take it up with the bank?? Seriously? After that they can cancelled 2 other orders completely.. Yet to see if I get refunded for those ones.. Avoid.

been to the store inn Telford several times to buy stuff but staff are not willing to man the tills. group of girls talking in corner of store when asked where do i pay, was told the other side of store, when eventually found it , no body there.No wonder the stores are going to close. will not go there again.unable to buy anything !!!! and i am not the only one, several customers waiting to pay were ignored.

How disgusting is it to treat your customers this way, I have sent you 2 contact forms, tryed calling all of the numbers on your website that seems to be disbanded nobody has got back to me obviously you couldn’t give one for your customers, I will be putting this review online with many other unhappy customer having to deal with the same thing, where’s my order????? I have recieved somebody else’s item and Invoice but not my order, I hear that you have a new policy well what a shambles HOF have become your truly a laughing stock I have bought many items over the years but I will never buy from you again, I now have to drive miles to a store take time from work plus diesel it’s costing me money and should not be, it’s your error and ignorance to only get a credit note which I don’t want I want at least a full refund but have been told by the store that your policy has changed (ridiculous), You should be contactable straight away and send Hermes back to collect this and deliver my item immediately. You could never stand side by side with John Lewis that’s the difference in success they’re Customer Service and policy are superb, learn from them.

Do not order from HoF on line under any circumstances. You have to pay £4.99 to collect from store! You have to pay postage to return any item. To phone customer services you pay £6 plus network charges. My item was packed in a polythene bag with a large sticker saying "Damaged, Ripped, Smells" - with a diagram showing the exact location of the ripped section! I have sent two emails. No response whatsoever. Unbelievable

Please do not order online!!! The purchases you have paid to receive you will be emailed to be changing. You then receive the contents and they are not all there not to forget you have paid for delivery of which you expect the warehouse to be checking before sending out your items!!!!!!! I have sent an email NO REPLY!!!! I have now to send them back and have to PAY for their mistake!! You couldn't write it!!!! Absolutely won't do House of Fraser from now on!!! Oh tried live chat more like dead chat no one there ever!!!! Abysmal.

I have been trying to place an order with hof says we don't deliver !!!!!!!!!!! nor does the system allow me to delivery to store. when trying to contact them all t.numbers on the net says …. this is not a correct number. has something happened we not know about !!! can not get thro to them not even by email ! bizzare. suppose I will have to write to them … but is any 1 there to open the mail

Paid for next day delivery (6.99) for a £20 order but did not receive the goods for a further 3 days! Emailed company, it stated it would respond within 24 hours yet i have still received no reply. I thought House of Fraser were supposed to be a reliable, trustworthy company especially as the goods are priced accordingly. I guess i was wrong! Wish i had seen the reviews before placing my order.

“”AVOID AT ALL COSTS”” Brought a pair of Levi’s on House of… Brought a pair of Levi’s on House of Fraser. Due to there very poor size chart and no listing ref to the leg size I had to guess what the leg size was. When it turned up the leg size was wrong I then realised that they do not offer free returns now. So as it was there poor listings I thought they would at least offer a refund or arrange collection on the postage for free especially as I’ve spent over £100. Sadly they didn’t care nor was interested regarding my complaint. So now I’ll return all 3 pairs of Levi’s for a full refund as they are a bad company that doesn’t care about it’s customers. “” AVOID HOUSE OF FRASER AT ALL COSTS “”

Returnes department - Shocking experience, ordered goods and used evoucher. Had to return some items , sent evoucher back even when I bought an item and then even worse they havent credited me for one of the items i have returned. ROTTEN service cannot get people to communicate with you to get sorted taken 4 months so far and still out of pocket.

Shocking!! order online pay £5 for click and collect from store which is free with most stores and have to wait FIVE to SEVEN days for delivery. No delivery in this day and age takes that long, no updates what so ever either. Need to return some items too and reading reviews on here am not looking forward to that one bit!

Worst online company I have dealt with , I bought a quite expensive shirt they sent the wrong item in the correct packaging almost two weeks in and they just don’t reply to emails there is no contact number to call absolutely shocking customer services

This is the worst department store in London or most probably in the whole UK. first they have no customer service department or dedicated numbers to call for customers should they any issue which tells how much they care. second, they are not credible or trustworthy, they went into administration last year, many people like myself who didn't know have lost the credit the store owes them. when I went to claim my money they said we owe you nothing! third, their return policy is only two weeks, decent store have min 28 days, John Lewis which is next to them have 90 days return policy. there is more to say but I want to be brief. this should tells you enough about this store. Its unfortunate for such a nice building in prime location.

Service has deteriorated beyond recognition at House of Fraser since the take over. I ordered items through the 'pre-order' service. Waited 2 weeks after the supposed dispatch date. No contact from Frasers until 5 days after my email asking when my order would be dispatched. I was told the items where not available and that i would be issued a refund. The online site states that payment would not be taken until goods are dispatched which is a lie. I think this is a con to entice people onto there site with the promise of fantastic bargains only to take the money, ignore the customer then deny that those items were ever available. Goodbye Frasers, your not the store i used to know.

What a shame their online shopping is such a disgrace. First item sent, all stretched where it has been on hanger, voucher not money refund. 2 nd item ordered, paid at more expense, another postage demand, monies taken, then notified out of stock.....it is still on website for sale. In store staff and customers are let down by this fiasco. Rebecca in Aylesbury HOF couldn’t be more helpful. For some reason store unable to transfer garments.....for a secure sale......you couldn’t make it up. I need to take a 50 mile round trip to rid myself of my voucher.
