Dreadful - just dreadful. Mike Ashley seems determined to run it into the ground. See all the other negative reviews. It's luck if your order is processed. My first was cancelled do to a card issue - umm my card provider stated there was no problem and pre-authorisation had been approved. I suspect HoF simply didn't want to supply the order and honour the DEBS discount code. Second order paid for with Paypal using the same card but no discount = processed (shock). Third order 'pending' although stock was supposed to have been available 10 days ago. I'm assuming this will also be cancelled. Customer care is non-existent, literally. No contact number, email form only, they might get back to you, if they feel like it. I'll repeat that; THERE IS NO CUSTOMER CONTACT NUMBER. Shocked aren't you? Even my card provider did not have a valid direct number for them, which was very concerning. You're left with the impression the new management has no intention of retaining existing customers or running the stores as viable concerns, they just wanted the brand names that came with HoF and they're letting it wither. It's like dealing with an shady internet retailer when the web first started.

I would strongly advise that if they mess around with your order, and don't provide things that you've paid for, to get your refund by contacting your card issuer. It will be dealt with much more efficiently then, and likely make them be audited and forced to change. This was always my favourite clothes store. Even more than asos. Since the MA takeover though you can see the standards have dropped, massively. It is now just sports direct with Ralph Lauren on sale too. You can no longer contact them, other than via an online chat area, where they terminate the chat if you make them deviate from their pre-programmed script. Trust me - I wasn't abusive or anything. They only like to copy and paste answers, rather than type. This is unbelievable. John Lewis here I come!

Taken the money and promised next day delivery however item still hadn't arrived a month later despite being promised various dates. Terrible service.

PLEASE BEWARE READ THE REVIEWS ONLINE BEFORE ORDERING FROM HOUSE OF FRASER - Ordered 2 Bras from House of Fraser, they did not fit so were returned the day after they were delivered. They were sent to me together in one plastic bag on hangers. They have been returned to me stating that they have not been sent back in their original condition!!! They were sent back to House of Fraser within 24 hours of receiving them in the one plastic bag with their large original tags still attached and on the hangers in EXACTLY in the same condition they were received by me. House of Fraser have accused me of wearing the bras - they did not fit so why would I wear them? The bras both have very large labels attached to them which would have been seen under any clothing they were worn with so this accusation is total fabrication on House of Frasers part. I believe House of Fraser now have a policy NOT to issue refunds to customers and to accuse their customers of wearing items in order NOT to issue refunds. It is interesting to see that Sports Direct also under Mike Ashley's ownership also have many many negative online reviews. House of Fraser used to be a High Street Institution they are now a place where it is not safe to shop they have absolutely zero respect for the customers, I will never purchase anything from House of Fraser again online or instore!!!!

Extortionate delivery costs for standard delivery. Excruciatingly long wait for dispatch. Three of my items were in stock the other was pre-order. Cue an excuse to not send anything. The pre-order date has now come and gone with no confirmation of dispatch. Order your autumn wardrobe now, six months ahead of season. The clothes may just arrive in time. Oh, one final thing, did I read correctly that they now charge £6 if you call customer service?

They do not even deserve one star. This company is a disgrace. If you value your time and money avoid at all cost. They sent me the wrong item and I have had to waste so much time complaining in order to get my money back. They are impossible to get in touch with apart from the complaints site resolver, and then they only pick and choose which messages they want to answer. I had to pay for insured return postage even though it was their mistake for sending me the wrong item. Initially they said they would return the costs, but now refuse to answer any message or refund me. A disgrace of a company. I will now be taking my case to the ombudsman and may I suggest that more people dealing with this company follow suit, to stop them behaving like this with other people. I will NEVER shop with them again!

Ordered some goods 2.5 weeks ago. Order still says processing. I have both emailed customer service and also used contact form but nobody has bothered to come back to me. Never had problems HOF in the past but would never order from them again now. Can’t believe how customers are being treated, it’s disgusting!

Absolutely disgusting I ordered clothes for my holidays a week ago. Still nothing no response from customer service. No response from the customer contact form. No response from no one. There trading license should be revoked.

Ordered a designer bag in march and it said i wouldn't get it till april (which i didn't mind waiting) have just logged in to check when its coming and it says CANCELLED. no email no communication to tell me this funnily enough no refund either!! WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON

it seems it was the last time I went to buy something at House of Fraser . Perfume, which I unfortunately bought the price higher than anywhere else for 10-15 euros. Using money on a loyalty card is not possible. The system does not work. And in the department of women's clothing in general a game with prices. On sale I found 2 jeans. On one, the price after devaluation was 26 euros. On others there was no price tag at all. I went to the checkout with the desire to purchase those that are without a price tag. And then there was a funny incident. Sale assistants began to search for the price of jeans throughout the store, then in some papers. Not found. Then two sale assistants discussed something very quietly, and one of them says, "My colleague told me that these jeans are more expensive. About 150 euros. Therefore, we will sell you for 70 euros." Why 70? Why not 20? thirty? 50? 100?. Sale assistants themselves come up with a price. Horrible shop has become after the change of ownership.

Ordered Ninewest shoes on line was sent the wrong shoe size, design and colour. And I have to pay for recorded delivery to send it back as if it was my mistake both the delivery and return costs the half cost of the shoe. I have a feeling this is done deliberately to get rid of the unwanted stuff because no one will bother returning because it costs so much. I am not happy at all, I feel like its a waste of time and money. I used to love shopping at House of Fraser but it has all changed now. Totally put off.

Disgusting HOF experience. I ordered three dresses online and tried returning it to the Oxford St store today as none of them fit. They refused to take it back saying that items must be mailed to them for refunds and said I can have a gift voucher instead. Apparently they put this policy in place "two to three weeks ago". This contradicts the return policy they have on their website which says that online purchase can be returned to any HOF store for a full refund. I took the £210 gift voucher because I did not want to deal with the hassle of mailing these items back to them. I can only hope that the gift voucher will not expire before I get to use them. NEVER SHOPPING IN HOF AGAIN after I have used up my voucher as they totally do not deserve my business when there are so many competing departmental stores out there.

Having placed a large order from HOF, non of the clothes arrived with labels on or in packages, they had just been thrown in a black plastic bag (this included a leather jacket worth £500!). When I went to return products that didn't fit I found that you cannot return to the store for a refund (they offer gift card) you have to send via post at your expense. From a customer perspective, this order process makes HOF feel like a bargin basement shop with too much emphasis on your initial purchase and not enough customer satisfaction as a priority. I would encourage you to consider buying elsewhere

I used to do shopping at House of Fraser on Birmingham at least once a month, however once I order some clothes online and paid with PayPal. Clothes didn’t really fit me so I went to the store to return it. Sales assistant said that she can’t give me money back as I payed with PayPal and offered a gift card. I said that I am going away for a while when she said that card is valid for 24 month. I was ok with that as I was doing shopping quite regular at this store anyway and I was planning to come back in 4-5 month. When I came back I went to the store later and I couldn’t use my gift card as they told me it’s old and I was supposed to change it for a voucher. I didn’t receive any emails saying that gift cards has to be sent to exchange them. So how I was supposed to know???!! Would never shop here again!!

Fake Sale! Absolutely disgusted by HOF ordered lots of stuff in their "sale" to then go onto my orders a week later and see it's been cancelled, no email to tell me. Will not be buying anything from house of fraser again. Hate that they now have all my details. Not even worthy of 1 star.

What is going on with House of Fraser??? Customer services is rapidly declining! I ordered online on 8 March 2019 and despite this showing despatched to store within a couple of days, this order is apparently missing, without explanation, qafter been allegedly despatched to store on 13 March 2019. It took House of Fraser until 27 March 2019 to refund this back to my account. Very quick to debit payment but very slow in refunding payment! I am afraid that I will be shopping elsewhere in future. Big mistake in allowing Mike Ashley to buy into House of Fraser!

I placed an order on 21st March 2019 and it still says processing on 28th March 2019. I emailed HOF two days ago, yet have heard nothing back. ON the contact page there are no contact details just en email or contact form - which they obviously ignore. I will never order rom HOF again
