Terrible customer service since they changed ownership. I have bought and item online and unable to return. They make almost impossible to return your items. They have no customer service phone number to call either. Please try to avoid them

Ordered fathers days present on monday. Paid next day delivery. Over £250 spent and nothing. Just a order confirmation email and no delivery. Moneys been taken and bank have advised will take weeks to get my money bank. Sent multiple emails with no replies and no customer service to contact. Fuming is an understatement. Kids left with no gifts for dad tomorrow. Disgusting

Appalling service from HoF after ordering online. Unlike most stores, you have to pay for click & collect; delivery to store was also four days when most are next day. However, it was the only place I could get the goods. I picked up my trousers - short length when I had ordered long. I couldn't just hand them back, I had to pay to post them and will have to wait for a refund. This is after their error: £4.99 click & collect plus £6.40 postage for nothing. Do not use this service.

handbag broken strap Shoes didn’t fit Swimming costume didn’t fit paid extra £6.99for next day delivery To return the parcel it cost £13.14 Will not be ordering online again! Very disappointed!!!!

Had a gift card they now won’t honour because the company has changed ownership. Terrible customer service, I’ll never shop here again out of principle!

Terrible service. I can’t imagine and understand why I have to be the victim of this kind of service. This is the lesson of my entire life, and I will never buy anything from house of fraser in the future. I made my online order on 8th of April. Even I was so patient of waiting the order to be delivered, but nearly after one month, I received the announcement of some items in the order were out of stock and were canceled. I was a little sad, and then received the half of my order on 6th of May (after the transaction on 8th of April). The thing is that the full amount of money of this order is charged immediately on 8th of april, and House of fraser refused to refund for their cancelled items. I feel so frustrated, and my bank asked me to ask them and they gave me full proof with bank statement showing the full amount of money were sent to their bank account. And now it is end of May, the only thing that they told me is they didnt know, just ask the bank even I gave them full evidence that where the money did go to. And they showed me nothing. This is not fair for me at all. If you can show me the fault I made here, is this just because I used to trust on HOF service?

WARNING Just returned an online order (Ralph Lauren mens polo shirt) to the Cabot circus branch Bristol, absolutely shocking they wouldn't refund the price I paid online back to my credit card unless I sent it back via post of which i have to pay for as they will not do returns in store, (even when the product is of faulty goods ) i spoke to a female manager after the male shop assistant told me he can only give me a credit note, the manager he got over would not budge and said that's all I'm entitled too, then they told me even if the goods are faulty I lose my delivery fee of £4.99, so i ended up even more out of pocket by having to take a credit note instead of what i paid even though the polo shirt arrived yesterday and I returned it at 10am this morning the next day, if your a fool like i was and shop there, you have no chance of getting your money back, ive told them i will not be back and another shop assitant told me they get loads of complaints about this, so i had to buy another item to get ride of this pathetic credit note, i will be putting the £3 remaining in the bin, house of fraser look after your high paying customers get your house in order please... BE WARNED..DO NOT SHOP AT HOUSE OF FRASER OR ONLINE .... EditDelete Share

I have never experienced a more horrendous service. I returned a dress I had bought online, which cost me £60.00. I returned it and sent them an email and attached proof of delivery to their warehouse. They said "we don't accept responsibility of anything that happened after the takeover of House of Fraser" Appalled! I, will NEVER out of principle buy a single item from House of Fraser EVER again. Shocked, absolutely shocked. (oh...and by the way, their so called customer service number doesn't work- handy aye?! bunch of absolute head-bangers) I contacted a HOF store and they claimed they don't have a number or have anything to do with customer services. The quicker they go bust, the better I say.

Brought two t shirts online for collection, opened them in store and one which online, said it was white was labelled off white (ivory) I tried to return there and then and told I would have to either accept a gift token or return it at my expense . What a rubbish company, I for one will never shop there again. Be warned especially when buying on line, you can’t get refund at the store, you have to pay for return after they already charge one of the highest delivery cost for pickup at store of anyone. Sooner they go bust better for us all, not the house of Fraser of old, very sharp practices

I will never order ever again. Customer service is none existent. The web site was incorrect for my order which was a suitcase needed for weekend and even though it was house of Fraser fault I was expected to pay postage and return it myself. What was once amazing isnow a joke. I will not get a refund for 14 days, inconvenience of posting it back and I still don’t have my suitcase. Sent emails but bog standard reply is acknowledgement with 72 hours!!! That was no good to me as I needed to know where my case was. There is absolutely no one to talk to and even the store itself in the ordering department didn’t have a number!! Been trying to sort it out all day. It was resolved in store in the end but customer service is absolute rubbish!!

i received cushion covers and no actual cushions. I could not phone as no customer service line exists anymore. I emailed 3 times with no response. I contacted my local store (Bath) and although apologetic they agreed that since the takeover there is no customer service. If i return the goods that were falsely advertised i would only get a credit note unless i paid return postage. I had already paid delivery charge which is now paid when delivered to store or home! will cut up my reward card and never shop there again. Ashley you are a albeit very rich JOKE

I have been trying to get a refund from house of fraser since March. They have taken back my item and are selling it again on their website but are either unable or unwilling to refund my money. I even received an email saying my refund was being processed but never got the cash. How are they getting away with this?

Absolutely shocking bad experience with House of Fraser. They must be losing customers by the thousand. Cost me a fortune to return an item by post as the store would not take it back. I will never shop there again. The staff would not tell me their names they must be frightened of the new management. Avoid this shop - what a ruin to a previously reputable company.

They cancel orders and keep postage costs. They cancelled an order and said that they already charged it to the bank account... Then said to take it up with the bank?? Seriously? After that they can cancelled 2 other orders completely.. Yet to see if I get refunded for those ones.. Avoid.

been to the store inn Telford several times to buy stuff but staff are not willing to man the tills. group of girls talking in corner of store when asked where do i pay, was told the other side of store, when eventually found it , no body there.No wonder the stores are going to close. will not go there again.unable to buy anything !!!! and i am not the only one, several customers waiting to pay were ignored.

How disgusting is it to treat your customers this way, I have sent you 2 contact forms, tryed calling all of the numbers on your website that seems to be disbanded nobody has got back to me obviously you couldn’t give one for your customers, I will be putting this review online with many other unhappy customer having to deal with the same thing, where’s my order????? I have recieved somebody else’s item and Invoice but not my order, I hear that you have a new policy well what a shambles HOF have become your truly a laughing stock I have bought many items over the years but I will never buy from you again, I now have to drive miles to a store take time from work plus diesel it’s costing me money and should not be, it’s your error and ignorance to only get a credit note which I don’t want I want at least a full refund but have been told by the store that your policy has changed (ridiculous), You should be contactable straight away and send Hermes back to collect this and deliver my item immediately. You could never stand side by side with John Lewis that’s the difference in success they’re Customer Service and policy are superb, learn from them.
