Never buy a IKEA kitchen. Any long term customer service required for any item like a kitchen is absolutely terrible. After 6 months we are still awaiting replacement items. No on is interested at IKEA and we have to call up constantly to chase. No call backs when they promise to call back. Absolute shambles the customer service.

I ordered a mattress online, spent close to 400 to have it delivered. the day before it was supposed to arrive I got an email stating "whoops, we've made a mistake!" and a case number and a brief explanation that the mattress wasn't arriving. I called the number in the email and was transferred to various half-brained nitwits. I finally spoke to a nice woman this morning and was told the mattress wasn't arriving because it was never at the warehouse to begin with and I'd have to wait ten days for another or get a refund. great! now I have no bed to sleep on. buyers beware - this is a clueless company that doesn't care about people or the money they spend and have no idea where their merchandise is. on the moon? in a truck? they don't know! Ikea sucks.

i spent 30 minutes on ikea’s website looking for a duvet cover. decided on one, tried to buy it, but although their site doesn’t allow for delivery to po boxes, i added an alternative address. the site didn’t like that, therefore, my billing address was different from the delivery address. i called to request to make the purchase over the phone. after a considerable time, the rep asked what i was buying, to which i gave her the number. she said SORRY item has been discontinued. i ask why it wasn’t indicated on their website, she said they don’t say that and that it happens all the time. i suggested that since it happens often, that they create a way to keep their website products up to date. so, wasted an hour to be told that ikea doesn’t care bout customers!

With its delivery contractor - Select Express, first wrong delivery, and then no one in IKEA customer service (CS) tried to identify where my delivery is. At the 4th call to the CS department, I found one "normal" representative to locate it. Then, the contractor screwed up its own delivery system so that it tried to deliver today even if I selected the delivery on this coming Saturday. Terrible IKEA CS and terrible delivery contractor. I will see it will really deliver my items this Saturday correct. If possible, please do not choose IKEA delivery.

products purchased but tons of furniture was delivered merely by 1 man, 5-6 rounds of handling from his truck to my house. pathetically he asked me for help to handle some huge cabinet parts. eventually, missed out 1 set of cabinet doors by ikea which is yet to be delivered till date. reported on 22 dec but till date we are getting no update or whatsoever .....

Blatant scam artists! Cannot believe such a big company can get away with this. Purchased the Hemnes 6 drawer. Product bowed and drawers did not shut after 1 or 2 weeks. The product has a inherent design flaw and if you actually read up on the product nearly 100% of people experience this. It has no supporting leg at the front in the middle so it naturally just dips under its own weight. Ikea had someone come inspect it to make sure it was a manufacturing fault and not our fault, upon walking into the room he laughed "oh not another one of these, I don't even need to ask where the problem is". Ikea should not be selling this, and despite having concrete feedback from their inspection, they are making it VERY hard to organise a refund. We have to disassemble this large, heavy unit with no instructions and zero damage so that it can be returned to them. Considering these things are designed to not come apart after they are built... talk about bad customer service. This returns policy means we are essentially stuck with the product and cannot get our money back.

They suddenly changed their return policy as of Nov 1 2019 and will not even give you store credit even if the item is damaged or faulty. We don’t live near an ikea and travelled 2 hours to be told couldn’t do the return without as receipt or card. Not 365 day returns. Hang on to those receipts even if they fade. Not a happy customer.

I ordered a dresser online, it was never was delivered to my home even though $309 was taken out of my bank account. I called and they reordered the dresser to be delivered and after two weeks it still was not delivered. I called a third time and the order was canceled due to being out of stock. Nobody called me to tell me. I called yet again to get my money back. Will never purchase from IKEA again!

Refused a exchange for items that are clearly yours. I paid cash but lost my recipt. Mangers and staff at Nottingham branch refused . I pointed out this is illigal and in breach of my consumer rights. No joy what so ever .

Worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered 2 dressers online for my daughters birthday in october. They were finally supposed to deliver Nov 13th. Didn't show up. Called the next day and said they had to reschedule for the next week because of delays. Nobody called or showed up in the window time they gave. They called 2.5 hours after the window and said I had 10 minutes to get home to sign for delivery. Couldn't leave work 30 minutes away to make it. Now they say it was cancelled and I have to pay $200. I recommend wayfair, hayneedle, overstock etc. NEVER NEVER NEVER chance anything with this company or they will take your hard earned money and you will be super disappointed. Unreal.

I recently left a review on the kokian jar. I was sent an email from customer service saying the instructions say to wash and dry thoroughly. Absolutely disgusting. I did wash and dry but it still stank. I was made out to be an idiot. I'm taking this terrible response further.

I bought 2 chest drawers. One small drawer was broken. Talked to 3 different people and none had any motivation to help solve my problem.

Very disappointed! We were moving into a new place and made sure to order early (Nov. 25, 2019) so we have it on time. We bought a sofa bed, bed frame, TV stand, dining set, duvet, pillows, etc. from them. Delivery was supposed to be on Nov 30, 2019. They said everything was on track. We waited for 4 hours and called XPO and IKEA several times with a LOT of waiting time on the phone only to find out that it was not coming and no one updated us regarding this. We had to call and reschedule. Same thing happened for Dec. 2 delivery and again on Dec. 5. XPO and IKEA staff were giving false updates and have NO IDEA where our orders are. Either they weren't being transparent or have no clue at all. We ended up having to cancel because when we called them again, they said it was in the WRONG warehouse and was going to be delivered on Dec. 10... They were very unapologetic about it and did not even offer any solutions. Would NOT recommend this to anyone! We wasted so much of our time calling and waiting. I am still waiting for my refund. Worst service ever!

We've approached ikea for remodeling of our kitchen they've suggested to pay 3000 so that the planner would visit our home and take the measurements and give us the design and we wouldn't have to visit the store until the selection of the counter top and other products. As told, planner has visited along with other personal and took the measurements (which also happened after many follow ups). They've sent us the plan which didn't include the whole kitchen but a part of it (which also was done late). Later after contacting the planner she said she would send the whole plan the very next day but it has been weeks that there is no progress nor the design was sent. They have not replied to calls or mails. Such a poor service. Didn't expect such a bad service from them. Being a reputed brand shameful for having done this. This is not the reason we have paid 3k.
