“The picture quality is poor at best and the sound is up and down as people talk, I have spoken to both Ideal World and Owners TJC customer services about it but nothings been done.”
“Was looking forward to the new Ideal World but what a disappointment, awful old fashioned cloths, the presenters spend to much time on one item till I am so bored listening to them I turn off not that I will be buying any of the fashion items, where are the old models , probably saw the fashion and decided to leave, very disappointing.”

I was a long time customer previously and bought many many items of fashion, electrical items etc. Now they sell boring old fashioned over-priced clothes with absolutely no style. The presenters ramble on & on & on for ages over ONE item be it a watch or a walking stick until boredom surely causes most viewers to switch off. I don’t even bother to tune in any more - it used to be a great shopping channel with interaction between the presenters and the models now it’s one model doing her best to rave over some truly awful expensive old fashioned item of clothing. There really is a limit on how many faux fur trimmed kimonos or watches or walking sticks a person needs!”
“Poor presenters who at times sound like market traders . Absolutely shocking studio filming . I’m sure a better quality could be achieved on a camera phone . Products look like the end of line and the studio sets look amateurish.”
“Ordered a flosser which didn’t arrive after 10 days, so o emailed the customer service. Once they eventually got back to me, they said that they had received my return and we’re going to refund my money…Which they did. Only thing is…I hadn’t received it, so who had opened my personal mail, to get the return label out…Then, I got another mail to say that my goods had gone missing in the post, so they were refunding me….Very strange. In between ordering the flosser, I also bought some mens aftershave…on the 26th of October. As of today…the 2nd November…it still hasn’t been despatched…I wouldn’t be surprised if it also went “missing”, and I get another refund. Not a patch on the old IW…in terms of products, which mostly appear to be cheap items, delivery….or communication. I doubt that I’ll be ordering anything else…Which is a shame.”

“I am so angry with this company. Since they went bust regular flexi payments have been going out of my account so I thought everything was ok. To my amazement I have received a letter from a Debt Recovery company claiming I owe Ideal World £41.40. This letter arrived on Saturday but I will be on the phone first thing Monday to try and sort out what is happening. I am never late with paymenys to anybody so am very annoyed. Will never buy anything From Ideal World again”

“Purchased sunglasses they arrived very poor quality £62.00 so I returned them via asda to you this was a week before they went into administration, they must have known they in were difficulties but carried on selling goods regardless,so I don't expect I'll see my refund. It's time something was done about companies still trading when they are in dire straits disgusting.”

Contacted customer services who said the would get the item picked up via every who found the bar code sent was not valid. “Touch & go with purchases. Generally pointless contacting “ busy” cust/ services. 24-48 responses can escalate to many days. My Vibropower massager “died” less than 28 days’ use. No Warranty, No Refund, No Intention to Compensate me. Insincere presentation. BUT Delivery are people reliable in my area. They could run the TV Shows better. Forget any Satisfaction from Idealworld. Replacement Items / Manufacturers unavailable. I Returned an item via ASDA but it was lost. “ TOUGH”! David.”
“Avoid like the plague! They charge you to contact them! They don't respond to e mails, their products are sub standard, cheaper and better on e Bay. They don't care, their presenters talk a good story but in my opinion you don't get what you promise and if you want a refund, forget it!”
